Very let down by this kebab shop that also trades as manor place. We placed an order via uber eats with a delivery time of 40/60 mins after an hour and a quarter I rang to find they had forgot to make up the order up and couldn’t give me a delivery time so I agreed to collect myself as I explained I’m diabetic and needed to eat. I collected the order no apology and no delivery charge refund. When I got home the portions were tiny and the rice was missing. I rang and was told that they’d run out of rice and forgot to tell me no apology received. Went don’t go here often as it’s not cheap and usually a treat but will never go again or recommend.

I honestly was shocked by the amount of chips we got. We had a chicken doner kebab, lamb shish kebab, portion of chips (size large), can of orange tango and cherry coke. Food was fresh, big portions and homemade garlic sauce was a dream

terrible order chickien shish supposed to be large the kebab roll was bigger the pitta bread was crispy in places there was no box it was wrapped in paper and the paper was stuck to the pitta bread will not order again

Placed and paid for an order online, for collection. Refused to give my husband the chips because they “ wasn’t on the order”. Nameless manager, who doesn’t give her “name out to strangers” despite them having my phone number, email address, and home address, eventually took another look at order only to find it was there - right down the bottom! Suggested they could deliver the offending chips - despite us already eating and not wanting the food we had to get any greasier! Now waiting for a refund, or should I let them keep it and put it towards some customer service training for the one who shall remain nameless? Certainly won’t be buying anything from them again!

68A High StreetBefore I start, I'll just get 2 details out of the way. Firstly, I always leave honest reviews, which is why I have at present over 6.8 million views on my reviews, and I'm in the top 10% of reviewers globally. Secondly, I REALLY hate to leave poor reviews for a local business. However, I've really no choice but to say what I need to. I have used this chinese takeaway for 19 years, and sadly, I've seen the food be excellent and hot to not so great and tepid. Last night, however (8.3.25), it was the worst ever. It was ordered and collected at 8.30pm, so it is not late or overly busy. We ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, plain chow mein, and chicken chow mein. It was just plain awful at best, cold and tasteless. The noodles tasted like plain spaghetti and the 6, yes. 6 pieces of chicken in the chow mein were also bland. The chicken balls were overcooked on the outside, looking as if they'd been re dipped, and the chicken was slushy and not chicken meat consistency. Sorry, but this was worse than poundshop fakeaway. Only almost £20 was considered a waste of money. On the subject of money, they will only accept cash. The reasons for this are contrasting as last December they said it was broken and awaiting the bank to replace it but yesterday's excuse was everyone who went there only paid cash and therefore the machine was never used. Whereabouts these masses of people walking around with only cash and no bank card or smartphones is beyond me, never seen them. There's really only 1 reason takeaways, etc. Take cash only is very clear, and I think we all know it. Would I be going here again, never. Would I recommend, not a hope. I'd only recommend you go elsewhere out of the village.

9-15 George Yard, Rayne RoadWent in for breakfast with my son and his wife on the 17th of January this year we ordered three breakfasts with toast two teas and one soft drink Came to over £47 Food was average Which is a shame when my wife was alive we used to go regularly to this cafe food was Always lovely and reasonably priced suffice to say, we won’t be returning
