Had a wonderful afternoon when visiting for the first time. Reasonably good prices on the beer, Spacious venue, very clean and tidy, made to feel welcome as soon as I entered and I will be returning again. Highly recommended.

Staff are amazing and friendly! Would 100% recommend popping in for a drink or some food!

This is a lovely little social club. We were stopping at lydden farm around the corner it’s well worth a visit . The people in the bar and bar staff were very welcoming and a lovely pint .

We were visiting Wyldecrest Bradgate park to see our Daughter and grandchildren for a few days and decided we would pay a visit to the pub which is located on-site. All seemed fine when we first walked in but then the shock horror story began. The first uninviting thing you come across is the vagrant looking barman with an upside down smile who just “grunted” What would you like Hon!! He looked like he needed a good bath and a new outfit. This sent alarm bells ringing but we had planned to have food so we duly ordered as We felt he surely cannot be cooking as well. We found a table away from the bar in the extension area. This obviously wasn’t far enough away because the foul language from the vagrant Barman and a what looked like a builder customer/ Friend was unrepeatable! If we hadn’t of ordered food we would have up and left immediately as our Grandchildren could hear these foul mouthed men. ( I say that very loosely) My Husband visited the toilet whilst we were there and wish he hadn’t! He said it was discusting. Urine on the floor and the smell was horrific. I decided not to visit the ladies but I’m sure they would have been fine. The food arrived promptly and in all honesty this was the best part about it. The lady was wonderful and so accommodating. My egg was hard but that was being picky. The rest was delicious. We drank our drinks and my husband mentioned his beer tasted awful but after looking at the glasses it’s not a wonder. Going by the barman it was not one bit surprising. My Daughter tells me nothing has changed and has got worse. From our experience we will never step one foot in their again which is such a shame as I think this could be a good reputable pub/ Diner with an overhaul of the bar staff and certain clientele. I’m not sure if this is privately owned or belongs to Wyldecrest. If it is the latter you should be bowing your heads in shame.

Este es un club, abierto a los miembros del público. La cena de San valentín fue maravillosa, aunque era un delicioso estofado de carne. La comida estaba caliente y sabroso, el personal era atento y toda la noche fue un éxito. Tiempo y esfuerzo había sido tomado con la distribución de la mesa, incluyendo, lo que creía que era un toque agradable, una red de rosas frescas era en un jarrón. Comida se sirve en la mayoría de las noches excepto los martes, con desayuno los Sábados y Domingos por la mañana y asado cena del domingo a mediodía. Ha venido bajo una nueva administración, que ciertamente parece estar funcionando. No dudaría en recomendar este sitio como un lugar ideal para comer y beber. Sin duda volveremos. Mi agradecimiento gracias a Fred, Lisa y el personal.
