Let's start at the beginning, if you have a sign that says "the best burger in Scotland" the expectation is high! I ate the flagship of the menu, the "wolf" and the flavors are confused, you can't feel the flavor of the meat because it is covered by the shredded pork... A shame! On the other hand, it's not cheap and it doesn't even come with fries. Surely other things on the menu will be better, but I was left wanting 😞

Used to love their Lothian Rd restaurant. Tried the North Bridge one a couple years later and now it just seems the quality and burger sizes have decreased and price increased. We had a truffle shuffle and black n blue burger, shared a "large" fries, and 1 and 1/2 pints of lager. The burgers were average and the fries felt like a small portion. £50 for that. Sorry can't recommend when there's so many great burger places around .

The truffle shuffle burger and salad with grated cheese was really good! I've been to the other Brea Meats Bread branch in Edinburgh before but I gotta say this one can even be better (and the other one wasn't that bad either)!

Luthor Burger was amazing. The sweetness of the donuts compliments the savoriness of the ingredients/patty so well. Their other burgers were alright nothing amazing or upsetting about them.

The hamburgers were very tasty, especially if you go at lunch time, the lunch menu was very affordable and delicious.

Food quality was good. Burgers were delicious and juicy but on the plate it was just a burger. Nor fries no salad. Nothing. We and our guests were left hungry. Kids portions were nice. They also had a dessert. Service and staff were nice. Just wasn’t satisfied as burgers were small and no sides.

Really fast service. Delicious food, varied menu. Good selection of drinks. Slightly pricey but definitely tasted better than other cheaper major fast food burger establishments. Atmosphere may have been a bit dampened due to noisy roadworks outside, but the staff were friendly and the music was a decent volume for chatting. Toilets were down a lot of stairs which was no problem for us, but worth mentioning for anyone with mobility needs.

Burger restaurant near the old town, with a varied menu for all tastes. Beef, chicken, pork and vegetarian available. We had the lunch menu + dessert each for £46. The portions are average sizes but the quality of the products is worth the price. The apple pie was really excellent.

The service is not appropriate to take a tip included in the ticket of no less than 6 pounds. Overrated. Delicious but small burger without fries. They bring you ketchup in little jars, it's not convenient.

At the time of ordering, we asked the waitress to alert us if the dishes contained pork or alcohol. She reminded us that they use the same grill for burgers including pork, and asked us to choose from fried chicken only. Please be careful and never be embarrassed to ask about anything related to halal.

Ordered a takeaway, the truffle shuffle chicken burger and it wasn't the best sandwich. Chicken was rather dry and underseasoned. Service was very fast though. Im not writing it off just yet given how fast and attentive they were and will try something else. Ill update this if it changes my initial review.

Great burger. Early evening and with construction along the street, not the easiest place to get to. But extremely flavorful and well constructed burger. Service was attentive but not cloying. Full bar. A great alternative between pubs, fast food, and more formal restaurants.

The best gluten free burger I have ever had, and the service was fantastic!

We have been waiting for more than 15 minutes and nobody took our order, and someone entered after us and they took his order and ignored us even when we called them but no response!!!!

Their burgers are quite delicious. It is sufficient in size. Potatoes are the same way. Their own beers don't have much specialness.

It says buy 1 get 1 free on the classic burgers. I never got the free burgers. My refund is being sorted. Shame.

Beef Burger was absolutely delicious! Ordered Buffalo Chicken Bites as well, but they tasted rather sour than spicy.

Fantastic burgers, juicy and delicious.

We had high hopes for this place. They do gluten free buns and chips. The chips were pretty good. The burger itself was disappointing. I suspect low quality meat is used and it had no flavor. Bottom part of bun was soggy. Overall a disappointment. Service was good though.

Popped in for quick drink and light meal, but was underwhelmed with our food. My partner ordered the garlic & parmesan fries but looked & tasted more like cheddar cheese. The katsu poutine was also underwhelming, considering the price. Waitress added the 10% service fee without asking, which was ridiculous. A positive to end on, the restaurant was nice and clean

Since we are always looking for gluten-free food, we came to the right place. Fast service, delicious food, great all-round package. Maybe the tables need to be reworked again, they were already very sticky. But it doesn’t make the burgers any worse 😊

Food was quite nice. Bill is def a moden type rip-off. 10% "Opt. Service Charge" is added without customers consent. I didn´t agree on this and got a new bill. (see pics).

Good experience. Delicious food, very good and fast service. The atmosphere is good but nothing out of this world. We found the prices expensive compared to other food places in the area and we only ordered chicken burgers.

The Bread Meats Bread restaurant is a chain, we went to the one in the city center, it’s open till late and has many tables, there are many options in burgers and we tried the cheesecake too, we liked it. Service is fast and prices not that bad, they add a 10% tip without asking though.

Honestly, the restaurant is beautiful and sweet In the beginning, when we arrived, perhaps because we came to Weekend, it was a little crowded, but the reception was good, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, then we entered. There were two types of requests The first is the Sunshine on beef burger The second lil Kim burger The first was bitterly beautiful, the second in the middle of the mob bitterly The burger has a slight heat sensation, but the taste is nice Finally, I thank Anna for the service Thank you Anna ☺️

A sign on the top of the restaurant’s door says: (Scotland’s best burger). You know what? That is right! The place is very welcoming with a nice atmosphere and very good attendances. The burgers are super tasty, I tried the Sunshine on Beef burger and it was juicy and delicious.. they also have Halloumi sticks, something unusual in such places but it turned out great, especially with Scottish Irn Bru 😊 One thing I loved the most is their super quick service.. I barely waited for a few minutes before receiving the order. I highly recommend the restaurant if you are in Edinburgh.

