Lovely food and a lovely location, staff are all very smiley and friendly, really make you feel welcome. Special shout out to Joe in the kitchen always goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience!

I love this place for its location, service and ambience. I often spend a happy hour or two here with my laptop, a coffee and lunch. However, I am vegan and I have two gripes about the offerings here, to be honest the same issue I have with most vegan menus. First of all, vegan food is so often based on meat alternatives, fake meat burgers, vegan cheese etc. My understanding is that vegans generally are moving away from fast vegan food and want natural plant based products instead, with good nutrition a priority. Which takes me to my second point. The vegan options aren't healthy here. They are heavy on carbs and glisten with cooking oils from the fat fryers - chips, toasties, buns, fritters, hash browns etc. On the upside there is scrambled tofu, wilted greens and avocados within some dishes but its much easier to get a nutritious veggie option than vegan. Is it too much to ask to have at least one healthy, fresh, unprocessed vegan offering please?

Lovely place on Whiteladies Road - we were met by Alfie (lovely smile!) who showed us to our table, Matt brought our drinks, Leo brought our food - all very quick, efficient and friendly!

Really lovely food, I had the veggie muffin which was delicious. I have a gluten intolerance and staff were really accommodating. Special thanks to chef Elke who gave me extra pickles 🥒🥒 and Barista Jess who made a very nice cappuccino x

Please be aware that the chips are cooked in the same oil as egg and milk products. This was only mentioned on the toastie and not the burger. This was extremely disappointing to see, as I have had the chips for years as a strict vegan. Please make this warning across all products with the chips. We won’t be ordering food from here again, which is a shame because we have loved this company for years.

The food is fine and the location is convenient but I just can't get over their terrible app. It's awful and doesn't let you customize anything in a sensible way. It seem like an excuse to have zero service and no reduced cost.

Frankie our server was absolutely brilliant and suggested such delicious food!

Nice selection of fresh tea and updated November 2024, place is now overrun with dogs, paws on tables, even witnessed one urinating under the table. Avoid. Unless you like your cafe to smell of wet dog . dairy free milk available, soya, oat, almond. Gluten free chocolate brownie is a nice choice but a little dry when I visited. The cafe is large , You can order at the bar or via their app at your table which works well. Gluten free option available on the app as well. There was quite a few dogs when I visited some behaved some not so so if you have a dog allergy or children who are scared of dogs bare this in mind.

I've been there quite a few times and really like the place. Still, I think there are a few things Btp should improve once for all: The waiting time between when we get our hot drinks and when we get our food is unbearable, especially if the main purpose of going there for breakfast is to enjoy them together. If one of your customers is a 'big guy' (over 6'3) could you please offer them to sit in one of your 4 people tables instead of in one of your 2 people really tiny tables? Please don't be so shy with the napkins, I'd like to enjoy my food without thinking that I only have 1 small napking available. Cleanliness of the cutlery and kitchenware could be a bit better. The food was, as usual, really good, and the service very nice and attentive. Still think this is a great choice for an enjoyable brunch in Bristol.

Should have scored more, but the front door kept being propped open and the place was cold. Food looked really good but was just warm not hot. Everyone was using the accessible toilet downstairs including staff. I was sat nearby and could hear when the hand dryer was used. A staff member visited the toilet but didn't dry their hands. Not very reassuring. Doubt I'll visit again.

Great atmosphere and brilliant customer service. Limited vegan options, few full size tables making it a tight squeeze for a family of five. I’m not sure if they don’t have air-cons or were they not working this past weekend but it was rather hot with no open windows.

Felt a bit canteen like. Food was served on a cold plate and not as hot as I would have liked. QR code did not work and floor staff didn't offer a menu, I had to find it myself.

Have only had brunch there recently, but each time the food has been delicious. Highly recommend the avocado, smoked salmon and scrambled egg. Eggs are the perfect texture. Very friendly and attentive staff and a lovely building.

Not a fan of coffee chains, but this particular one is in an exceptionally nice building almost worth a visit just to see it. (Whiteladies Rd Bristol). Staff are always nice in this one, I think the ambience must rub off on them. Their scone jam and cream are surprisingly good.

My sister came to visit and took me to Boston Tea Party as a birthday treat. The atmosphere was lovely, great open space with large windows and lots of light. The customer service was excellent and the food was fantastic, I had the Sweetcorn Hash with poached eggs, it was delicious. I don’t like sriracha/chilli so asked if it was possible to have it without and they were very understanding and accommodating and gave plain maple syrup instead. I can honestly say it’s one of the best breakfasts/meals I’ve had, all the flavours worked really well together. As a vegetarian, who hates mushrooms and spicy food, I really struggle to find food I love, but the sweetcorn fritters were delicious, and worked so well with the halloumi, avocado, poached eggs and maple syrup. The sweetness of the maple syrup really complemented the saltiness of the halloumi. My sister also thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast. The only thing we didn’t enjoy so much were the smoothies. Usually I absolutely love smoothies but both smoothies we had weren’t very good, which was surprising as they used to do an amazing breakfast smoothie with oats and dates, but I know that was discontinued years ago. They only have a few smoothie options now but both the ones we tried just weren’t very pleasant. Usually I would go for fresh orange juice but I’ve previously had fresh orange juice from here a number of times and it’s been really horrible and bitter everytime. I know it completely depends on the oranges but whenever I get orange juice elsewhere it’s usually sweet and everytime I’ve had it here it’s really bitter, much paler in colour and really unpleasant to drink, so I knew not to risk trying it again and hence went for smoothies which thought would be a safe bet. Either way I would still definitely recommend Boston Tea Party I’ll just probably get water or tea next time, rather than the usual fresh orange juice or smoothie. Dropped a star because of drinks and cakes, which were also nowhere near as good as they used to be.

I’ve tried 1. Eggs Royale and 2. Sweetcorn hash and would definitely recommend 2 (because it tastes quite special, although 1 is also good). Friendly staff & nice vibe.

Yet again Boston Tea Party does not disappoint. Celebrating GCSE results today with a slap up Brunch. Brilliant Staff and Service. Delicious food. Can’t fault this place.

Met up with someone here for brunch- it’s a beautiful building inside and out, with a lovely and calm atmosphere. There’s an option to order your food and drink via a table QR code as opposed to standing in line, which can be good when busy. The food and drink was on the pricier side, but the quality is high and serving time was fast.

Me and a friend came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, the cafe had a lovely atmosphere with plenty of space and the service was quick and with a smile. I had the smoked salmon hash which was presented beautifully and the flavours worked perfectly. To drink I had the mango lassi, it was refreshing and delicious. Overall would highly recommended.

Me and my wife stumbled into the Boston tea party on a rainy day and were amazed by the lovely atmosphere of warm smiles of the staff. Especially the girl Sophie who was very welcoming, she went into great detail about what me and my wife should have for our afternoon brunch. I went for the big boss breakfast and my wife had the salmon and avocado. It was Devine and delicious. We shall be returning very soon!

Overpriced and cold. Light and relaxed but the cost and portions gets you like a their I'm the winter.

The food is soo good. Great vegan, veggie and gluten free options too. The space is big and open - perfect for big meet ups or meet ups with prams and babies. Service is always spot on too - the staff are friendly and helpful. I also love their commitment to sustainability - only reusable cups for takeaway which you can borrow and return (pay a deposit and you get it back in return). Boston Tea Party is always my go to place for coffee and / or brunch!!

Impeccable service by the lovely Joe! Delicious brunch with my girls! I had the vegetarian quesadilla which was divine. Really lemony home-made lemonade too which quenched my thirst perfectly.
