Was served by Nicola, brillant service, friendly and the girl didn't stop all night. Food was good value and the atmosphere was great. Show live champs football which was a bonus

Laura was an absolute 💯 star 🌟 was very polite and accommodating as my mum has a severe allergy to garlic she made sure nothing was to much trouble, booked a table for everyday at a set time WELL DONE

We stopped here en-route to our holiday accommodation. We ordered two steaks medium/rare and two kids burgers, the lady who took our order was very friendly and helpful. We then waited around 40 minutes for our meals, although the pub was almost empty. When the meals arrived the steaks were both well done, bordering on burnt and both kids burgers were burnt and bread buns dry. As we had not eaten since breakfast at 7.30am we were hungry and ate the steaks, the burgers were not eaten though. Nobody came to ask how our meals were, otherwise I would have complained. We just left, very disappointed with our experience. I dread to think what it is like if they are busy!! Avoid this place

We visit Brewer’s Fayre in Minehead often and today we were served by a lady called Georgina. Although we had never seen her before. She was very friendly and welcoming us from the beginning of our arrival to the end with a smile and great customer service, while serving us with the food that we ordered and asking if we need anything else I asked for some mayonnaise and she brought it quickly and efficiently getting it. The restaurant was busier than other days and she was very busy running around serving other tables or cleaning them setting them up for new arrivals but she was still smiley and friendly to everybody. She provided the best customer service that we ever seen in Brewer’s Fayre, Minehead. And as customers we think, she should be recognised.

Lasagne was stone cold, had to send it back twice, got free dessert as an apologie, not enough staff on, manager and 1 waitress and 1 bar person

I have never been here before but will definitely go again. Food was lovely and the service was excellent. Many thanks to Laura for making our visit so memorable.

I've been lucky enough to be staying in. The premier is next door 2. The brewers fair been here. For around 4 months. As I have a Construction company with many men who work for me in the butlins Family holiday park. I would just like to say. How impressed ,How I have been made so welcoming from the staff that work in the Brewer's excellent. Team. Who will work well together? And go above and beyond customer expectations. Especially, Helen, she is an exceptional woman. Takes so much pride and care to each individual customer and also the business , Also, Charlotte is an amazing asset to the company. Hard working and so polite She is hard-working and again. Goes beyand above for the customer. I've really enjoyed. Staying here. They make you feel so welcoming ,I would recommend The brewers fair Minehead to anybuddy once again, thank you for every thing I have worked all over the country and this is by far the best especially because of the staff

The restaurant was quiet but we had such excellent service. We advised we had an autistic child with us and they went beyond service. Interacting with him, service was quick. I couldn’t fault it. The 2 ladies and the gentleman who served us where so friendly, helpful and they were a credit to the company

Called in for a late Wednesday lunch, good normal menu, but brilliant 2 meals for £10.99 menu offer meant it was a very good deal. All good. Not busy, but service was a little slow due to staff numbers.

Good food, reasonable prices, great staff and atmosphere

Great little spot very near to Butlin’s if you want a good meal at decent prices. Went there all week instead of paying through the nose at Butlin’s itself. They were short staffed, but the staff there worked their butts off to ensure the best experience they could offer with good hot food. I can’t thank Charlotte & Jerry and the chefs enough for the efforts they made this week. The above mentioned definitely kept the boat afloat and deserve a pay rise!

Avoid this place, no customers only my family by the table and the waiting time took over an hour for 4 dishes.

I stayed here on the 3rd of feb 24 the only normal bottled beer available was heinekin no budweiser the peroni either gluten free or 00percent and they had no brandy whatsoever. On to the meal two choices of steak rump or sirloin except they had no rump steaks can't believe it and a tiny amount of chips not like whats shown on the menu. in the morning i had breakfast most of which was luke warm at most there is a minimum temperature at which food should be kept and this was definatly not hot. a sign told us last orders for food was 8pm and last orders for drinks was 9pm guess they are short of staff, the staff that were there were polite and helpful. if this is the standard of brewers fayre i will not be visiting there again i have also informed premier inn of the breakfast really not good enough.

Food was lovely. Lisa our server was wonderful went beyond what you'd expect helped me loads the app on my phone . She was very patient and cheerful. Was getting very busy by the time we left.4 pm. Would definitely go again .

Tasty meals, reasonable cost after discount voucher. Staff forgot to provide side order of coleslaw and had to be reminded. Temperature was a little cool though perhaps we shouldn't have sat by the window

They were busy but so when you go in just order your food quickly as takes ages to come out. My steak was nice in taste but too well done. Overall would try again.

