Brewers Fayre Crooked Glen in Fife

Went here for my breakfast whilst staying at the adjacent Premier Inn. Breakfast was self service. Only took scrambled egg from the cooked buffet which was rather solid and lukewarm. Staff rather disinterested in customers.

Brewers Fare The working team were very good but there were 2 off duty kitchen staff always going into kitchen shouting swearing drunk been there since 5 pm still there 8 pm loud swearing arguing not very nice to see started arguing and fighting with each other other at the bar Very disappointed One of the guys was Pedro and Peter the manager on duty was Lesley Was refused by a member of staff more drinks but still received more drinks given and more arguments Not very good service

The staff are friendly. The food was lovely, we had the value lunch deal which is good value for money. It is a handy location just off the M90.

My 4 year old loves it here, good pub food, prices are very reasonable ,staff are always very friendly and helpful as well ,We will be back again

The batter is soft It isn't hygienic Chips aren't nice Service isn't good There isn't enough staff at the tills People who work here needs to do there jobs properly

Great service by grace in Dunfermline Would like to see the battered fish with no skin on, can’t believe they are still selling it never experienced this before.

They advertise breakfast till 11am at the weekend. I went in at 10.15 and was told breakfast was finished. I said it shows they do breakfast to 11am and just got a no, breakfast has finished response. There was still people eating and some buffet breakfast food still out.

During my 2 week stay Elaine was very welcoming and attentive to all guests at breakfast. Everything was always fully stocked, tables cleared and cleaned regularly. Elaine is an Asset to the hotel/restaurant . Her absence was certainly noticeable on her days off. This is when I had to ask for scrambled eggs, told there wasn’t any even although there were fried eggs??? Ask for the coffee machine to be filled, ask for fruit??? This could be a make or break for short stays! Need to take a leaf out of Elaine’s book there dear!

Very busy evening for Valentines Day but Grace looked after us throughout and made it a very special evening for us both. Hang onto Grace ... she is definitely your secret weapon. Thank you Grace. You're a star. X

Absolute joke of a place came in an hour and ten minutes before they closed and they said it was closed even though they were there with another 10 people and they even laughed at us as they were having there own party don't go there at any cost rude ,abnoctious and I'm being very polite with that unlike the terrible staff please avoid at all cost

Went with kids and the staff were amazing and accommodating especially Kayleigh P. Best place to take the kids to play and for delicious food.

Ideal place for a catch up lunch with friends. Plenty parking, handy location, good food and Grace our server was extremely helpful and very cheerful.

We have visited crooked Glen multiple times over the last few years mostly to use the soft play facilities which are pretty cheap. However the facilities are the poorest I’ve seen ever. Everything feels sticky, tables in play area, the door to the toilets, the floors. In the toilets there are broken tissue holders, no soap (a single alcohol gel only) & an overflowing bucket set up beside the sinks. The carpets are in need of the biggest deep clean ever my kids socks are completely black. We have previously eaten here but honestly I don’t think I could stomach it as the place doesn’t feel in the slightest bit clean and it makes me concerned about the food hygiene because of that. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the place will make me think twice about coming back.

This was an excellent restaurant to visit staff were very friendly and attentive, did not have to wait long for each course and food was freshly cooked and piping hot, this restaurant has restored my confidence in brewers fayre after 2 bad visits to my local back home.
