Boswells in Bristol, City of

Vastly overpriced ... £7 for 2 mugs of tea felt unwell ... bearded waiter could clearly see me in distress.... just ignored not long after collapsed with HEART PROBLEM

I'm a big fan of the Boswells in Reading; so I sought this branch out when staying in Bristol. It's the same sort of thing--a shopping-centre cafe doing standard cafe food well. Service was slower here than in Reading on my two visits. But the food was just as reliable. The tables are further apart, so there's more privacy but less atmosphere. Anyway, if I come back to Bristol, I will go here again. Boswells is Boswells.

Esta es una cafetería muy conveniente si usted está comprando en las galerías. Es espacioso y vende la gama habitual de comida y bebida. Desafortunadamente, mientras estábamos allí, parecían funcionar con lo que yo llamo el método de limpieza de mesas de Wetherspoons: deje que se acumulen, así que muchas mesas están llenas de tazas, platos, etc., y luego borran todo de una vez. ¡Esto no se ve bien de antemano! Boswells es bastante nuevo en el Galleries Mall, pero parece estar haciendo buenos negocios, ya que han alquilado espacio extra en la zona peatonal. El café es fresco y caliente y tienen una buena variedad de pasteles dulces y salados y pasteles para deleitar a su paleta, pero esto no es una cafetería económica, tampoco es tan caro como cafeterías de marca. Pero si está acostumbrado a beber su café en establecimientos de comida rápida, barato y alegre, se sentirá tristemente decepcionado o terriblemente sorprendido. . Este es un lugar agradable con un buen ambiente, solo pídele a tu amigo que vaya al holandés:)

La comida era deliciosa, era un día tan frío que buscamos algo más sustancioso que un sándwich, pedimos patatas con chile y queso. . . no nos decepcionó, fue tan bueno que incluso volvimos al mostrador para decirles al momento de partir, comidas sencillas pero hechas correctamente, creo que esto puede convertirse en una parada regular de comida ahora

Restauracja w galerii handlowej. Bardzo sprawna, szybka i miła obsługa. Można zjeść lunch, wypić kawę/herbatę lub zjeść ciastko. Są miejsca przy stolikach z krzesłami, ale w głębi można znaleźć wygodne fotele, gdzie bardzo przyjemnie pije się kawę. Polecam.

Dropped in for a coffee and cakes. Cappuccino and Americano and tiffin and a Rudolph gingerbread. In the Xmas mood now. Nice shop not too busy. Staff very pleasing!

The environment is great and the staff could not be more helpful. Not haut cuisine but simple food tastefully served with grace

Over the moon that Boswells has come to Bristol! There is so much choice of food for lunch from chicken fajita flatbread, sausage rolls, chips, paninis and jacket potatoes to name a few! Lots of fantastic cakes and hot drinks available too! Lovely modern seating area, you would think whilst your there your in Cabot rather than the galleries! 100% recommend everyone to try it, will be returning as soon as I can!

Superb quality food which is priced well. This is an amazing place clean, large and beautifully furnished. Fantastic customer service what more can I say.... Manager is fantastic, really knows what customer service means, he is very visible and hard working which help set the tone and standard with his staff. As an ex Head of Customer Service I know how important this is to encourage repeat business, well, this is the second time I have visited this establishment in a week. It's a long time since I have been fortunate enough to recieve the full package in any restaurant. Well done all, keep up the great work!!

We were surprised during our shopping in The Galleries to notice a new restaurant/coffee shop! It looked very inviting, so we went in ostensibly for tea and coffee. But the menu looked so inviting that we opted to stay for lunch and had absolutely wonderful cheesy chips, very tasty indeed and of generous portions! We were really pleased to have come across this new restaurant! Very pleasant and smiley waiting staff added to our pleasure as did the nice clean toilet. Highly recommended!
