A friendly town pub that is dog friendly. Only one real ale was available when I visited which was Wadworth 6X and was well kept.

Well presented, nice big garden out the back, pool table and handy location. Friendly staff and plenty of large tv screens for sports

Nice place to watch football, eat a very decent pizza and have a nice pint with a friendly crowd and nice staff

Great pizza. Great value. Had pepperoni with artichoke and my mate had Mexicana. Both excellent and had crispy base which is of course v important. Thanks team great job and atmosphere + football. Great stuff and a great hump day dinner and beers. Cheers Louis

Don't know what the pub is like but it advertise new pizza menu, eat in or takeaway, on the board outside. No mention that they don't do food between 3 and 6pm. Went in at 3.15 took my money and then told to late for food. Manager though did make the pizzas for me, but they were aweful. They were like stiff and brittal like a biscuit. Sorry not for me.

Called in and ordered pizzas, great service. Really good pizza - thin crispy base and good topping! Worth a visit, also lovely wine glasses 🍸🍷

Recently The Borough Arms has had a Pizza oven installed. The landlady proves her own dough. The pizza bases are amazing and the toppings fresh and inventive. Well done to The Borough, this is a nice addition. Mark

We visited late last year and were determine to pop in again when next passing. Pleased we did. Same friendly welcome, very good atmosphere in this popular local pub and above all, good menu choice, and tasty well presented meals. Happy to recommend as at 19 January 2019.

Dropped in to see the rejuvenated pub. Improved a lot in the last year. Well kept Wadworth ales. There was a nice Xmas cranberry pale ale. Very nice!

Popped in at the Borough Arms for a birthday meal in May. Tried the Chicken Supreme and was absolutely delighted! Delicious and tender, it has become a firm favourite. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and very welcoming. I highly recommend a visit, especially for a Sunday lunch should you be looking for excellent food and an affordable price. You won’t be disappointed...

Dropped in to check out the beers again. Wadworth not my fave but tried two halves and very nice. Pub transformation in last six months with new Landlady.

Lovely friendly pub just recently started doing food. We tried the chicken burger, the goats cheese and butternut squash lasagne and the chocolate brownie all were really good and very tasty. Would definitely recommend the Borough for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and great food.

Just had a butternut and goats cheese lasange from the Borough's new menu and it was excellent. I'm not a vegetarian and don't usually go for meat free dishes but this sounded good. It was better than good. Probably the best vegetarian meal I've had, it was creamy, full of flavour and the goats cheese was an unusual and brilliant addition. Highly recommended to both meat eaters and vegetarians.

Wow what a change here in a few months. Sylvi took over at the end of last year and the place is buzzing. Real local hotspot now and a selection of 4 Wadworth ales. Although not my favourite brewery the beer is good and excellent atmosphere.

Not a Wadworth fan I have to admit, but this pub keeps it quite well. Tried two ales of the four which the new Landlady Sylvie keeps well. It was closed for refurbishing last time we passed but now buzzing with locals.

Food, Beer, service, ambience make this a must visit. Formerly the Plume the name change and new ownership has made this very good indeed

Looked forward to visiting on our Hungerford pub crawl but the pub seemed to be shut on this occasion. Not sure if it was bad luck or whether it is more permanent. Perhaps others can comment.

This newly taken over pub now has the feel that every woman wants, in that she can walk in to the pub on her own and feel welcome. The new landlady is adorable. My new favourite drinking hole!

Dropped in to try the beers and pleased to say three on under guidance of Sylvi the new Landlady. 6x and Swordfish was good. Free crisps too!

Continuing our beers of Hungerford trip. The pub has Wadworth and just 6X. As it goes in fact a reasonable taste. Very busy locals pub.

Cayó en un pub crawl para probar el cervezas ale. Encontramos solo una y fue 6 x 6 para Bien X. pero no es mi favorito. Bueno aunque pub y ambiente.

Cayó en una visita al pub Hungerford sólo para comprobar la cerveza. Por desgracia sólo 6 x que no es mi favorito. En realidad era bastante agradable. Acogedor fuego. Pero sólo media y cambiar

Llamamos para una rápida pinta una noche mientras esperando una comida de uno de los locales de comida para llevar. Nos gustó tanto que volvimos para comer un par de días más tarde. Una fuente preciosa de varios bits y piezas para compartir disfrutamos en la zona del jardín. Buena relación calidad-precio y un servicio amable, rápido, definitivamente lo recomiendo!

The Borough Arms is located at the top of Hungerford High Street.The pub has a lovely atmosphere and serves a good pint. This is a Wadworth pub, the Landlord, Darren and his staff are always friendly.The Borough shows both BT and Sky Sports, has 2 pool tables, and a dart board.For the summer you have a well kept beer garden and in the winter the roaring log burner.Well worth a visit

Came here as it is my new 'local.' the man behind the bar was incredibly rude, I wouldn't go here again. I had been once before when there was a lady behind the bar, who was absolutely lovely, so I guess it depends who you get. I'm certainly never going again!!!
