I went for afternoon tea today with 6 friends and it was excellent, the food was extremely tasty and great value, the customer service was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it. Special thanks to Mandy who gets 10 out of 10 for the care, time and effort she put in , Mandy gets a 10 out of 10 , definitely a credit to you Booths 😀

Having fallen in the car park, a lady customer alerted staff and several came to my aid. Two lady staff members, apologies didn’t get their names, and three gentleman including Phillip, Matt and the gentleman who looks after the trouts/car park and outside areas. They helped me up, gave me a cup of tea and let me recover a bbq little. I managed to get to friends who took me to urgent care upon X-ray discovered I’d broken my arm at the top of my shoulder. The were exceptionally caring and you must be proud to have them all.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea on Mothers Day with my mum who thoroughly enjoyed herself. Great food and a real effort had been made with the tables, gift bags and overall presentation. Special mention for team member, Monica, who couldn’t do enough for everyone there and looked after us from start to finish.

Lovely surroundings but service poor. Order muddled and tables not clean. Too many staff standing around doing nothing. Food OK.

Afternoon tea yesterday. Excellent - slight criticsm - butter needs softening so that it spreads- everything else brillant. Friendly and helpful staff

Over priced, un trained rude staff, café is poor and stocked with odd food stuffs and little mainstream dishes. Would it be too much to ask for Booths to police its dropping off zone car park areas from habitual 'it's my private car park space' users. I regularly see empty parked cars there and cars with disabled passengers struggling in the bays.

Met up with some family members for a catch up and a cup of coffee. The cafe was spotlessly clean and it had a decent variety of food and drink. Would meet up again and perhaps sample some food next time.

Great and clean place to shop. All staff are helpful and happy to help. Great fresh produce and well presented products. Some of the special offers are a bit confusing but staff quickly explained

This is an excellent cafe within a supermarket, one of the best I have seen. Booths is a superb supermarket, and I am lucky that it is 'my corner shop' !! As I shop there regularly, also often take the opportunity to have a coffee / drink & cake as so convenient. The space of this cafe is most pleasant, has a lovely ambience, very light & spacious, you do not feel that you are within the bounds of a supermarket......good planning ! The decor also very calm, lovely colours, comfy chairs, relaxing, good to sit and read a paper too. Being a cardholder entitles you to half price hot drinks so makes it very reasonably priced. Drinks are good quality, cakes very tempting & delicious. So just the perfect place for us to stroll around the corner, and enjoy both pleasant shopping experience and cafe. Thank you. Keep the Gin Evenings coming !!

Went for afternoon tea to Booths as it had been given to us as a present at Christmas. After seeing the somewhat disappointing results at the other local booths we opted for this one on Heyhouses Lane.We telephoned first to see if we needed to book and the lady who took our call was very courteous and helpful. See reserved a table for us and gave us her name which was Jo.When we arrived a table had been reserved and Jo was extremely efficient and helpful. We had a lovely afternoon tea consisting of egg, ham and tuna sandwiches, scones, jam and cream and a selection of cakes including flapjacks, chocolate cake, lemon drizzle cake and millionaires shortbread. The cafe was clean, spacious and very pleasant. We really enjoyed our visit and managed to do our shopping on the way out! Perfect!!

We are new to Booth's and have been most impressed on the couple of occasions that we have called here for lunch. The cafe has high ceilings and is light and airy, doors to outside seating in good weather. Tables are set well apart and there is a mixture of hard and soft seating. When we were there, they had put on a good display of cookbooks on a set of bookshelves on the far wall and other small items.Diners queue at the counter to order and pay and you carry your own tray to the table. We had two of the three soups of the day - Burnley Broth for one of us and Pumpkin, Coconut and Ginger for the other. Actually, we were each struck with food envy for what the other one had, so solved the problem by each drinking half the bowl and then swapping. Both soups, whilst being completely different in texture and taste, were delicious, steaming hot, generous portions and served with crusty rolls and butter.Unlike the Booths in Carnforth, there didn't appear to be trolleys where you could deposit your tray when finished, which we would have been happy to use.Toilets adjacent to the cafe and everything on ground floor level for easy access. A really upmarket supermarket cafe and clearly popular with regulars, there seemed to be a good number partaking of the afternoon tea.I wish we had Booths where we live.

