A pleasant bar with entertainment for children and bingo. Good if you need the take a break from the hustle and bustle of the larger sites.

Amazing food, entertainment & hospitality. Had an evening meal (steak & ale pie), so delicious. Also had a Sunday carvery & it was the most tastiest & the most meat on a carvery we have ever had.

Cracking place really good food and clean staff are friendly get yourself a steak n ale pie lovely will definitely be eating here again

Please be careful when ordering from the menu as twice we have been charged more than it actually says on the menu, the first occasion my daughter was charged over £15 for a large prawn salad which is not even advertised on the menu the one on the menu is £8.95 and the second time we ordered a large lasagne and it says comes with chips or salad when I questioned the price they said you need to pay extra £3 for chips which is not stated on the menu it also came with garlic bread again not stated on the menu so be careful when ordering and question the price if you think you have been overcharged, the food is good and good portion sizes the ploughman's is excellent value, we enjoyed our meals but menu needs to be changed to make things clear so you know exactly what you are getting.

Super food and service. The only outlet open because of the close season. Not a problem, we were made to feel most welcome and felt like we were important to the staff ..A 4 day off season break was made terrific by great service and food. Entertainment was most welcome considering low attendance because of a March midweek trip. What a fabulous job done by everyone.... even saw Chunky..!

Fab food!! Eaten twice this week. Portions enormous. So second time had what my mum had which was chicken nuggets off the kiddies menu best nuggets I've ever had the staff were lovely great place to visit

Wow, what can I say we are running a motorhome rally at Brean Unity Resort and need to mention the dedication of the staff who have gone over and beyond to make sure our visit is memorable. Firstly a big thank you to Sara for arranging with Carl for Breakers Bar to open an hour earlier so that we could hold our welcome meeting. Secondly Sara and Tash came in on their days off to help behind the bar, also a big thank you to Crystal who kept us all fed and watered. Unity Brean must be proud to employ staff like this who go above and beyond their normal duties. Once again a big thank you from the West Country Motor Caravan Club.

Stayed in brean for the weekend to watch Bridgewater carnival, went swimming on the Sunday then straigh here for lunch. Waited for the doors to open right on 12pm went straight to the bar & ordered drinks & carvery tickets. All the staff were very nice and polite/ friendly, the carvery chef was very welcoming and amazing at his job. The food was absolutely 💯 👌. All fresh tasty lovely fresh thick gravy. Don't massively write reviews but had to for this place! This will now be our go to for sunday lunch when down brean ( used to be the beachcomber).

Went for Sunday Carvery 1.15 . 20 minutes in the bar queue to get carvery ticket. The queue for carvery was horrendously slow more staff needed . But, people told us that carvery is good. Sadly there was only one meat available by the time we got to be served. If the carvery is so popular more meat joints should be cooked. On taste/quality it was average to most carvery's . So will not go again feel too much time wasted when you could be enjoying moms Sunday time out for lunch

Absolute disgrace, waited an hour and half for food. Cutlery was eventually brought to the table with an apology and our food would arrive in 5 minutes. Another 15 minutes passed before we were informed that they never had the food for our order . We ordered through the App on the table, only to given the excuse the App doesn't update that quickly.

Went to Breakers this evening to take part in the evening entertainment and to have refreshments. We had to request tables to be cleaned before we could sit down. We ordered food and drinks at the bar. We were Looking forward to taking part in...

Called in for food last night, Breakers as just had a complete refurbishment, first class job throughout. Food is still as good as it's always been. We will be returning all through the season. Great place.

The new Breakers in Brean is lovely, great refurbishment and really nice and friendly staff. The Sunday roast is delicious, well presented and served by a proud chef who loves his food and served with a smile. Excellent customer experience.

We stopped here for lunch on the first day of staying in a local caravan site. Our 5yo daughter loved the play area and the entertainment machines. She popped a £1 in the Sooty machine which makes the characters dance and a keyring is supposed to pop out. Unfortunately it didn't come out and when we reported to bar staff, they brought out a box for our daughter to choose from so that she didn't miss out. The food itself was very reasonably priced and the meals were large. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The staff are all really friendly; one member of staff accidently knocked my drink over (these things happen) but promptly replaced it. I will come here again when we return to Brean

Visited in our first night in Brean, and had to return again before we left. Lovely home cooked food, piping hot. First night we sat outside so our 7 year old can play in the little park, second time a little wet for that. Pay at the bar for food, then order number taken to your table awaiting the arrival of food, both times approximately 45-60 wait but was told at ordering that this would be the case as all tables full. We had kids nuggets, sausage, new yorker, lasagne, gammon and steak. All come recommended by us ;-)

Our favourite spot for a bite and a pint in town. Good service, the lady in there on Saturday was lovely, good choice of beers, lagers and ciders, something for everyone on the menu. They don't skimp on the kids portions either, which is always a bonus

Came in here a few times whilst staying locally. The food was very tasty, reasonably priced and well presented. There were lots of COVID restrictions in place, but at times, especially in the evenings, the security staff had to really work hard as some people just didn't think it applied to them.During the day, the garden was very busy, but too many dogs in an area that had lots of families and young children running about. This made it difficult at times for staff carrying food and drinks to the outside tables.