Food we had was nice bit on the small side for a sharing dish. But was still actually quite nice definitely will go again on my next visit.

We had Christmas lunch and the food was well cooked and plenty to go round. The atmosphere was festive and the staff was nice however Helen was the biggest star of the day as she made us feel most welcomed through out our lunch. She was truly an angel and made us feel at home. This was our first Christmas in a new area and Helen made us feel so comfortable so thank you for making our Christmas special!

Our server Helen was amazing so thoughtful and caring seriously she was the only one on the floor giving everything she could to make us happy and the whole experience go with ease, she was so thoughtful. Absolutely the best!

Lovely Brewers Fayre and food was adequate but seriously understaffed to the point that it we wanted to step in and help them. We went on the Friday night before Christmas for a early sitting and it was really busy but just 4 members of staff on which was so unfair on them. That said, they managed really well and service was excellent. A shout out to Georgina who was helpful, friendly and accommodating on the night. Breakfast was really good and the best fresh fruit salad. Would recommend but wish they would think about their staff over profits as it really isnt fair on them.

We had a family Christmas dinner here and a family breakfast for 8. The Christmas Dinner was excellent cooked well and plenty of it. The staff were lovely, they did everything they could to make the day special and a day to remember. A big thank you to Becky who made us feel welcome and was absolutely amazing and was brilliant with the kids. Wishing you all a happy new year 🎉

Lovely food with generous portions. steak cooked rare to perfection. Really lovely unlimited breakfast the next morning with so much choice.The staff were so friendly and actually wanted our evening to be as lovely as possible. Thank you.

The food is probably the best of the usual pub fare that is offered in Minehead and the cost is comparable to a McD's. I had the cheese and potato pie which was great for the two meals for a tenner menu. They do pub grub extremely well just didn't understand why the wait for it took so long. Most of the junk food in Minehead arrives in minutes despite one or two places having proper kitchen, maybe this place does actually cook to order and hence the better taste.

went to this brewers today and ordered 3 cheese and bacon burgers and 3 soft drinks at a cost of £52.00. well when the food came out the portion sizes were smaller than a child's portion. spoke to the manager and she said that is the portion size. we got a refund and went to the hairy dog in Minehead and got the exact same meals, costing exactly the same and portion sizes were amazing. I will not be entering this pub again. shocking wouldn't recommend STAY AWAY......

Chips cold, peas cold, hunters chicken over cooked & very thin 👎 no staff come over to ask if everything was OK , the veg on the other 2 meals were cool, not enough gravy with Xmas diner👎offered a free dessert as compensation. 2 sherry trifles ordered, no taste of sherry at all. Don't go here!!!

Evening meals are good value on the offers. Breakfast is super, you order the food and they bring it to you , saves food waste and total gluttony. Best part was Georgina , who kept us fed and entertained with her great service and chat. Thanks For a great visit

This is a nice restaurant. Good selection of food , fairly priced too. The food was tasty. It was busy when we went and the atmosphere was great. The toilets were nice and clean

One of the nicest meals we've had out recently, food cooked perfectly, served up by very polite, attentive staff, had to name one as they were all great. The only small criticism is because it's school holidays, there were kids everywhere, playing like it was a playground in there, so we sat in the bar area hoping to avoid it a bit but to no prevail 😔 It's just a suggestion but I think the immediate bar area (where the TV is) should be made adult only so if you wanted to come in to have a quiet drink you can??? Apart from that, excellent meal, good value, (even though we had to ask for the value menu because they weren't allowed on the tables!) Great staff that deserve a pay rise 😁

We've been here for Breakfast a number of times when we stay at the Premier Inn. It's great value, and the food keeps coming out. Staff offer to warm up choc au pains for the children. Lovely help yourself breakfast. It's also decorated nice for Christmas.

I've been having breakfast here for all my visits now and can say a special thank you to Becky whom always makes you feel welcome and is friendly and professional and for the first time I have had dinner here tonight and again greated with a smile from Georgina very friendly and professional both women very hard working they both do so much there and deserve credit from the management and so do the rest of the woman staff whom are friendly and welcoming too. Top service great food and just to say be patient if your waiting to come in or calling as I've seen these woman do multiple jobs while working they will answer your call and will welcome you in.

From entering to leaving we were greeted, attended to and sent on our way with a big smile. All the staff were very chatty, polite and caring. The food was tasty, flavoursome and melt in the mouth meat and vegetables. So a big thank you to all the staff. And we will be back again for sure.

