Boozy Tea Room Hippodrome Casino in City of London, Westminster

Love this place. Always my go to bar when I’m in Soho and it’s overly busy elsewhere.

Nice bar but the drinks are extortionate

Spent Saturday evening of pride weekend on the rooftop and the atmosphere was absolutely stellar. Everyone in great form, the staff were so helpful making room for my party of two in the crowded rooftop, and checking in that all was good throughout the evening. The rooftop is currently doing a margarita summer so there is a special menu with lots of inventive different variations on the classic cocktail. We got the strawberry basil and then ordered a platter of dumplings from chop chop, the Chinese restaurant downstairs (but the food gets brought up - and you can do the same with the other restaurants in the casino). Really can’t recommend this place enough!!

every weekend i go with my mates for drinks. always we are always very well welcome by erica and tatiana. they are very professional with a big smile on their faces. higly recomended

We ate and drank something small before and after the Magic Mike performance. The prices are rather high but ok for the middle of London. The food was ok, but the drinks were very good.

There is a pervasive culture at this location (casino included) of doing the absolute bare minimum. To get in here, the outside security must first deem you ok, going so far as to say you need a membership even though the website clearly says "No membership required." There is a problem in this place with the management setting a tone for their employees to follow, which allows abuse of their policies. A security guard and a lazy front desk person stand out when you know how a casino, a restaurant, and/or a customer service related place should act.

No food. Went for drinks. Lovely rooftop terrace. Great service, good drinks 🍸 👌

Kristo has been so kind and professional bartender. Deserve a promotion to be honest! Best quality for a bar servicing staff! Always so respectful.

Visited the rooftop bar with friends for drinks and nibbles on a week night. We were looked after by Flavio, who delivered very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly service! 5* food, drinks, service and venue - highly recommend!

Over priced, rude staff , especially the young waitress on this afternoon noon . just kept staring at everyone,especially the beautiful girls , hint of jealously definitely don't recommend

The drinks were ok, overpriced for what they were. Can not vouch for the quality of food, never got to order any because the manager/hostess was EXTREMELY RUDE! Talking to your customers in a very dismissive and patronising way with a smirk on the face is definitely not the way to do business!! How awful! Completely ruined the fun experience our group had watching the show downstairs. Not coming back!!!

Not clean but the outdoor seating is nice

it was an unpleasant experience on the rooftop bar. We ordered a Barolo which was most likely badly preserved and the cork had come out by a few millimeters, the wine was really acidic and when it was time to change it, Jessica felt compelled to point out that the other wines were less expensive. first waitress we asked to decant the wine did not know what it was, while "the most experienced" does not know how to use it since in the end she only emptied the bottle into the decanter without worrying about possible sediments (in fact also ruining the second bottle a Pinot Noir). This place is fine for cocktails or beer but in terms of wines and knowledge of them, it is very poor

Great vibes. however ruined as the manager is on a high horse and thinks she is the queen of Sheeba. So incredibly rude. Don’t waste your time money or good vibes here.

Never come here. The service is terrible. You aren’t allowed to have a tab even if you have a table and have to pay every time you buy a drink or food. And even if you’re spending money and drinking, they’ll kick you out after 1.5 hours in a very rude way. Never again.

Fab place to visit if you're in the area. Great cocktails. Friendly staff. Fantastic decor. And just an overall happy experience. I'll be returning here again!

Very nice restaurant, I worked in the area and was meaning to go for a while. I booked this place for my 21st bday with 7 friends, we felt disregarded and not looked after the whole time, most floor staff had an attitude and were rushing us every step till we finished our food and then never came back for drink orders, really ruined the experience.

Good drinks , the terrace is quite nice especially when the sun is out.

I have been twice to the roof top terrace. First time I was with a friend and we had a booking, we had some food (nibbles) and couple of drinks. I have to say that the food is not amazing, but you go there for the open air space, the view and the very nice place, you cannot have it all! Second time I was with a friend and we didn't have any booking but we tried our luck. We got in on a busy Sat night and our table was even better than first time!

Had a lovely evening at the Rooftop last night, the cocktails were awesome and the staff were great. Only thing was that when it started raining we had to sit next to smokers, there is no covered space for non smokers. We asked the staff if there was a space away from the non smokers but they told us as the roof was broken there was not anywhere under cover. Its a shame as its a lovely space with great cocktails and friendly staff. Would go back but not until the roof is fixed.

Wonderfully good! As a group of 12 ladies awaiting the magic Mike performance we were always going to be a challenge. However Serena and team served us seamlessly and with amazing customer service ! Split bills x 12 need I say more! The food was actually really rather good ! Surprisingly so especially being in Leicester Square and also very reasonably priced. Defo recommend and the decor is quite chic! Xx

Had a drink here before dinner at the Heliot. An underrated spot, it is beautifully decorated and has a very welcoming atmosphere. Vesa cocktail was delicious. Proximity to the restaurant makes it the perfect spot for a pre or post dinner drink!

Pre show drinks . Tables booked and ready. Attentive staff and relaxing feel. My cocktail "make me blush" was delicious! So much so I've booked again.

UNACCEPTABLE RIP OFF of 100£ from students - I, a student, booked this venue for tonight for 5 people and thought the menu prices were great - as I was booking, my laptop turned off so I did not get to read the policy as I was in hurry to book the venue. I then saw today that it is 50£ per person!!! and 20£ per person for cancellation - I am now paying a 100£ due to cancellation for something I did not even consume. I called them to try and negotiate but no, no empathy. Truly disgusting, hippodrome you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The service was excellent, the food very tasty, and the atmosphere 10/10!

As soon as arrived in the West End, after wandering around, we went to the Hippodrome: we thought it was a touristic place, but during pandemic time.... all good. We have been welcomed by Bruno and Cristiana, the bar lady made the Martini as we asked, the cocktails list is contemporary and intriguing and we have other excellent cocktails suggested by Cristiana, the food was very good and we enjoyed. All other member of staff and security at entrance were very professional, kind , attentive to particulars and Covid-19 restrictions, Well done , thanks guys!

Agradable y acogedor bar lejos de los concurridos bares en y alrededor del área principal del casino. El personal del bar era amable.

Visité ayer con 3 de mis amigas, ¡qué lugar tan increíble! Todo el personal fue muy amable, educado y profesional, especialmente Renata y Fabian, que nos sirvieron y se aseguraron de que nuestros vasos siempre estuvieran llenos. La comida era realmente encantadora, el servicio absolutamente excepcional y una excelente relación calidad-precio teniendo en cuenta que teníamos nuestros vasos constantemente rellenados sin tener que pedir. El encantador personal también se tomó el tiempo de explicar qué era la comida, cómo funcionaba la oferta, verificó las alergias y preguntó si queríamos intercambiar artículos si no nos gustaba algo. Incluso tenía planchas gratis en los baños ¡Todos tuvimos la mejor tarde, una experiencia increíble, un poco dolor de cabeza hoy!

Great atmosphere, great cocktails, fab music, lovely waitress. Could not have been better for pre drinks before an amazing show for a girlfriends surprise 50th celebration.

I came to the Hippodrome Casino with a group of friends for the boozy brunch. The tea room looks really well done up and has a great atmosphere. Everything about our visit was 5*, including our lovely waitress Renata. She was very attentive and made sure we were constantly topped up with prosecco! The selection on the afternoon tea stand was very good. All of the food was very tasty and of high quality. I'd highly recommend The Boozy Tea Room for bottomless brunch, well worth the price. My friends and I had a great time.
