Breakfast club in Crawley

The Full Monty gets you: - 1 x sausage 2 x bits of streaky bacon (hard and tasteless) 2 x soft fried eggs (yolks hard) 1 x slice of black pudding (thin and dried out ) 1 x pot of baked beans (about 3 teaspoons) 1x hash brown (dried out) 1 portion fried potatoes (hard and dried out) 1 portion mushrooms (dried out) 1 x slice off toast with liquified butter from being keep near hot shelf. EIGHTEEN (18) POUNDS!! No servers to take order, use the app. Shown to table. Plates brought and removed. Smiles and hello’s? No. Unbelievably bad food and Incredibly bad value. Should have complained but too British, we just accept rubbish.

Decided to give this a go as usually go to Jupiter. We only had to wait a minute or two before being seated. This was around 8am on a Monday and there was around 10 tables with people, the rest was empty. We ordered the Greasy Spoon & Grand Royale Benedict with a Breakfast Tea & Hot Chocolate using the app. The food came quite quick about 7 minutes from ordering to plates arriving. However, the tea & chocolate took so long, I had to ask a server if it had been forgotten. They told us it was coming and miraculously within 3 minutes it arrived. But by the time it arrived, we had almost finished eating our breakfast! This left a disappointing taste in our mouths and we will not be going back.

Terrible service . No interest at all in serving the customers . Service charge was added to add insult to injury . Food was just passable . Grossly overpriced . A legacy of the 70 s and80 s . Needs to be closed down and replaced with a modern day facility where value and customers are put first . One to miss

What an airport Breakfast Club gains in speed, it loses in quality. No need for human interaction, as you are unceremoniously dumped at a table and your trusty waiter QR Code will look after you. My breakfast looked and tasted like it had been cooked in a different airport, with hard fried eggs and beans which were last warm several hours before. Drinks arrived just as we were finishing and when we asked for some tap water, we were provided glasses that were so fresh out of the dishwasher, they were still wet - and volcanically hot. Maybe they should cook the beans in there.

Lovely and kind young blond lady with nice red lip stick ....( Rebecca I guess ) .. That's all the positive. quick service ... Too quick .... PANCAKES..... Cold ! Beacon 2 pieces 3 cm X 0.5 cm .....cold ! No butter to be seen.... after I received my food I had to wait for my latte 5 minutes.... It arrived tiepid Bill: 18.50 pounds ????!?!?! I saw kids menu being served bigger than mine and. Che k the price less expensive than mine !!!!! what ?? I was looking forward to having a nice warm breakfast 🥞 ..... GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT.... NO VALUE FOR MONEY AND NO NICE FOOD EITHER !!!!! I wanted to tip Rebecca but was soooo shocked for the price of beacon 2.5 pounds and the cold food I didn't despite not even being her fault !!!!

Went for breakfast, however, my flight was called! One staff knkwn as Giffty was there and packed my meal I took it to my gate and enjoyed it. Thank you Giffty you give the Breakfast Club a great image.

Awful service. Didn’t get as far as eating as the staff member we encountered was very standoffish and rude. What a way to treat customers - snappy and horrible so we just got up and left.

This was possibly the worst breakfast I have ever had. Soggy brioche bun with hard unripe avocado and a flat egg which had been described as an omelette .. never found the cheese. The best bit was the 2 hashbrowns balanced on the side of the small plate which were at least hot and crispy. I was charged £15 for this atrocity as well. My advice is find sonewhere else in Gatwick for your breakfast. Wish I had.

Well, the truth is that if I'd written this review after my first visit there, it would have been totally brilliant, but what a difference three weeks can make. After many visits to the now tired w#@×"%spoons there, we decided to give it a go here. Like said staff were brilliant, the food was excellent on our first visit. I'm not going to complain about the food, but there were two waitresses working, I'm using that term generously, to say the least, they made the whole experience from three ordering to the attitude they gave off. I hadn't been looking forward to my holiday one, or both of them would have ended up wearing our breakfasts. Take note, if you wake up in a bad mood, leave it at home. If a customer pisses you off, smile and walk away, even curse then in your head. Do not make your next or any other customer your revenge victim. Summary: Food is great, waitress service terrible. Also, if someone has special diet issues, they are not awkward because they are not using your QR service. You're there to work, not antagonise.

