Food is okay but nothing special for those prices. Service workers are nice and polite. Just fine to make a quit stop for a coffee.

I love going into Boswells For me, my latte is always how l like it and always hot Cakes always tempting to buy. The staff are always pleasant n helpful. At times it's hard finding a table because of these situations re: this virus n distancing Apart from that Its All well organised for this purpose. Can l say whilst sitting on sofa, 11.20 A middle aged couple one carrying a full tray couldn't find anywhere to sit and were walking around looking. The assistant with dark hair noticed this and walked up to them as she found an empty table, as a couple had left from it. I used to waitress years ago l would have done the same thing. As l always used to look out for my customers if struggling etc. WELL DONE to you p.s. always lovely atmosphere at Boswell

Never had a bad meal in this place!, always fresh cooked food!. I hope with Greg’s opening next door that these guys don’t end up losing staff and pushing prices up. Please support them… been past recently and lots of empty tables now..

The best bakewell tart slice I've had, nice thick sponge and a gooey icing layer on top.

They always provide us with delicious food and the best milkshakes and were so helpful and kind when I spilt my milkshake. The staff are always fantastic and so helpful and always have a smile on their face

Every single lady working here is hard working and work as a great team. You can just tell with the extreme work load on a full on Saturday and they are friendly and helpful despite the amount of orders coming through. The food was fantastic and came very quickly. The organization of it all is testament to the way it's all managed also with everyone working hard to provide a fantastic service. Best service and breakfast for a long time for me. Thank you Boswell's and the staff 🙌

Had my 3rd breakfast here and it doesn’t disappoint! Tasty sausage, Runny eggs even the toast is proper farm house. The coffee is proper tasty and hot! It puts a lot of other cafes / restaurants to shame! Will be my regular from now on.

Really nice food if a little pricey. Usually nice enough staff and service. I would go in here for a lunch and to use their plugs so I could work on my laptop and get signal to hotspot off my phone. I lived in a village down the road and could never work at home due to signal. I tried to keep my visits down due to price but when I first found it, it was a bit of a winner. The picture here was a piri piri chicken Panini and was delicious.

We had a lovely breakfast at Boswells today. The food was lovely and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

We had an absolutely lovely experience at Boswells cafe today, when we went for an all day breakfast. The waitress who took our order was very efficient and friendly and was happy to swap my baked beans for salad. The young lass at the till was also very warm and friendly. Our tea and latte were perfect. Despite being quite busy, the food came out fast and was cooked to perfection. When the waitress served it she had a lovely manner and smile. It was such a pleasure to have such wonderful service. Even the young girl who was clearing and wiping the tables was doing a fantastic job. I've worked in hospitality for many years, and it was amazing to see such teamwork in action. If I could have given more than 5 stars I would have. Awesome job!

I go quite often but this time I was a bit disappointed as the egg mayo and cress sandwich was OK but not very much cress and the salad was OK but no dressing. Also the frappe used to be ice blitzed. This time it was cold but like and liquid milkshake. I know they where busy .

The best Boswells in Wilts for sure 👌 Speedy friendly service with plenty of seating indoors or out front in the covered shopping centre. Good range of choices to suit most needs... Bacon butty was good for me 😁

Friendly staff, quick service, great prices, what is not to like about Boswells! It’s so difficult to find a variety of gluten free options for breakfasts but Boswells always have a huge range and are happy to accommodate any changes for you. Today I had the GF vegetarian breakfast and my partner had a sausage sandwich, both of which were delicious and served quickly. The staff are always so friendly and attentive every time we go and give all their customers a smile!

Come here occasionally and everything is always consistent- the only thing I would say that is a little frustrating is the 'wobbly' tables - it would be nice if this was addressed as its difficult to eat and drink when you're trying to stop the table constantly wobbling.

Called in for breakfast, chose a bacon bap . Although it was tasty I thought it was a bit expensive at £5+ . I ordered a cup of tea and waited for a while before a staff member told me mine was waiting to be taken on the end!

Just having soup and a roll and the service has been outstanding, considering they're busy.

I wish i could give this a higher rating but various factors left a sour taste in my mouth. Servers , although i understand the busy times and how hard it is, seemed very reluctant to serve people, the lady we saw with a sour face, whom i assume is the manager or supervisor, is very rude and judgmental. Paid £30+ for 3 toasties that not only took a while to get , but the tuna melt had more onion than tuna and cheese, as well as served on dirty plates , the drinks are awful, ordered fizzy drinks only to get watery and syrupy liquid in dirty glasses as well as finding specks of black. (Sent back) Wont be going back. Would rather go have breakfast at one of the restuarants nearby for the same price but much better service. Appalling.

