Brasserie Centrale in Camden

En nuesta primera visita a Londres nos hospedamos en este hotel y los desayunos eran en la Brasserie... recuerdo que los muffins de frutos rojos y de arándanos eran realmente muy buenos.

Después de un largo día de trabajo, la perspectiva de dirigirse a un hotel cómodo que tiene un restaurante muy conveniente, es sorprendentemente bueno una buena sensación. Comer en la Brasserie Centrale era justo eso. Tuve un maravilloso plato de pasta que era excelente y una ensalada que era fresco, fresco y a la derecha. Un proyecto de cerveza local redondeó la noche. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante

Un lugar muy agradable para compartir un almuerzo o una cena con familia y amigos, la atención es eficiente y amable.

La comida es mala calidad y caro, no es ni siquiera coherente. Todo el menú pueden resumirse como "Chef" si pides mismo plato puede conseguir diferentes salsa o ingredientes. Pedimos pasta con verduras, fue horrible. Explicación, nuestro chef indio no está aquí, pero tenemos un cocinero europeo y que no puede hacer pasta. Me ofreció ir a la cocina y hacer pasta. Por cierto, es un restaurante un menú con cambio de nombre. Es Zaike, charlas y Brasserie. Se cambia de nombre en los días de la semana.

We stayed at the hotel and I thought I would give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt even after reading previous reviews... Mistake. I ordered the most expensive steak, med rare and it came out as a thin piece of meat well done. Staff was very nice and had a new one brought out which was better but not great for £24. The breakfast buffet was ridiculously over priced. £20 for the full English with mushy eggs, oily mushy sausage and dry blood pudding! But since there are no restaurants nearby it becomes your only option if you are in a hurry. Nice staff but bad, over priced food.

Then try to find something to hold you until you can get to a real restaurant. This place is just a step about diner fare in the US.

Nice breakfast buffet with good fruit, cereal, juices and breads. Full breakfast also available. Nothing spectacular, but better than average (and better than expected for this dated property).

Service was attentive and discreet but the quality of the food was below average. The starter came without the menu's promised baguette and overcooked mussels, the mains were a mixed of hot meat and tepid veg. The only advantage this place has is it is part of the hotel but other marriotts have better food.

Very nicely decorated, the Brasserie Centrale is very convenient since it is located on the hotel premises. However, we considered it to be very pricey. Make sure you ask the hotel's front desk if they have any specials going on. We were able to take advantage of the special price they had for breakfast, just for being a part of the Marriott Rewards program.
