Lovely pizzas, they seem to get better and better! Great menu choice! Only negative is the delivery charge which is very high especially as the delivery drivers use bikes!

I have never ordered from this establishment but had a delivery person knocking on my door on Friday with a delivery which he claimed was for me Now can I suggest that Domino's make sure that whoever they employ can read and can tell the difference between Number 32 on an order and where it was meant to go which was 3a

Not a vegetarian but the Veg supreme is by far the best pizza Dominoes do, if you havent tried it, do it.

Things you don’t expect to see when you order a vegetarian pizza from Domino’s Pizza - Chicken. What did the Manager say “oh when we’re really busy the ingredients can get mixed up” ?! I was promised a refund and replacement, nearly an hour and half later - nothing. If they can’t handle ingredients, how do they handle allergens? Update - No replacement arrived, no refund was issued. Abysmal customer service

Food always burned with no care taken making pizza with little ingredients or box marks on top of things chicken always plain with no bbq sauce Food always missing then I call up no apology just told we really busy I order literally every 3/4 months as it’s always a big let down and I vow never again this leopard never changing its spots ! To expensive for what you get the manager should be ashamed

Why do so many people moan about delivery and stuff being cold? If your order just came in and the delivery driver already left with a bundle, its going to be a while! As for asking why they need to pay delivery bikes? Well those bikers need paying too! All the whingers, next time just cook a pizza yourself if you want it hot and on time!

Called to order chicken for my son and pizza. They tried mugging me off with a £29:99 bill? Spoke to manager who then failed to put my card details in correctly to mess me around. I know the Domino's owners and will be taking this up with them because this poor service is not acceptable

Toppings just spread so thinly and on top of the cheese. Poor quality pizza and don't care attitude when I called to inform of this. They put mushrooms which were not supposed to be there. Never again!!

I'm confused as to why I paid a £2.50 delivery charge for them to bring my pizza on a bicycle? Was cold when it arrived. Not good.

Food never turned up. Called a few times, they just lied and said its coming..... It didn't.

Stayed in the area for work and ordered from this branch through just eat as i called the restaurant and was told i was too far away to order and then found they do deliver on just eat. Delivery driver was lovely but I have to say this is the worst dominos ive ever ordered from. Ordered a thin and crispy and got classic crust, missing sides and when i called to complain the guy on the phone told me that the sides were not on my order even though i can clearly see they are. After arguing with them for 5mins they finally realised there mistake

After long day in the office I’ve ordered a domino pizza and went to collect it with cash only to be told that they cannot accept my legal tender, when I ask the representative what will he now do with the pizza he refuses to sell , he replied that he will put it in the bin rather than taking my cash

Absolutely appalling! Ordered 3 pizza, 3 chicken sides, 3 wedges, wings and garlic bread - TOOK 1 hour and 38 mins to get from Halstead to Sible Hedingham!! At worst a 10 min drive. Food stone cold. DISGUSTING SERVICE AND DISGUSTING COLD FOOD - you should be ashamed to charge for a substandard service! Won’t ever use you again

here are the details of the appalling service we received on the evening of the 26\10\22 pizza ordered at 18.45 phoned again at 19.45 arrived 5 minutes later cold, they then spent the next two hours lying to us about when delivery would take place, they have taken our money and supplied nothing at all, what a shower. [could not give a no star review.] ,, up date on my review dated the 26/10/22 phoned and talked to a female who claimed to be the manager about refund told three days, checked evening of 07/11/22 no refund seems they lie about everything i did send an e mail to the head office, they said they would be in touch about the poor service received and cold pizza no reply, it now seems they lie also must need the money to pay for those silly adverts also i shall try dough & co in the high street.

I can only echo other peoples opinions on the store. Rude staff on the phone, and orders arrive cold and way past the “delivered” notification you get on the pizza tracker. If you call to complain you get the phone put down on you. Not very impressed at all. If you want a pizza in or around Halstead then dough&co just down the road will do a far better job.