We were in Minehead for a family holiday over October half-term. We're always a little weary when going away for a holiday as our eldest is on the autistic spectrum and so often doesn't cope well with unfamiliar surroundings, especially in busy/crowded/noisy atmospheres. It was for this reason that we decided to dine outside of the normal 'meal-time' hours, in hopes that the restaurant would be a little quieter, and thankfully, we were right. We were greeted by a staff member called Georgina as soon as we entered the building, and were met with a smile and warmth immediately. I held back a little with our son, whilst my wife explained to Georgina a little about his autism and the needs that come with it - again, we're always a little weary as you never know what sort of reception you're going to get when divulging such information. To say we were offered nothing but kindness and a friendly rapport would be an understatement; Georgina was brilliant from start to finish. It wasn't just about the usual service you'd expect from anyone working in hospitality (which was exemplary from all staff members we came across!), but it was the little things that Georgina did to ensure that our son was as comfortable and happy as possible: sitting us on a big table so that he had plenty of room (despite the fact that we were only a family of 4), seating us in the quietist area of the restaurant so he wouldn't become too overwhelmed with lots of people and noise, making sure that his order of food (he has very basic and specific dietary requirements due to sensory issues) was exact and to his needs, and the most important thing - she took the time to speak to him and make him feel welcome. We know it may not seem like a huge deal, but it's quite surprising how many people avoid direct conversations with people with special needs - probably because they're fearful of saying the wrong thing etc., which is completely understandable. However, Georgina took the time to make our son feel included, to make him feel just like any other person she would come across in her day, and that meant the world to him and us. So much so, we booked in for another meal later in the week (at our son's request! Very rare occurrence!), and he was a little disappointed at first as Georgina wasn't working when we first arrived. However, she appeared when we were still eating our meal and, again, took the time to come and talk to us - our son was over-joyed that she'd remembered him! To conclude, as I mentioned before - all of the staff we came across were lovely, friendly, and extremely accommodating. We just wanted to highlight that Georgina really did go that extra mile. Also, the restaurant itself was clean with a relaxed atmosphere, the food was great quality, and the prices were really reasonable. Safe to say, we will be back on our next holiday!

We were there for a family birthday and had a wonderful evening. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.

We came here for tea whilst on holiday in the area and it was really great value and tasty. The children loved it and the staff were very friendly with the pub being very clean too. We even came back the following day for breakfast which was great value. Top notch grub at affordable prices 👍👍👍👍

I was on holiday with my family, and we thought a nice breakfast at brewers fayre would be perfect. We booked this meal many weeks in advance and as of this, we did not bring any breakfast items with us on holiday. We walked into the building and we waited to be served. The queue behind us was beginning to grow larger and larger, and yet, we still hadn't been served. It took approximately 10 minutes to someone to actually come up and bring us to our table. When we were greeted, we were greeted by someone who wasn't in uniform and looked rather scruffy and said to us that we had to wait a further 10 minutes, as our table hadn't even been cleaned yet, she then told us that there was no breakfast chef and that the menu was very limited, she told us this very last minute, with no notice whatsoever, so I had to take my family elsewhere. I was very disappointed with the service at the Minehead Brewers Fayre as the service at other Brewers Fayre locations has been much better. Very disappointing coming from a family favourite restaurant. ☹️

Came for breakfast this week whilst staying at Butlins, Georgina was absolutely brilliant and deserves so much recognition! She was the only staff member who was cheery in greeting us in the morning; helped out with my young son and his weetabix (he’s autistic and know we can get them here, there wasn’t any out and she hunted the whole place for some for him and didn’t huff and puff and groan like most people would have.) thank you so so much you really made they stay for us and I hope someone high up sees this and recognises how brilliant you are at what you do! Working in hospitality myself as a manager I know how hard it is to find staff like you! Xx

Worst breakfast ever burnt sausages snotty fried egg and bacon that you could resolve your shoes with not worth the money you might as well go to Tesco's cafe very poor.

Understaffed, But the staff that are working are really pleasant and friendly. Food was bulk standard nothing out of this world but all edible.

Turned up for a carvery at 16:00hrs to find that there wasn't hardly any vegetables and very little meat left. You advertise your carvery served until 18:00hrs.. So decided to have something off the menu. 30 minutes later, asked when will it be ready to be told 5 minutes. 20 minutes later we decided enough was enough and requested a refund just as the meals appeared. The excuse given was "staff shortage." Just tell the customer what's going on please!!!! Another gentleman told me that he had been waiting for an hour for his order...Never again!

Selection of food at an alright quality.

It seems all their restraints are very under staffed, 15 minutes wait to seen at entrance and then 20 minutes queuing to be served, and then a long wait for your meal, not good

Pretty awful to be honest, wouldn’t go back ever! Ridiculous portions for the prices everything looked frozen and waited over 45 mins just for the food to bad , they forgot items of of the kids meal,really really disappointed just avoid this place all together .p.s I don’t normally leave reviews but this place was that bad I had to !