We went yesterday early evening to an almost empty place . Asked if we were from their site ,as were only allowing these people to come in and eat and drink. However the place was nearly empty with 12 spaced tables and no one seated ....only four people were seated and we would make it 7 ......This is not the way to trade out of this Covid crisis when spaced tables would allow another 30/35 people to eat in safety.....Too little thought and too much over bearing staff....

Rang when it was ready to be collected lovely service polite staff Food was amazing as always. Normally call in for a Carvery but due to Covid unable to. But so glad they do the takeaway Carvery. We phoned and ordered 5 Sunday lunches as I’ve heard good things. Was not disappointed, had a phone call when it was ready to collect. The portions are large and just beautiful. Lots of veg and roasters. Meat was cooked to perfection. Not a bad word to say. Would definitely recommend 5*.

Food was at a high standard and presented well. All staff were friendly. Will be returning soon highly recommend!!

we staying on brightholme been visiting breakers everyday. Staff are so friendly . Home cooked food is just amazing. Sunday dinners in which u have to book at the minute and take it away are the best. Well worth the money there huge. Due to covid they have put everything in place to keep everyone safe including there staff. Well done. Best place to eat and drink in brean i think. U wont be disappointed.

The food here is always delicious and very reasonably priced, we love eating here when we are in Brean. The service is excellent and the staff there very friendly and we enjoyed taking part in the Country and Western nigh’s trilogies

After a long wait during covid we finally got back here again and it's been way too long.Same staff amazing food as ever and fully covid compliant so felt safe here with family.Congratulations to the management and staff for implementing all the covid safe policies so that customers can return and supplying us all with take aways in the mean time so we didn't miss the food so much.5 stars as ever Ty Kara and Karl

We use breakers bar every time we are in Brean which is most weekends and have used it for years The food is always amazing the quality and service is always second to none Infact most of our family only visit Brean toCome and have a meal and drinks here The friendliness staff As well that always make you feel welcome Cannot recommend breakers enough

This has been our favourite place to eat in Brean for years. Staff are always so welcoming and you are guaranteed wonderful food. This week we have returned for the first time following their reopening after the pandemic. The food was as fabulous as ever but what was even more impressive was their approach to customer safety. It is so well organised in there, we felt completely safe and looked after. It’s reassuring to know some places are perfectly balancing the need to get life closer to the ‘new normal’ with keeping themselves and their customers safe

Always very friendly, decent food at reasonable prices. During the country and western festival they also have live music. There is also a nice outdoor seating area for the better weather

We have been coming to Brean on and off for many years and this was the first time we have had food from here. What a little hidden Gem we had an adult fish chips and mushy peas, a child’s version, a bacon and cheese burger and a salmon with peas and new potatoes. All food was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. We would definitely recommend you visit here at least once during your holiday.

Breakers it’s just across from Brean leisure Park which is great if you’re looking for a cheap but good meal after you’ve had some fun in the park. The food is amazing amazing reasonably priced and they have a large variety on the menu. There is also an outdoor play area outside sitting area of bar and free Wi-Fi this is the perfect place to go for lunch or the evening as they have great entertainment. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody

We've been here many times for their lovely food. Last week I tried the home made faggots but previously we had a carvery with them the food was nice but the wait was too long!!

the holiday park itself is quite small and there is no onsite shop however there is a restuarant. it is about a 3 minute walk straight to the beach which was beautifully and clean. very dog friendly holiday.

I’ve got to say this game is one of the best bars in Brean for food. I’ve not had a bad meal yet. The quality & quantity of food is amazing, so you can imagine how busy it can get. The Sunday Carvery is amazing but you’ve got to be pre paired to wait as it sooo popular. The entertainment on Friday & Saturday nights are always good too. It’s a proper family place to be. With out side seating & a little play area for the kids so everyone is happy. All the Staff are really friendly Sue & Rob do a great Job at running a very busy ship & Carl behind the bar is great and always helpful. We love it Thanks to everyone at Breakers for some memorable times.

