I visited here on a hot Thursday afternoon at 3.30pm and it was already quite busy. I bought a nice pint of London Pride at £6.80. There were no cask ales and a limited selection of spirits. This is not surprising as the pub is limited for space. There is a small bar at ground level and a similar sized bar downstairs. They have an old style jukebox although it was unplugged when I visited. Given the limited space inside a lot of people were drinking outside even though there is no seating. The location is great, just 50 yards from New Oxford St. The toilets are downstairs which may be a problem for the less mobile. An unusual pub but worth a visit.

We were looking forward to visiting this bar as it looks small and quirky, and it also has a retro juke box, what a disappointment. We walked in to the half empty ground floor bar and we were told to go to the cellar bar as the ground floor was "too full". We went downstairs to find that it was almost full, I found about 18 inches of bar which wasn't occupied by drinkers and the abrupt barman told me that he wasn't serving at that part of the bar, when I said that there was no other space at the bar he said that we "would have to go back upstairs then". When we returned to the ground floor the same barman who sent us downstairs decided that he was now prepared to serve us. The bar itself is grimey, the decor is dusty, the toilets are filthy and smell like the polar bear house at a zoo. There seems to be a regular clientele with whom the staff are very cliquey, we will not be returning anytime soon.

I recently visited Bradley's Spanish Bar in London and was absolutely charmed by the experience. The ambiance of the bar is stunningly beautiful. What really stood out was the exceptional service provided by a young lady who was not only sweet but also incredibly attentive. The highlight of Bradley's is their amazing jukebox. It boasts an excellent selection of records, setting a delightful and unique atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. This feature alone makes the bar a must-visit spot for music lovers. Moreover, the cozy and pleasant environment of the bar made our evening truly memorable. It's a great place to unwind after a long day or to enjoy a relaxed night out with friends. Lively place, to put into context it is a very small venue and 22 of us arrived. As we were attempting to get down the stairs the barman attending downstairs shouted at group to not stand on stairs due to fire risk. Get its a fire risk but to shout it 3 times when we're just attempting to get down is rude As its such a small place headed outside to have a smoke, attempted to make small talk with the doorman and asked why such a small place would need a doorman. Response was "none of your business, up to the venue" If its dead quiet I'd recommend but if its semi busy would avoid like the plague unless claustrophobia is your thing

Proper little gem of a pub nestled in a little street just off Oxford Street. The upstairs bar is better as the downstairs one stinks of the toilets (which is the reason for the 4 star rating) otherwise it'd get full marks. Seating upstairs is very limited but if you can get a seat then sit back and enjoy the free old jukebox and try some of the rare beers on offer. My favourite was the black Budweiser Budvar. Never seen it on sale anywhere but here. Staff are friendly and welcoming. After work it gets very busy and mist chose to stand outside.

My all time favourite pub in central London and I’m not just saying this out of my love of Spanish beer. This quaint little pub for me represents the pub culture of a bustling city, it’s full of locals and isn’t trying to raise eyebrows. The price of beer here or neat spirits is fair here and the service is always given with a smile. This place isn’t trying too hard to seem edgy it just has a naturally warm charm about it and is easily missed but if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth visiting even if it means standing outside for the vibe this pub radiates.

Sadly my experience here on a Saturday afternoon did not live up to the expectations from the other reviews. The staff member in the downstairs bar is possibly the grumpiest and rudest person I've encountered in a pub! He seemed to search for any opportunity to complain about something... where we were sitting, how we weren't buying enough drinks etc etc. His rationale was "the need to keep the lights on" but his tone was pretty unacceptable so we all left earlier than planned. If he'd asked us to get a few more drinks with a bit more positivity I think we would have as we'd have actually felt welcome. Unfortunately, it seemed like he'd got out the wrong side of his bed and didn't want to be there himself. Overall, I won't be coming back here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

On a recent night out in London, with visiting friends, we decided to catch up early for dinner, seeking sustenance and sanctuary before "The Lion King" roared into our evening. Our friends were a travelling family of two joyously tired parents and their two sons with beaming smiles, full of perpetual joy and contagious energy. We decided the menu at Wahaca looked good, and noted it was a large, busy, family-friendly haven right near the theatre that promised both good food and quick service - exactly what we needed. We grabbed a couple of serves of the guacamole for the kids, these were deliciously simple and were served with tortilla chips. While the kids’ told stories about their exploring of London and a dramatic recent loss of a tooth - I think the adults ate much more of the guacamole. The Mexico City Nachos hit the table, loaded with Trealy Farm chorizo, black beans, and a nice combo of salsas - I was glad to give them a go. I ordered one of the Summer Special "Pea & Mint Empanadas" - I thought they’d be better based on the ingredients and write up, but I was happy to give them a try. We got the Crispy Cauliflower Bites and Sweet Potato 'Bravas', they were good also, but the sweet potato bravas weren’t that crispy, but were still nice, served with jalapeno allioli and hibiscus salsa. For drinks all the adults decided that we were craving coffee instead of booze, but fate intervened cruelly as the waitress told us the coffee machine was broken. This led me to order a Coffee Tequila—a cheeky detour that I enjoyed. For mains, we went with a range of the tacos - chicken, beef and fish - and a chicken quesadilla to share. The kids enjoyed their own delightful bowls from the kids menu. No complaints with any of these and they came out fast as promised. We got the Churros for desert. After we paid the bills and prepared to leave, our waitress walked past us confidently and delivered a round of coffees to the table next to ours. It was a strange, hilarious twist that could not have been better planned or timed. It was a great space and a fantastic pre-show feast which allowed for a good value meal, some nice conversation, good laughs and just the right amount of absurdity before a magical night of theatre.

Honestly, this place was just awful. The food was bad. Small portions (8 padrón peppers in a portion…), over cooked, and very over priced. The service was terrible. I can understand people have bad days and that if you’re short staffed it’s hard but having to ask repeatedly for the food we’ve ordered isn’t ok. Very disappointed I wasted time and money here - I’d advise you go elsewhere.