Went here for a meal on 30/09/23 got here at 17:35 ordered drinks and was expected to pay 2,85 for a small glass of coke, but paid for a 473 ml so had to go ask why the shortfall and was told new menu so wonder how many other people paid 2,85 for a 1/4 pint of coke, we eventually got food 55 mins later, and that was so so as I had the smothered platter bacon was burned egg rock hard, my wife had the chicken tikka and that came out without any poppadoms , so had to ask where they were, grandson had the steak burger and the chips were like cardboard, it’s as thought all the meals had been under heat lamps waiting to come out, still here waiting for grandson’s dessert to arrive been waiting 35 mins already, so if they are short staffed why not tell people when they turn up

Staff service excellent ,friendly, clean, food quality excellent

service extremely slow. huge queue to order food, not enough staff. prices very cheap but very poor quality food that was very overcooked and dry. if you drown everything in ketchup it is almost edible.

Had a family meal here, mine was nice but my husband's and mums was very small, took a while to come out and they weren't very busy, think my 4 year old daughter got more food than her dad did

Been going since it first opened but this time was not up to standards. Not enough staff to cater to customer needs. My partners food was burnt. The salads wasnt very fresh and it took nearly an hour for desserts, in which i had to ask for. There was one waitress who was soing her upmost best running around endlessly but sadly thats not good enough with so amny dinners waiting on food.

Went 4 my birthday my chicken was burnt on the bottom. Had to wait 40 mins for our desserts that was after my partner had to ask. Only one waitress 4 the hole restaurant not good if under staff they should of Limited bookings it will be a long time until we will return as we felt 4gotten about.

Called in for breakfast having dropped wife off at Minehead hospital, next door, for op. Food trays were almost empty. Chose my food. Found it only warm. Should have returned it to counter but was hungry and in a hurry. Only 6 out of ten, this time. Keith Rudyard

We stayed at the Premier Inn before heading over to Butlins for the Leicester Tigers rugby tour. Breakfast was booked with the only slot available being 10:30. The majority of the food had gone, there was no juice left, and no cups or glasses. The coffee ran out, which left people queuing for 20mins for coffee and cups. The food that was available was mediocre, and mostly warm, the bread for toast had already started to go hard. Service could do with being improved and having someone to do stock checks would help.

Came here for a Bank Holiday lunch and had a great experience. Friendly service and attentive - thanks Helen - plus the food was good and freshly cooked. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a nightmare here. Felt sorry for the waitress who was very good. Our order was messed up from start to finish.

Absolutely amazing there. The restaurant is modern, clean and very appealing. The food was really good, well cooked and beautifully presented. We found the staff welcoming and very friendly. Unfortunately we don't live in the area or we woild be very regular customers. We are on holiday from Kent and there is no Brewers fayre in our area anywhere near as good. A special thanks to Lilly our server who was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to you all.

I came on a holiday and I had a ultimate filled Yorkshire and the chocolate brownie, the gravy was the best I've ever had, and i have gravy from lots of restaurants. Everything was cooked perfectly. The brownie was soft, crunchy and gooey. Overall a 5/5 and i wish i had one neat my house.

Took daughter partner and sister to Brewers fayre Minehead today. We had a Sunday Carvery. It was the best we all have ever had. Amazing selection of meat and fresh vegetables. We had a waiter named Simon. He was extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the Carvery. Cant wait to go again!!

Portion size has gone from nouvelle cusine to good sized portions. New menu is great too. Good prices and still a great menu

On arrival we were actively discouraged not to take up our reservation as the wait in the kitchen was long. Asked if we could simply take a portion of bread and butter for our 1year old twins while the adults order and wait and we were told that it was simply not possible to prioritise and that a simple bread and butter would take an hour 🤷‍♂️

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and the food was enjoyable

Food was fairly good although a lot was out of stock. We enjoyed ourselves and the staff were nice but there was way to few of them. Only 4 servers running around. We had food missing on multiple occasions and had to wait to even find someone to let them know. Overall though our waitress, Laura, was super friendly and helpful and did her best. Deffo need more staff!

We had a table of 12 and they did a good job, the was alright too.

Very busy when we arrived and hadn't booked. Booked table on arrival and waited at bar with drink. Waitress who took our booking forgot us, so we had to ask her if our table was ready when quite a lot of tables had become free. Lots of others complaining about wait for food. We were warned it would be 40 mins, but actually wasn't that long. Fish pie for me, macaroni cheese for partner. Both quite nice.
