I recently visited this charming little café called, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady who served us with such grace and friendliness. The café itself is adorned with quaint furniture that adds to its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The coffee and tea were simply delightful, perfectly brewed and served with care. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was both hearty and satisfying. Every detail, from the presentation to the flavors, was impeccable. Bows and Tie is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.

Lovely waitress, very engaging and cake very nice. I had the raspberry and white chocolate. Cafetieres for coffee are not my thing but I do love the china crockery and tablecloths. A menu with price list would be appreciated.

There were no menus on the tables in hindsight I should have asked but it was a grotty tea shop only went in because it was empty and there were a crowd of us with a dog and a pram.please ask for price list before ordering

A little gem that we found by accident! A lovely warm welcome, charming interior and garden, and real dog lovers! The food was great, and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again very soon!

I'm from Spain and it was my first tea time experience and it was very good! I had the tea time set with savoury and sweet snacks and they were all so good! The ladies that run the place were super nice and made the experience very wholesome!

I have now been to Bow Ties tearoom twice. On the first occasion I had a roast beef dinner.. I have to say the food was really good... the beef especially was succulent! The second time was for a breakfast special... really good quality breakfast with unlimited toast... and Earl Grey tea in a proper tea cup 🍵 Highly recommended..!

Booked a table for my wife, daughter and myself, taken to a lovely little building outside for afternoon tea. Great service, lovely food and tea, and dog friendly (took my daughters dog). An absolute gem in Bexhill, highly recommended!

In a crowded market for cafes in Bexhill, and indeed along Western Road, Bow Ties has is an unique niche position. Quaintly British with tables full of character and charm rather than wipe-down melamine. Bone China crockery, table cloths, (paper) napkins in napkin holders! Don't be put off from peering through the street window, at rear of the cafe, almost through the kitchen, is a delightful courtyard including a 'Victorian Tea Shed' complete with miniature chandeliers! Limited range of coffees but good tea, served in a pot, and fresh cakes. Cooked food available too.

Sorry, my experience wasn’t great. Took my young daughter here and she had cake while I ordered rarebit. One of my favourite dishes totally fell flat. It wasn’t at all caramelised on top and looked insipid, with burnt edges. My daughters cake was too heavy. It wasn’t even that tho, the proprietor literally hid round the corner when the waitress asked her to speak to us. She actually refused to do anything at all, laughable really. The young waitress was lovely, professional and courteous…. She was an example of great customer facing skills. Sadly not the owner.

Granddaughter wanted afternoon tea for her 18th, in our garden. Wow wow wow did they out do themselves besides the delicious food, for a reasonably price all china and tablecloth was provided. Alison insisted we send it back not washed., an add bonus. Can not recommend them highly enough. Linda Tom and Summer.

Had a private birthday party for my husbands birthday, sadly half the family was unable to make it from not being well. They made such an amazing day, we were dining outside, and the Victorian parlour, they where brilliant, fantastic food and even gave us box's to take to the ones who couldn't make it. We even got to wear some bow ties. It felt like where where at home. Highly recommended. Thank you so much. 👌😊

What lovely helpful people and great food. Being a wheelchair user, they came out to me, took my order advised me where to park which was safe, then brought my fish and chips to me. And what excellent food it was too. Very hot, crispy batter and non greasy chips and plenty of them Would certainly recommend this establishment. Thank you.

At Battle Bonfire last night and I have never experienced such bad service. The waiters were so busy talking to people they knew they didn’t even realise half the pint was spilling over and then continued to serve every person they personally knew the second they arrived at the bar which meant those who didn’t know the bartenders had a 30 minute wait. They didn’t even shake the juices so the juice was transparent.

Ate in the restaurant which is very modern but for the price we paid for our meal thought it was overcrowded and not much space between tables. Staff were ok and were efficient. A smile or two would have been nice. Food was good though I thought the sauce accompanying the lamb over powered the lamb. The desserts were delicious. Two courses & bottle of wine came to £113 for the two of us. We thought this reasonable.