Decent food at airport prices and service was good but the piped music was at a ridiculously high volume and gave me a headache which went once I left

The Service is quick, but therein lies the problem. The food is sat under a heat lamp and tepid. For £40+ for 2 people, the food should be freshly cooked, not grabbed from under lamp. Very disappointing, but the Chicken burger was tasty, if barely warm. This is a poor business model. Stop stacking food under heat lamps, especially if the restaurant is not even a third full. No need. People would rather fresh food. Will not be coming back here when I fly in Fedruary 25.

I was very disappointed for the Gluten Free options. It was dismissive service to start with, but then when I asked for Gluten Free help it was even more so. You can have the vegan breakfast only. No suggestions for swapping out the meat substitutes so I could have bacon etc. It was that or nothing. Also, getting our drinks took a very long time which was annoying on top of an already bad experience. Also, don’t go with more than 4 people, you are treated as crazy if you want to sit together, even though it wasn’t that busy!

The service was appalling, the food was cold and the staff were either texting on their mobiles or they were no where to be seen

Visited here like everyone else who was waiting for a flight. Welcome host was not very welcoming, showed us to our table and then was really put out when we asked to be served rather than order using a QR code and phones. Drinks arrived, which were clearly our order, but the waitress was confused as we’d ordered 4 drinks (2 wines and 2 diet cokes) and refused to believe she was at the right table. Food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. It was clear with was all pre cooked. I had butter milk chicken over a muffin with poached eggs on top. The muffin appeared really stale, the chicken was thigh. The only thing good was the eggs were well poached though. The greasy spoon mini breakfast was 100% greasy. The sausages were cheap, streaky bacon was dry and fried eggs had a skin formed on the yolks. Clearly precooked under hot lamps. Go careful with the bill. They add 12.5% service charge and we paid in total £63.56 for what was not a good experience. This placed used to be Jamie’s and was much better than this.

Either too few staff or too little motivation…you are instructed to wait for a staff member to take you to a table. I waited I waited some more I walked away There are other choices!!!

How on earth can somewhere calling itself the breakfast club have no jam or marmalade? "Oh sorry none of the restaurants in our chain do" was the comment of the manageress. Otherwise very poor quality ingredients (eggs must have been from bantams they were so tiny) tepid/cold when delivered and severely overpriced for what you get. All in all one to avoid

Fast food in gatwick and it wasvl indeed served fast by the staff. A large nd then an even larger breakfast for us. Sausage and bacon were the base with other bits added Luke potatoes mushroom etc. Of average quality. Annoying bits were no large wate4 and so more expensive smaller bottles at £3 each! Added 12 5% service charge without offering us the choice, meaning two meals and a fee drinks came to over£50.

Our server Kathleen was super friendly. She’s awesome and the food was delicious. The shakshuka was surprisingly big and tasty!

Stopped off at TBC at a (shocking time) with the children and in - laws . Kids were very grumpy, any parents Holiday reality, but they fell in love with Charlie , she was perfect ! So attentive and patient with our needs and Fussiness. Good veggie options too for mother-in-law we were worried about her choices but we needn't have been . I had lunch here and I was impressed with the service since I could quickly order using the QR code and food arrived in only 7 minutes which was perfect since I had to catch a flight. I ordered the redefined meat burger (in the picture) thinking that it was just a name for a beef burger. The fries were great and the burger tasted fairly good but I thought the consistency was unusual and maybe it had been overcooked. Halfway through my burger I checked with the waitress and she told me that it was actually a plant based burger. I made her notice that there was no vegan/vegetarian/plant based indication on the online menu so she apologised and offered to bring a new burger, which I rejected since I had no time. I just wish I knew it was plant based, so I would have picked a different option!

Exactly what I needed at 4am, don’t know how I missed this place, GIFTY was great and the he food is always great! If you know, you know.

Although the food wasn’t very nice or hot, gifty was a great host and ensured we had a decent experience at the breakfast club, I applaud her customer service skills!

Gifti was funny and approachable and listened to our orders. She had an infectious smile and I personally think whatever you’re doing when hiring staff is working. She is so kind, please make sure she knows this