Absolutely amazing food, best customer service I’ve experienced in years! Staff are amazing and attentive, the service is quick and kind. Table of 6 on a Saturday night and we were sat together and quickly. As someone from the great north the poutine was spot on!!! Definitely coming back 🖤

The hamburgers are very good, but it would be nice if they gave you the option to choose if you leave a tip and the amount you want to leave... not that they impose it on you

A great time at Bread Meats Bread in Edinburgh! The burgers are very good and the fries excellent, with quality ingredients. The service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is great in a pleasant setting. I highly recommend it for a gourmet break and I recommend the chocolate tart which was incredible.

Great gluten free / coeliac experience. Not often the bread is as tasty as the burgers but here it is. Great service putting us at ease and even a cheeky Joker IPA which is GF on the menu. Definitely one for the return list.

I recently visited Bread Meats Bread, and while the food was served hot and tasty, I found the prices to be quite steep. Fries and sauces were extras that needed to be paid for separately, which added up quickly. I ordered the buffalo poutine, and though it was a large portion, £15 still felt expensive. Overall, the quality was good, but the high prices made it less enjoyable.

Great burgers very nice, we tried the Black and Blue, a Bacon Brunch burger, and the Phillycheese burger, all really good, sadly served with a supposedly large portion of very salty fries, a little overpriced for what you get, but worth a try. 10% service charge is included in your bill, which shouldn't be..... Let the customer decide! Very good of the waitress for informing us before paying.

From the moment we entered the door until the moment we left we had outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious and well priced and the restaurant had a great vibe to it. It was a great end to our awesome visit to Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area as it was superb.

Not only did it taste good, but the staff service was the best during my trip to the UK. I was grateful to the male employee who looked like Frozen Christopher! And this restaurant is on the 7th floor outside Edinburgh Station? You have to go up some stairs to get out.

Came my here of a recent weekend break to Edinburgh with some friends. We were warmly welcomed upon entering and shown to a table. The service throughout was attentive but not overbearing! We went during late lunch time, so it was quite quiet. We all enjoyed our meals! I ordered the moving mountains burger, but asked this to be relaxed to a vegetarian burger as opposed to vegan, which was accommodated with no problem. Our food came out quickly and was piping hot. I really enjoyed the tater tots, which were a nice change for fries! They were super crispy (albeit a couple at the bottom of the dish) and had a nice oniony flavour, like any good hash brown. The burger was nicely cooked and the cheesy wonderfully melty. I really loved the seeded bun, which was very fresh and had been lightly toasted on the inside, providing additional texture and flavour. I also feel our meals were quick reasonably priced as we got them as part of the lunch time deal - I'd advise asking for this menu if you go during the week at lunch time, otherwise you might end up spending more than you could be! I'd highly recommend giving Bread Meats Bread a visit 🙂

We were welcomed by kind and helpful staff who consulted the kitchen several times to try to satisfy our needs caused by food intolerances. Sandwiches perhaps a little small in size but many rich in ingredients inside, which still gave a sense of fullness and flavour. In the photo there is one of the Vegan Sandwiches tasted, perhaps the one with the least ingredients inside causes allergens. Perhaps the price is a little too high for the offer.

The food was absolutely great! The marky mark burger had a lot of great tasting meat and it all tasted good however the fries were a bit underwhelming. It seems to be a common theme that everything here is overpriced which is very true. Our servers were kind and no other complaints besides the prices.

They sale high quality wines🍷 and their prices are reasonable. Their donut burgers are gigantic!!! The restaurant is also cleaned, and they have a family friendly environment! I strongly recommend having brunch in here if you are in the area of old town Edinburgh, Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Walked past earlier in the day and decided this would be great for dinner, food and drinks were great, service was quick and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of a good burger.

American style menu which looked really good on paper but… we were disappointed. Underwhelming: not terrible, but also not great. And they were out of pastrami. Staff was amazing though.

Excellent place to eat for someone with celiac/coeliac. A complete gluten free menu. Food tastes great and filled us up so we could continue our day. So good we ate there twice. Highly recommended.

Went for the lunch menu on Monday to Friday but told it wasn’t on that Monday. Food was nice but far too expensive. Around 16 for a burger with no chips or drink. Staff were nice

The BMB Posh Burger was amazing. They were able to accommodate my allergies and had a NGCI flourless chocolate cake that was decadent.

Best burgers by far. Service was so fast and staff were all lovely. Had a little trouble finding it from the train station, turns out it's up the hotel stairs.

Had burgers at the Edinburgh North Bridge branch with my wife and daughter yesterday. We all had the cheeseburger and it was the best burger that I have ever had. I am 66 and have lived in Glasgow, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Abu Dhabi so I have eaten many burgers in many places. Superb!

Excellent service. The place is extremely overpriced. Paid 7.50 for chicken bites that amounted to less than 80 grams of chicken, about 1/2 a chicken breast Expect to pay over £20 for a burger + fries. Down the Hatch on leith walk offers better value for the same style of food 👌

Excellent burger (I had the WHAM smash burger - pictured), and really attentive, friendly service, in a great location. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a great and quick dinner. They also have an extensive Gluten Free menu and a couple of vegan options. My only criticism was that the ‘small poutine’ side was very small (for £6), otherwise I’d fully recommend this!

Staff extremely friendly, really helpful to talk to. I had a cheeseburger which i really enjoyed, the IRN BRU tastes extra flavourful and is nice and cold. Overall one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, would come again.

We had the sunshine on beef burger and the ayai napa. Both were amazing. Would also recommend the garlic Parmesan fries/ poutine. Amazing food and very friendly staff.