Terrible delivery. Ordered via JustEat, over 2 hours of calling and asking and being told ‘yeah it’s on the way’ when it wasn’t. Horrendous. Pizza was cold as well. Wasn’t refunded either. Avoid!

Delivered very late and cold. Delivery tracker showed it delivered a good half hour before it actually turned up. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Won’t use again.

For the second time out of 2 consecutive orders I have received the wrong pizzas. I called the store immediately and they advised I would have to wait another hour to receive the correct pizzas. After me advising that it wasn’t good enough to wait an hour (with us needing to go home to put our baby to bed), the lady on the phone apologised and said she would try to get our order with the next driver but 35 minutes later I assume that hasn’t happened. Whilst I appreciate they are busy, orders that have been messed up by the store should be rectified as priority. If I wanted to eat my dinner past 9pm I would have ordered it later. Clearly Dominos are too big to care about individual customers.

Quality is not there compared with other Domino's. Advice - drive to Domino's in Braintree.

Ordered 3 vegan pizzas, 2 of which had meat products on. Cross contamination is awful here! It's not the first time it's happened!

I have got my pizza finally but it is freezing cold 😤 after waiting for 2 hours !!! Why can’t you just ring and say it is going to be late ? Or when I called you don’t say the driver left 10 minutes ago then the pizza turns up 40 minutes later? What a joke …. Never again

Really disappointed! Told 30mins and food was late, we waited inside only to see the staff prepping food with no gloves no hair net! One girl was prepping food with her hair in her face! Not professional! Touching phones then touching food!

This dominos has gone from excellent to poor! It’s run by youngsters which there is nothing wrong with that, however their attitude is disgusting. I’ve ordered a few times now and every time there has been a problem. One of my items was missing and was told they would deliver it within 10 minutes. I allowed half hour in case he was the only delivery driver as I do live 10 min away. The man on the phone was very lovely and apologetic. However an hour passed and nothing come so I phoned back up and asked for a refund, the response was quite careless and no apology at all. I feel my order was messed up as I have been in store waiting and all I can hear is appalling language used at the back of the store and messing about! Customer service needs a huge improvement.

Well, I must say the customer service was impressive, I only eat pizza every once in a long while so I'm always in a bit of a pickle when it comes to choosing the young man behind the counter was kind and patient enough to explore my options based on the preferences I made known to him, the conclusion we reached originally did not have chicken on it, but he was flexible enough to ensure I got chicken toppings. I also liked how they were kind enough to wait for me to finish my pizza I was never promoted to hurry up even though it was very close to closing hour and finally the kind young also lent me his charger as my phone was running out of 🔋 . I wish I knew this young man's name but his establishment is getting a 5 because of him

Kept getting texts saying tip the driver etc when it hadn’t been delivered yet. Called shop, spoke with someone who had no idea what i was saying. Then got through to Megan and advised what was said previously. SHE WAS BEYOND RUDE and didn’t have a clue in customer Service. Disgusting

Used to be decent but seems to have gone massively downhill recently. My last 2 orders have been rubbish. A new £2 delivery charge to wait 90 minutes for stone cold pizza - half of it without any toppings on. We wont be ordering again any time soon.

Pizza was okay but whilst waiting in the store the language coming from the staff was not suitable for customers ears . I'm not easily offended but the level of swearing was only fit for a pub toilet

Almost always a hot freshly cooked pizza but as like most Domino's they are overpriced for what you get. There are several pizza outlets in Halstead offering cheaper options but not necessarily the better option. Staff turnover seems quite high for some reason?!

Tryed to order a family pizza this afternoon, I find it disgusting you are now charging for delivery when they are riding bikes to deliver the pizzas!! Which is not a bad thing but to charge customers is absolutely ridiculous. We won’t be ordering here again. Going by your current reviews I think we have made the right choice all together. Another online chain ready to rip off the customers. Brilliant

Not impressed with Halstead Dominies. They often deliver tepid food which you can wait nearly two hours for! Then to add to today added annoyance you have to phone up and wait for missing item. Poor show from the team at Halsread Dominoes. Lastly pizzas are often varying degrees of quality and sometimes it appears whoever is preparing and quality checking pizzas is wearing a blindfold to do so.