Been coming here for last five years spend roughly £50 every night of our 1 week stay twice a year.Food was very poor customer service has gone downhill really fast.Will not be returning it's a shame but it's a lot of money to spend and not get quality. Waitress did say shall I get manager when we complained but 2 attempts to get meal right forget it spend money elsewhere. So we did. Avoid

Good quality food at an affordable price. Entertainment can be a distraction from a quiet family evening, but heh your on holiday. Staff friendly and welcoming.

we booked a Caravan on Brightholme Park it belongs to Caroline and it's no 64. A beautiful Caravan, very clean inside and out, good location, a real home from home holiday. We totally loved it, comfortable seating and we slept like logs in a very comfortable bed. Free Wi Fi, TV etc fully fitted with all you need for eating in, a few books and games and a neat little car parking space alongside.

Very disappointing scruffy outside seating, and like a bun fight for the Carvery which looked good but didn’t want to que for that long

We have been away for the week and only found this place on the last evening! Wow what a find! The restaurant was great the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and I would strongly recommend the faggots! They were sensational!! We will return on our next visit for sure!!

We were stopping at the Unity holiday park. But decided to have a evening meal at the Breakers bar and restaurant down the road which is part of the Brightholme holiday park. We all had steak and kidney pie and mash. It was delicious and good value for money. The atmosphere was relaxed and very family friendly. The hosts were all very nice and friendly. We would definitely be back again.

Food was of excellent quality but a bit over priced if you are travelling with children, everybody i spoke with recommended the sunday carvery but unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to try it.

We had a great evening meal. We didn’t get to the restaurant until just before service was due to end but the food was top quality. We have been back on several occasions and the staff have been fantastic each time, there is a great atmosphere and great entertainment

We’ve been coming to Brean for years and used to use another restaurant which we are no longer happy with so on the lookout for a new place to eat we tried here. We were not disappointed here, there’s a good range on the menu and the food was nice with a decent size portion - we will be back for sure.

Came down to see my partners parents who were staying in brean for the weekend and came in here for lunch, I had a southern fried chicken wrap with bacon and my partner had a breakfast sandwhich, only waited about 20-30mins which is ok and the wrap was lovely, his sandwhich he said was lovely.

We used to be devotees of the Seagull but it's gone down hill, but now we are totally smitten with Breakers, food amazing, staff really nice, nice place to eat, thank heavens we can eat here instead of having to cook at home, fantastic.

Instead of cooking we decided to visit Breakers for tea. As usual not disappointed. Excellent service and great food.

We all had steaks, all cooked perfectly and come with all the trimmings, way too much for me but all in all excellent value for the money. Staff could have smiled a bit more.

Special thanks to Sue and all the staff at Breakers. Sue fitted a big party of us in at the last minute. Some of our group have allergies/dietary requirements and we had no issues whatsoever in ordering food to suit us, any queries into allergens were talked through with us clearly and concisely. Our food was all served at the same time (no mean feat when there were 24 of us to serve and it was busy anyway). The portions were generous and food was good quality and delicious. Bar and waiting staff excellent. Lovely atmosphere with Elton John tribute. Thanks for a great night.

Visited for family Sunday carvery, was the nicest carvery we’ve ever eaten, all the food was fresh and hot and the meat and gravy were stunning. The staff were also great and really friendly. Special mention to the guy serving the food Kev, he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Thank you.

Called in today for sunday lunch carvery... not been in a few years, and was not disappointed!!! Carvery is the best I have had in years.....better than anywhere else in Brean...and good value for money...its packed there with locals using it too.

The food was pretty good in relation to the other resturants we went to in Brean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most of the pubs I really would not return to but this one I would.

Visited here on a weekend evening during a stay in the local area. Food was excellent - well cooked and tasty. Great service. Nice atmosphere with some great entertainment. Will definitely be visiting again.

Was here august bank holiday watching a very good Michael Jackson tribute family and grand children when out the blue a Welsh caravan owner took offence for us sitting at there regular table say they had been there 13 years so sad and rude we usually visit every year but if that's the type of people they let buy caravans there I would avoid

We have visited breakers bar on several occasions and every time we have been the food has been excellent it's always served nice and hot the staff are great and always smiling definitely are favourite place to eat in brean and I think alot of people would agree as it's always busy very highly recommended you won't be disappointed!!!

We always eat here when staying in Brean, food lovely & staff always helpful, need to get in early as the restaurant is extremely popular - would definitely recommend.

As always excellent food and service. We visited for our daughters 18th birthday and were treated politely, bar staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed at brean sands for the first week of July, it can only be described as a “lively “ place most of the restaurants were busy with obtrusive music but breakers bar was an oasis! Food was excellent home cooked style good portions and the service was very good. The staff were very polite and friendly drinks very reasonable too they also do a Sunday carvery if you visit brean try it you won’t be disappointed.