Easily the best baked potatoes that we have had - very mild criticism that there maybe wasn't enough mayo with the tuna, but the portions were excellent. Not so good was the hotpot, which bore no relation to real hotpot and was really some non-descript finely chopped carrots and small bits of meat in a non-descript gluey brown sauce. The café/restaurant is light and airy, and the staff very nice. Prices were good. I'd go back again, but not for the hotpot

They had a fairly good selection of items available however when we visited the bakery table in the middle of an isle the product had a fly on it since it wasn’t covered over! I think to improve they could have a bigger bakery selection and cover it over so fly’s cannot dance over them. Also prices are a bit expensive but what can you expect.

Wonderful cafe, very peaceful due to the high ceilings, great friendly service, great value for money. Its that good I sometimes visit 3 times a week. Having to pay half price for you coffee as a Booths cardholder is still great value for money.

Went for afternoon tea with a group of friends and was very impressed. I love Booths although it's quite pricey, so I was amazed at what you got for £7.50 a head. (6.25 if you're a Booths cardholder)

I love Booths stores and this was another good one. It's clean and tidy, staff are friendly and willing to have a chat whilst serving. The carpark is large but has ANPR so you can't stay longer than three hours. The product range in store varies from your common everyday brands to local Premium top quality produce. The pricing is reasonable. Free trolleys, a nice range of Booths bags that can be brought

There are no comfortable chairs in the cafe and the whole area is cold and clinical. The food on offer is limited and mainly you have to go into the store to get hot food ,then bring it back to the cafe area.

Service here is at the pace of the proverbial snail, totally disorganised. As for clearing tables, well, sadly, that is seldom within their repertoire.

Decided to visit Booths cafe to have the free brew with a cake with our cards, instead we decided to have the afternoon tea, fantastic choice. Large pot of tea and a good selection of sandwiches arrived as for the price, well I shall be paying three times as much at a place near Skipton on Sunday but I don't think it will be three times as good, well done Booths.

Always visit this store when in St Annes. Well designed wide aisles with extensive choice of world beers and wine. Deli has a good choice of cheeses/meats etc and has the usual high standards of the Booths chain stores

My Son and Husband took me here for a mothers day afternoon tea. It was amazing. We were seated and given a glass of prosecco each. We were then brought a large pot of tea served in lovely Denby pottery. Then the waitress came over with a large cake stand with, 4 quarters of tuna mayo sandwiches, 4 egg mayo and 4 ham. 2 large fruit scones with 2 small jars of jam and 2 individual pots of clotted cream. 2 small slices of lemon cake, 2 small slices of chocolate cake, 2 small pieces of millionaires shortcake and two small pieces of raspberry flapjack. It was absolutely delicious. Then the waitress came over and handed me and all the mums who were having afternoon tea a goody bag, which contained a small flower in a ceramic pot, a large bar of white chocolate and some apple and bramble tea bags. I felt totally spoilt. Even more amazing was for all this it only cost £12.50 with a booths card or £15 if not. Amazing value, amazing service, amazing afternoon tea. My only suggestion which could make it perfect, and it is only a tiny thing, I think there should be an option of plain scones. But this would not stop me going back and highly recommending it to anyone.

After visiting Gabriella's (same business owners) across the road and being informed that they had no breakfasts available at midday (wtf) we decided to visit Black Sheep and regretfully I won't be returning. Order placed relatively simply but this is when it went wrong. Waitress took our drinks to wrong table. Waited overly long for breakfast which was also taken to the wrong table. Then no cutlery. No offer of sauces or salt and pepper. I had to go and collect cutlery from another table. Food was cold, poached egg overcooked, bacon undercooked, toast buttered (I'd like to choose whether I have my toast buttered). Honestly was incredibly poor and we chose a local business over Wetherspoons up the way. AVOID!