This has got to be the worst Domino’s I’ve had. I ordered 2 large pizzas for collection, I collected both and when I got home both had not been cut properly and the toppings looked like then had just been thrown on. Some slices had no toppings so no real care taken, just rushed to get food out, profit over passion.

They've delivered to us dozens of times then suddenly claim they don't deliver to us. The problem I have is that they keep posting flyers through my door advertising delivery.

If I could’ve put on zero stars I would have, when when I tell you I just had the rudest conversation with one of their members of staff that would be an understatement, all because he got his back up when I phoned to tell them that the pizza they had delivered to me was not cooked properly, it was honestly anaemic! And then they proceeded to tell me that I can only have a coupon in return like I ever want to eat there again! Yuck

Ordered pizza at 20:10 and heard nothing and received no food by 21:00 - I live 10 yards behind their premises. I rang to be told it would be another hour or so - a small pizza and wedges - due to a shortage of drivers. I went to another nearby takeaway and when walking past Dominos there were 5 people working inside and 2 drivers sat outside. I asked for a refund but made a formal online complaint as the girl on the phone sounded clueless when stating unconvincingly I’d get my money back in “a couple of days”. Will not be using ever again.

Impressed to say the least with Josh Carter and his team. The pizzas were delicious plenty of toppings and piping hot when they arrived. Josh delt with a computer glitch (probably of my making) on the phone he was very friendly and professional in his manner he is a credit to Dominos. Thank you!

Dont answer phones - probably cos they are too busy - but forget people who's orders they have already messed up cant get through.

Ordered pepperoni pizza and garlic bread for Friday night dinner. Quick delivery and piping hot. Value and taste exactly what you expect from Domino's.

Had more bad experiences than good. Pre ordered 90minutes in advance still turned up 30mins late and cold.

Tonight (14.08.20) I ordered two large pizzas and two garlic bread. Delivery was very prompt and polite, no complaints there. The problems were with the food supplied. 1/Pizza one - pepperoni was placed under the cheese so it could not be seen, upon inspection there were approximately four pieces of pepperoni present. Basically we received a margarita pizza. 2/One of the garlic bread was burnt down the crust on one half and under the topping where obviously no one would expect the burning to be seen. We used to be regular Domino's customers but stopped sometime back when we received poor quality food, we returned tonight hoping things may have improved, but sadly improvement doesn't seem to be the case. I have given Domino's two stars. One star for the prompt delivery and one star for the delivery drivers customer service.

Very poorly run business the app decides when and wen it doesn't want to work tells you to call store to complete order only to be told they can't take collection orders over the phone don't care that the app ain't working and your a hungry paying customer . Customer service is zero .

Just had a pizza delivered and the small ranch was dreadful so loaded with a bottle of sauce as you picked a slice up all the topping collapsed off inedible No cheese at all and these white tiny bits all over it no idea what they are Phoned to complain hopefully a replacement will arrive but I won’t hold my breath Wish I could upload a picture The other pizza was also meant to be a Hot & Spicy with no jalapeños at all Second bad experience ordered once before and the order never turned up

We order a pizza 1-2 times a month. We order on line for collection. We have certainly had some excellent pizza from here in the last couple of years. Very tasty and well prepared. Unfortunately about every third or fourth visit we get a dried over cooked pizza. It really is a bit of a lottery what standard of pizza you will open up when you get home.

I would never use Domino again in Halstead. Service was poor, staff didn't seem to know what there were doing including the manager who had no communication skills with customers. Our pizza's and other customers meals stated ready on the screen but staff just didn't seem to be interested. I noticed the staff member making the bases drop the spatchula on the floor laughed picked it up and continued using this to scoop dough up out of the boxes of dough.

Food is always good but every time ordered for collection at a specific time, never on time. Can over for 15 mins when I call, turn up when it’s due to be collected be told it’ll be 5 minutes and then 15 minutes later it’s finally ready. Happens every time.

