Lovely atmosphere, great food, hospitable

Felt a bit canteen like. Food was served on a cold plate and not as hot as I would have liked. QR code did not work and floor staff didn't offer a menu, I had to find it myself.

Bought a coffee and it was lovely, service was quick and staff were lovely! Our drinks were hot and our food was spot on! Will definitely return many more times👍.

Great options of food, an “everyone welcome” atmosphere that is fun and friendly attentive team. A rare place in Bristol where there is every type of person (and dog). Strong recommend.

Not a fan of coffee chains, but this particular one is in an exceptionally nice building almost worth a visit just to see it. (Whiteladies Rd Bristol). Staff are always nice in this one, I think the ambience must rub off on them. Their scone jam and cream are surprisingly good.

Have only had brunch there recently, but each time the food has been delicious. Highly recommend the avocado, smoked salmon and scrambled egg. Eggs are the perfect texture. Very friendly and attentive staff and a lovely building.

My sister came to visit and took me to Boston Tea Party as a birthday treat. The atmosphere was lovely, great open space with large windows and lots of light. The customer service was excellent and the food was fantastic, I had the Sweetcorn Hash with poached eggs, it was delicious. I don’t like sriracha/chilli so asked if it was possible to have it without and they were very understanding and accommodating and gave plain maple syrup instead. I can honestly say it’s one of the best breakfasts/meals I’ve had, all the flavours worked really well together. As a vegetarian, who hates mushrooms and spicy food, I really struggle to find food I love, but the sweetcorn fritters were delicious, and worked so well with the halloumi, avocado, poached eggs and maple syrup. The sweetness of the maple syrup really complemented the saltiness of the halloumi. My sister also thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast. The only thing we didn’t enjoy so much were the smoothies. Usually I absolutely love smoothies but both smoothies we had weren’t very good, which was surprising as they used to do an amazing breakfast smoothie with oats and dates, but I know that was discontinued years ago. They only have a few smoothie options now but both the ones we tried just weren’t very pleasant. Usually I would go for fresh orange juice but I’ve previously had fresh orange juice from here a number of times and it’s been really horrible and bitter everytime. I know it completely depends on the oranges but whenever I get orange juice elsewhere it’s usually sweet and everytime I’ve had it here it’s really bitter, much paler in colour and really unpleasant to drink, so I knew not to risk trying it again and hence went for smoothies which thought would be a safe bet. Either way I would still definitely recommend Boston Tea Party I’ll just probably get water or tea next time, rather than the usual fresh orange juice or smoothie. Dropped a star because of drinks and cakes, which were also nowhere near as good as they used to be.

I’ve tried 1. Eggs Royale and 2. Sweetcorn hash and would definitely recommend 2 (because it tastes quite special, although 1 is also good). Friendly staff & nice vibe.

Yet again Boston Tea Party does not disappoint. Celebrating GCSE results today with a slap up Brunch. Brilliant Staff and Service. Delicious food. Can’t fault this place.

Met up with someone here for brunch- it’s a beautiful building inside and out, with a lovely and calm atmosphere. There’s an option to order your food and drink via a table QR code as opposed to standing in line, which can be good when busy. The food and drink was on the pricier side, but the quality is high and serving time was fast.

Quick, efficient and most importantly tasty! The staff were welcoming and didn't let my empty plate sit for much longer than a minute which is perfect for me to get the laptop back out and continue with work!

Me and a friend came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, the cafe had a lovely atmosphere with plenty of space and the service was quick and with a smile. I had the smoked salmon hash which was presented beautifully and the flavours worked perfectly. To drink I had the mango lassi, it was refreshing and delicious. Overall would highly recommended.

Me and my wife stumbled into the Boston tea party on a rainy day and were amazed by the lovely atmosphere of warm smiles of the staff. Especially the girl Sophie who was very welcoming, she went into great detail about what me and my wife should have for our afternoon brunch. I went for the big boss breakfast and my wife had the salmon and avocado. It was Devine and delicious. We shall be returning very soon!

The food is soo good. Great vegan, veggie and gluten free options too. The space is big and open - perfect for big meet ups or meet ups with prams and babies. Service is always spot on too - the staff are friendly and helpful. I also love their commitment to sustainability - only reusable cups for takeaway which you can borrow and return (pay a deposit and you get it back in return). Boston Tea Party is always my go to place for coffee and / or brunch!!

Impeccable service by the lovely Joe! Delicious brunch with my girls! I had the vegetarian quesadilla which was divine. Really lemony home-made lemonade too which quenched my thirst perfectly.

