We went to this bakery for lunch today as we were in the area for Open Heritage Days. There was a queue onto the pavement but we decided to wait. We had freshly made ham cobs and a sausage roll that were delicious and sat outside in the shade to eat. Staff were lovely despite being soooo busy and food was lovely! Will definitely be back!

Generally, if you see a queue for a food establishment it means the food should be good and there is a cafe 50 yds aways so not the only place serving food. We were just visiting for weekend so didn't know the area. Girl that served us was a friendly as they come had pork and stuffing and chicken and stuffing baps and tea and coffee and it was lovely. Food and drink served by different people, and they were all a nice as could be. Would recommend it

I won't be going back to this shop, which is a pity because I live in Bournville and the food they sell is top quality. The staff don't seem to understand that if they don't enjoy serving people, then this is not the job for them. If they had attended a charm school, I would suggest they go back and ask for a refund. Is it asking too much for the staff in this shop to be pleasant to customers? However nice the food is, which it undoubtedly is in this establishment, rude and sullen staff tend to leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Popped in as was working nearby for 2 coffees, a latte and a cappucino at the cost of 2.50 each for a small cup, of which was the worst i have ever had! Think they definately have to look at their prices and quality of coffee they serving!

We initially called for a cup of tea but ended up with custard slice as well. It was a nice day and sat down for a few minutes and were very glad we did. It is a original type bakery where the food is freshly made and of the highest quality. The owner is a very nice lady and we bought some beef pasty for our lunch after returning home the following day. The pasties were warmed up and were delicious. We would highly recommend a visit.

Very nice eccles cakes, bread pudding was a bit dry. Sadly the pork pies were not good at all. Stick to the cakes.

Historic breadshop with many original features, has the feeling of the Black Country museum. Choice of freshly made sandwiches to order, range of pastries and pasties. I tried a Cornish pasty that appeared home cooked and very tasty. Obviously popular with the locals.

Very cheery service, and the food is pretty good. The bread wasn't quite as good as I've had elsewhere, and the pastries are nice but not outstanding.

If you are in the area I would recommend this excellent little cake shop. The homemade cakes by Sally cannot be beaten and you always receive a very warm welcome and excellent service. You can sit outside and enjoy the peaceful Bournville Green. Only round the corner from Cadbury World and during special village events Sally treats us to hot chocolate and pulled pork baps.

ottimo per colazione. buonissimi dolcini tipici inglesi, ottimo caffe' lungo con latte. bella posizione con 8 posti a sedere esterni che pero' penso adesso siano ormai stati tolti visto l'incalzare dell'autunno

Excellent choice of cakes, baked on the premises as this is a small bakery. The bakery is also a shop, which sells coffee, tea, cakes and sandwiches to eat on a small number of tables outside the shop.

People running where friendly and service was quick. Breakfast was nice. Cheap and cheerful.