Really slow and disorganised. Several unhappy customers had mistakes in their order. My order was 10 minutes late despite ordering it an hour and a half ago. Also the Margherita was overcooked

New to the area, tried Dominos for the first time tonight. After waiting 1hour and 10 I called to see where the order was, was told en route. Cancelled the order after waiting 1hr and 30 mins, requested a refund and was told it would take 3 days and they can’t send a confirmation email due to GDPR! Pizza then arrived cold......

Me and my wife had our teenage nephew staying with us for a few days and he said pizza is his favourite food. I'm partial to a slice every now and then so we thought we would take advantage of the two for Tuesday promotion. Now it's been a good few years since I've had a Domino's but I have to say it will be a good few years before I have one again ......if ever!I ordered online which was a relatively easy experience and asked for it to be delivered ASAP, this is where the experience took a turn for the worse. I opened the track order app which in retrospect was a mistake because it only served to highten my expectations, my order went to prep within minutes, bake a moment later, quality control within 10 minutes of ordering and out for delivery a minute or so later! Whoa, I best get the plates out and choose what to watch on TV because we only live 3 minutes up the road..............then we waited........and waited.......and waited... then the order tracker app said pizza delivered so I guessed the delivery driver would be knocking on the door any minute....they didn't! I waited another 15 mins before calling the store to see what the fudge is going on. After checking the girl on the phone told me they had to bake the pizza's again! Ok I asked did the delivery driver drop them seconds before delivering them....errr...we had to bake your pizza's again was the response, there just about to come out and will be with you in ten minutes. Ok fine I'm getting pretty hangry now but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt......... almost 40 mins later the pizza's were finally delivered, no apology, no complimentary sides or drinks, certainly no discount. Ok, let it go and just enjoy the bloody pizza's I told myself.....that was my final mistake. The pizza was lukewarm, cheese congealed, toppings sparsely distributed and base solid as a rock! I suspect the pizza may have been prepped and baked when the app said they were but then every member of staff brewed a cuppa and sat down to watch love island omnibus because I'm sure those pizza's had been sat on the back seat of the delivery drivers car for the best part of an hour and a half!

I really love pizza and dominos have the best pizza in my opinion. I've always had a good experience at this dominos, fast and good quality food. The delivery waiting time is normal very fast, so you order and eat in the comfort of your own home in no time at all. They have great desert choices too, I love the dominos cookies and I love there chicken wings. I recommend this place

The Halstead Dominoes has non existent service . Having ordered online and with a specific booking it took a chaser phone call and were told “it’s on the way”.... then another chaser phone call half an hour later to be told “it’s on the way” ... staff were useless on the phone , I asked yo speak to the supervisor or manager and he was just as useless - saying the delivery “was on its way” .. the app saying it had been delivered (!!?!!) ... then the ‘manager’ offered a 50% discount on the next delivery !!?!?!? On asking over and over where the delivery is they just repeated it’s on it’s way then on trying to suggest calling the driver the ‘manager’ hung up!!!!Still sat waiting with the order having been placed an hour and a half ago. Pathetic , rude , dishonest and useless .

Rubbish.. As a regular customer (due to the distinct lack of adequate takeaways in Halstead) I've seen it all, from 4 hour wait times, to wrong ingredients, missing items and they even forgot to add sauce to half my pizza (that was a good one!). I've called up countless times in the past to get rubbish excuses, no resolutions and even a bad mouthed manager. I've now got bored of calling up and giving them another chance, so after they buggered up my order again (extra ingredients on the pizza that I really, really didn't want) I decided it's time to share my thoughts.. I use Dominoes takeaway service Halstead on a fairly regular basis. Their service in the past has not been good at times. And nobody from the company contacts you when you have a complaint. Tonight I ordered three pizzas and garlic bread. Delivery time wasn't bad. But when the driver arrived there were only two pizzas! He rung the shop and yes there was my other pizza sitting there! The driver apologised and went back to the shop to collect the pizza. It was probably 30 minutes before he was back! He apologised again. I thought they might have sent a couple of sides as compensation. But nothing! Not even a phone call or an email to apologise. As I said before, this is not the first time this has happened with this takeaway.