Had a great lunch experience today. The atmosphere was lovely, service speedy and Chris (the manager I believe) made a recommendation for a tasty dish I wouldn't have thought to order and I loved it! Will definitely be returning again.

Really great brunch. Shout out to the lovely staff who were very accommodating when I was feeling hungry, and wanted some extra toast with my order.

Decidedly average. No one looked after our table. We asked our server (table 31) to bring beans in a separate dish and she ignored our request. We weren't offered sauces with our breakfast. No one came to check on us. Other families with kids who arrived were immediately offered paper & crayons for the kids, whereas we had to find out own after we'd seen other tables receive them. Very hard to get anyone's attention. Won't be returning.

Freezing cold even in sunny days!!

Went here for Lunch yesterday. Unfortunately the food came lukewarm/cold. Not any part of the meal was warm. Disappointed.

Great breakfast, worth a visit. We enjoyed it.

The menu is good and the building is so full of character, unfortunately there are cloud like 'foam sculptures' attached to the ceiling, they are awfully dusty and obscure a lovely ceiling. Looks like what my dog Douglas sleeps on. Apart from that the staff are friendly.

Matt served us and was absolutely fantastic. The food was great and very promptly served. Great variety on the menu for all dietary requirements. A must for breakfast, brunch, lunch or a coffee with a quick snack.

Such a lovely place to come for a coffee and a toastie! The young lady, assuming she was the manager on duty, greeting my mum and I on Mother’s Day was great, very helpful and got us seated straight away even when very busy inside! Customer service from the whole team was fantastic, the coffee was delivered to the table very fast and the toasties came soon after! Great portion sizes and very welcoming and will definitely be returning:)

Excellent Sunday breakfast. Think whatt I had was called sweetcorn fritters with halloumi & avocado (on their brunch menu). Service was prompt and very courteous and the food was excellent. My wife enjoyed her eggs Benedict too. If there was a slight criticism it'd be the food could have been hotter.

Mixed experience. The food was really nice and menu is good. The service was really off though. The restaurant is first come, first serve so there was a line when we arrived- absolutely expected. However, there were many empty tables around the entire time we were waiting to get to the front of the line (line was at a stand still and nobody was being seated for ages). Seemed very inefficient and was frustrating since we were with our two toddlers who just wanted to sit. Even more frustrating was when the table in front of us was finally seated, the host spent almost 5 minutes having a lengthy conversation with the table he seated. Meanwhile, there were several parties behind us and still a restaurant with many empty tables. Maybe it was a staffing issue but it was just odd. Ordered the food via the QR code at our table. My dish arrived without hollandaise sauce (a main feature of the dish) so had to find someone to rectify- which they did but we did have to wait a while. Once the food was resolved, it was really good!

What a delightful establishment and I could say the same about the sensational man that showed us to our seats. He was very friendly and was ready with our drinks within good time. Lovely warm atmosphere from the interior decor and from the Man. Would I come again you ask? You bet. But for now, ta ta!

Good coffee with my bro Jonny, served by Oscar he’s a real donny. Quick service fast like sonic, no bitterness in the coffee the baristas are on it. Prices are good let that be understood that Boston tea party only costing me partly, than any other cafe would. 10/10

Popped in here while visiting friends. Good selection of food and drink. Not pressured to leave as soon as we had finished. Stayed for several hours. I’ll come back again.

I find this coffee chain hit-and-miss. I am not generally fond of their food, but their cakes are usually good, and the coffee is sometimes interesting. I've recently got a guest coffee from them, which was very good and made me consider coming back more often. This particular location is nice inside and has lots of seating. However, take note that this shop requires you to bring your own coffee cup for takeaway, which makes it a no-go most of the time.

We come here a lot - always clean, a delicious menu and good coffee. Great for kids as can order from the table (saves queue sulks!) and a really tasty and flexible kids menu. Staff always friendly and efficient.

Our family loves eating at BTP, but this one is let down by being too popular. Despite seeing empty tables, there is frequently a queue to get in and then 30+ minute wait for food. Menu items are often sold out by lunchtime. The waiting staff are generally very friendly, and keep us updated, so I can’t fault them for that. It’s just a shame that they can’t seem to cope with the demand here. Edit: in response to the reply… Yes, this was Whiteladies Road. We were told that there would be a 30 minute wait for food, and 20 minute wait for drinks. There was an issue with the coffee machine. We ordered almond croissants from the app (anticipating the long wait for food) only to be then told they were sold out. I’m not making this stuff up, and it’s not the first time we’ve experienced this!
