Brasseria in City of London, Westminster

Nous y sommes allé en famille en nous baladant dans le quartier de Nothing Hill Les plats sont bon, la carte est variée ! Les desserts sont excellent ! A tester sans hésiter !

Buen sitio para comer, concurrido pero mesas espaciadas. Salón comedor grande. Cómo unos espaguetis muy buenos y se adaptaron a mis intolerancias muy rápido. Rápido servicio y amable.

Decidimos parar allí un poco rápido y lo que tuvimos fue bueno, se quedaron sin uno de los elementos que pedimos pero compartimos el plato que recibimos. Las bebidas eran muy buenas.

La comida era insuperable. El servicio fue muy rápido los camareros eran atento. Se lo recomendaría a todo el mundo.

ambiente agradable, fácil acceso al restaurante y en una buena ubicación, pero la comida no era la mejor. El servicio era muy educado, pero la comida es normal. Si estás de vacaciones sospecho que quieres más en su comedor de la comida regular.

We recently visited The Brasseria, part of a Thistle Hotel with the intention of having a quick lunch during our lunch break at work. When we arrived there was no one there and all five of us ordered a main course. In the meantime a group came in that were obviously using the hotel for a conference or event. All the staff seemed preoccupied with attending to their needs and we were left waiting for over half an hour for our dishes to turn up. When they did arrive the quailty was Ok, we had a 50% discount card and wouldn't have been happy to pay full price for the dishes, even if they had turned up on time. Suffice to say we won't be going back in a hurry. Maybe they treat their hotel guests better.

We went here because we waited too late to book for other "comparable" restaurants in the area (Bumbles, The Library) for Saturday night. There were three of us, nicely dressed (no blue jeans). After telling us that they were fully booked and couldn't take us, the desk attendant said she would squeeze us in. The restaurant was only 50-70% full the 2+ hours we were there. Our drinks order was not correct and had to be reordered. Our first course was originally given to another table about 5 minutes after they ordered the same trio we had 30 minutes previously. So, we had to wait for 45 minutes for our first course. Both of the two chicken main courses that were ordered were not fully cooked (I could hear Gordon Ramsay yelling in my head!). We declined dessert after all this. Not worth the almost $150 it cost. Atmosphere was lacking as well. In future, I would eat at a local cafe and wait another night for a nice dinner somewhere else.
