To the lads who took so much care preparing my ix cheeks gihost last night, thanks. It was lovely.

Honestly. EXPENSIVE for a TINY portion. It's outrageous they can charge £5 for tiny bowl of fries. I had ordered the beef dripping chips. They were skin on french fries in rice bowl, over salted and a mix of undercooked and overcooked. The beef sandwich, which was £12, was tiny, it came on a side plate (for photo scale)! Very very disappointing. Do yourself a favour and sweve. My friend had the burger, and it looked like a kids portion. He had to order the chips separately too. P.s a 330ml fruit cider was £5.75. Liberties were taken. Won't be back and will be very vocal about duke street market (though some of the other food concessions seem to deliver a better fare) we chose bone and block and it was a disappointment.

I ordered the sausage and mash. The flavours were delicious and the service and atmosphere was great. But, the portion size was ridiculously small. I even joked about it with the server asking if I'd been brought a children's meal by mistake. The quantity of mash was like a dessert spoon full with two regular sized sausages and two small pieces of broccoli. Mine was the last meal to arrive and the first to be eaten. I hate leaving a bad review so really wish I'd taken a photo to back up my words. I hardly ever visit town so maybe this is the new standard portion size.

Taste great but ribeye size is small for the price. Left wanting more meat, better going to places that offer bigger cuts.

Had a great experience with bone and block. The steaks are such good quality and cooked perfectly. The food is fresh and great value for money.

Great steakhouse concept in a unique environment. Food was excellent, service was great and the vibes were great - would highly recommend

We recently visited Duke Street Market and while we had some amazing dishes from other vendors - we we’re blown away by Bone and Block, we had the ‘Steak Frites’ Rump Steak with peppercorn sauce and beef dripping fries.. It feels like a throwback, a classic old school steakhouse where the meat takes centre stage! We also managed to squeeze in the Char Sui pork belly bites - Unreal! 5/5 🙌🏻

Top steak house. One of the best steaks I’ve had. I had a T-bone and some truffle chips. All cooked perfectly . The atmosphere is great too, set in Duke St Food & Drink Market. My kids had a pizza from the pizza restaurant there too which was a win for us both

Visited bone and block last week with our family from down south. They and us over the moon with our food absolutely faultless. Would highly recommend fantastic value for money and top quality. Thank you very much.

Had a really bad meal here. Ordered the beef brisket ‘sandwich’ and it was served on a stale hot dog bun. The beef was also cold. The restaurant was empty too. Won’t be returning.

Time after time the best steak about. Amazing value and fantastic cut of Rump.

Ordered the £10 'crispy pork belly'. It took ages to arrive - and when it did - it was a small sliver of meat drowned in an overly-tart apple puree. It tasted alright - but for £10 you'd either expect a far bigger portion OR a better balance of flavours. I wish the menu was more up front about what exactly you're ordering. When I paid £10 I didn't expect such a puny slice of meat. Just disappointing.

Shepherds pie is signature dish here. £14 for a small portion with no side vegetables or anything. Mash was very thin and water like in consistency. Was very unimpressed. I would not return.

This place never disappoints. My all tike favourite place in Liverpool for food.

Good quality steak for a reasonable price.

We found this place quite by accident after getting lost looking for the Albert Dock 😀. We are so glad we did. The food was amazing. My wife had the steak and chips and I had the steak sandwich. Everything was amazing. We will 💯 per cent return

I think this was a fluke… Steak was T O U G H, you can see how dry it was from the photo… There were 2 choices when I ordered, pink and well done… I chose “pink” which should be medium, but i got medium well, almost well done… Other than the toughest steak i’ve ever had in my life, chips, watercress, and peppercorn sauce were great.. What a shame I paid £17 for this :(… Utterly disappointed…..

Been following these on instagram for a while now finally managed to get down there and was not disappointed! Got the steak fries and gravy wow was absolutely gorgeous! Couldn’t recommend enough would definitely go again.

We ordered rib eye, it was very well done, the potato was crispy and staff was good, the concept of the restaurant has 6 different cuisines such as seafood, Italian, hamburger, Mexican, veggie.., but it was too much before Champion League final match😅

Bone and block took my order, took my money gave delivery date of friday, then 4.09pm on Thursday said it wouldnt arrive until saturday! Missing my major birthday and the whole reason for my order. Now they have stated it wont arrive until moday! They will not respond to calls emails or texts to arrange a refund . Really disapointing and will be incontact with trading standards, best avoiding bone and block for a time specific special occasions.!

If you want meat at the Duke Street Market, definitely chose Bone & Block. Good quality steak, well cooked, probably the sauce can be improved. Another point to improve is that the piece of meat is too small. But I enjoyed my meal and, as said before, everything was fine.

A hidden gem of the Liverpool food scene. It’s extremely apparent how much love, passion and finesse goes into such breath taking food. From eggs and avocado at brunch, a mouth watering Reuben sandwich for lunch and all the way to a mighty, mighty 1kg Cote de boeuf for dinner (not all consumed in one day). Service always with a smile combined with professional knowledge and precision cooking brings us back time and time again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Get yourself down to bone and block if you care about high quality, locally sourced produced cooked by chefs who take care and pride in high quality service. The most delicious dry aged beef I have ever tasted. I ordered from the online butcher service. It arrived 2 days later and even got a how to cook the perfect steak video.

Cannot rate these guys highly enough, their steaks are absolute heaven and probably the best I've had in Liverpool. Their beef burger is on another level too. The only criticism I could give is that I now walk into DSM with complete tunnel vision to their menu!

Simply great stuff! Good selection of different steaks cooked to your liking, chefs are very helpful if you need any recommendation or you have any special dietary requirements. You can even buy some steaks to cook at home! They do kids burgers which my kids love (obviously with red sauce!). Next time you are in town it's worth going to the market to eat stuff of Bone and Block

Estos chicos son fabulosos: el mejor bistec que he probado en mucho tiempo y el personal fue muy servicial, ya que uno de nosotros tiene celíacos y necesita un plato estrictamente libre de gluten. Llevaron sus papas fritas a otro puesto para cocinarlas y eliminar la contaminación cruzada, esto estaba más allá de lo que harían la mayoría de los lugares. No me puedo quejar, la comida era perfecta y una gran experiencia. ¡Gracias chicos!

He cenado aquí en múltiples ocasiones y la calidad de la comida nunca deja de ser excelente. Recomiendo encarecidamente el cordero tostado y el sándwich Reuben.

These guys have it right and have adapted so well to gov lock down constraints by shipping the most excellent steaks that can be ordered on line. All the positives of the previous review, but online ordering too!!

THE steaks of all steaks!! You have to try to believe how good these guys are, the quality is fantastic, the service that they've provided during lockdown has been superb too! Fully recommend.

Best steak I’ve ever had hands down. Visited in duke st market back in March & been missing it since lockdown. Ordered their big steak pack online and I’m massively impressed. Come with a cooking guide too which (nearly) helped me cook it just as the guys themselves! Will he ordered online again and counting down the minutes until the kitchen is back open!

Dined in DSM & ordered online after seeing they set up a website. Hands down the best meat i've ever had - comes with a handy cooking guide to cooking the perfect steak (which I definitely needed!). Will definitely be ordering again

Called in on saturdayat duke street food market to have a look around and saw people eating steak and eggs which looked very tempting,so called back the following evening,unfortunately no eggs !!! only in a morning !!! But had two ribeye steaks with chips one chimichurri sauce and one peppercorn sauce £56.50. steaks were delicious cooked over charcoal would reccomend