Very poor service!!! The app said it had been delivered, so I called them and they said the driver couldn’t find the house and tried to call me!! Which was absolute rubbish because my phone was in my hand the whole time!! Then tell me I have to wait another 15 minutes for it to be delivered!!! An absolute joke!!! The guy on the phone asks me if i live near a garage, when I said no he got all smug and says “well what’s it near then”!!

There should be an estimated delivery time online when you order! If I had known it was going to take over 2 hours to deliver then I wouldn’t have wasted an hour and a half waiting on food that wasn’t even being prepared!If I hadn’t of called then I would never have known it was going to be OVER two hours for delivery! Use dominos Halstead a lot and usually good but tonight 10/11/18 was shocking terrible customer service and dreadful delivery time considering I’m 15 mins away. Staff absolutely lying to me as to when food would show up and said internet orders are completely out of there control.over two hours and still no dinner. Well done dominos. Sort your Halstead branch out.

One of the best dominoes I have personally been to. Very good customer service as well. I was served by a person called Alex, one of the most helpful people I have ever met, what an asset to have!

Absolutely disgraceful service. Rang up and asked if they would honour a certain discount as many do, was informed they did and I could order online and collect. Put my order through and duly drove to the store for a case of computer says no. Apparently they won't discount online orders. I asked what they'd do if I cancelled the order to be told "throw it away". So again I asked if he'd just cancel and RE put it through like every other store but he refused. Queue wasting my time driving there, their time and money preparing the order, because they are to stubborn or just don't like honouring the discount. Well done on terrible customer service.

Pizza is nice but rather salty. Side orders tend to be terrible, so I no longer order any sides. I much prefer pizza hut.

We have used dominos on a weekly basis since it opened, started out fine and gradually gone down hill. food late, over cooked and cold we have given them the chance over and over again but tonight’s offering and service was the final nail in there coffin . NEVER AGAIN and wild advise anyone else to do the same

Exceptionally Bad Service! I have been ordering from here for almost 4 years and usually not a problem, but on this occasion I was left extremely disappointed! After waiting for my order for over an hour, I called to find out what had happened to it? I was told that it was still in the store as they didn't have an address for it; I was told that I hadn't put my address when placing the order online; I mentioned, that I placed it the way that I always place it through my app. But for some reason they didn't have it. Anyway, so I asked what now? I was told, that they could make new ones, or I could receive the same ones and receive a £10 voucher; I said that's fine just do that as my kids are waiting! He said ok and took my address. 20 minutes later still no order and I called back, to find out what is happening. I was then told it was still there and this was because I had not put the address when placing the order online. I said I can't believe this, I have given you the address over the phone; he said I can get the manager if you like? So I said yes! I said to the manager, have you spoken to your colleague and been told of the situation? He said yes, you haven't put you address when placing the order; I said I placed the order the same way I do for the last 4 years through the app. I was then told well we have no control over that because it is all done online and comes through head office. So I said well this is just not acceptable, what can be done about this? He said well, it was my fault as the address had not been put in when placing the order. So I said, shall I come and get the order then? He said yes, you can come and collect the order. I go collect the order, I waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there, there were staff standing around not working and eventually one of them, I believe the same one I had spoken to, came to speak to me. I said that I was coming to pick up my pizzas and I had spoken to him on the phone and he knew exactly which ones these were. I said is the manager about? He said he was out the back and he would go and get him. He came out and immediately had attitude! I was soooo irate! I could not believe, I wasn't even apologized to or even offered an explanation; instead, I was told how it was my fault that I hadn't input my address when placing the order and showed me the labels on the pizzas. We ended up shouting and swearing at each other! All of which could have been avoided with some much needed customer service training!! Not what you'd expect from such a Big, Global, Well-known Brand!!