£8 on cold food and drink forgot why I stopped going there

This is a really nice tea room with really friendly helpful staff - had the full English Breakfast, it was freshly cooked and delicious. Top notch

A very busy place, if you prefer the quiet then this isn't for you, the food was lovely and the staff were polite and very helpful, there wasn't a disabled toilet otherwise I'd have given 5 stars.

Why oh why don't they wear gloves when making salads? Rub face, use hand to pick up tomatoes and cucumber, then lettuce. Wipe forhead, same process over again..........

Full English usually fine, its getting expensive and doesn't include toast or bread and butter, beans where lukewarm, I no the sausages are pre cooked but it would of been nice of them to heat them up to a decent temperature. But other than that a nice location to sit and people watch.

Nice enough place and friendly staff, but far from being competitively priced - £7.40 for a small black coffee (where the cup was nowhere near full - see pic) and a skimpy 2 rasher bacon and egg sandwich, on bread that felt like it was either "on the turn" or had been left under hot lights to start to harden/crisp up... alas, I shan't be returning purely on cost alone, when better quality is available at better prices elsewhere

Visited here for a return visit after the Covid pandemic - it was great to see them open again after such a long time and also it was fairly busy even for a Friday -- I have been here several times before There is seating inside and more outside in a sort of "pit" Follow signs as you go in on your left - either scan the app for track and trace or fill out the form Food if necessary will be bought out (hot food) - I had the all day breakfast and it was nice to have a cooked breakfast on a proper plate and using proper cutlery Staff were great at cleaning the tables Keep up the good work

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Boswell's, during the pandemic they were so vigilant keeping tables clean, track and trace etc which helped a lot of us feel safe in difficult times. Also I visited today (so glad to finally be able to be inside" and I was nervous going out with my newborn yet staff were fantastic, the young man doing coffees offered to carry my drink to my table to help and then the kind lady who brought my teacake over could see I was breastfeeding so offered to butter it for me. Really helped me feel relaxed and comfortable so thank you to you all

Good food but covid hysteria affects some of the staff.

I was there for 5 minutes with Costa chilling was about to buy food there the manager was very rude come over and tell us to leave the restaurant I wouldn't advise to go there to chill out or wait to get food or bring drinks in there manager was very rude and her attitude was appauling and told us to leave i am never going to there again

Whilst doing some shopping in Trowbridge, called in for a breakfast at Boswell's. Great food and at a good price. They are well set up for the dreaded Covid. Tables well spaced, sanitizer and waitress service. All in All a very pleasant and safe experience.10/10

My family seem to love this place but every time I visit I feel like I've just spent my entire wage. 2 sausage rolls and a small ice blast was £8! Dread to think how much an actual meal costs.

We were with my grandson who needed to know carb counts etc as he is a type 1. diabetic We could hardly believe how much help we received from one of the staff, Aleesia, who provided all the information we needed with great difficulty and was endlessly patient and kind. Thank you Aleesia, we will come again.

3rd Saturday in a row the prices seem to have gone up even though I've ordered the same thing each time from just over £8 now costing over £10 ??????

I love Boswells I haven been there many times and still not fed up of it. The food is absolutely amazing and there is such a variety of meals from bacon baguettes to lovely nachos. The staff are so nice and the toilets are very clean. Overall I would 100% recommend this to everyone.

This is my first ever visit to this area, very little with history attached to it. Stoped by this place to have lunch, and so far food is good. They have outside sitting area and indoor. Outside has comfy sofas and arms chairs, considering is located at a shaping mall is pretty quiet and relaxed. Great choice of food.

Very attractive old building that has inside & outside seating of the cafe, which sell a good variety of hot meals & snacks as well as breakfasts, cakes & biscuits along with hot & cold beverages, nice staff to serve you too. I had to knock a star off as the cheesecake I purchased was warm & rubbery & tasted strange, not a good idea to put items that should be served chilled near a hot food area.

Its nothing special. Reminds me of school dinners.. For this being the only cafe/resturant in the shires. Ot could deffo use a revamp!.. And its not exactly reasonable priced..
