Bon Appetit in Aylesbury Vale

I just got charged £28 for 2 cold kebabs instead of £18! Just because me and my partner sat inside! The guy behind the till pulled out an entirely different menu with £5 charge per seat. Absolute rip off! I was a regular take out customer but not anymore that’s for sure.

I’m not the sort of person that would complain but I paid £10 bill with a £20 note and got £2 change.it wasn’t until while I was eating that I confidently was sure i should of got more change but as I find myself forgetting things.i was not confident.food was good though and atmosphere was good

Best kebab in town served by the loveliest staff! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Foods lovely the portion sizes are great and good prices too recommend the breakfasts

Extremely rude staff and discriminated us never go there again the guy who work there just started to shouting for no reason probably he is racist don’t go there much better place around

We have been going to Bon Appetite for a long time. I come from Bournemouth and my daughter is very fussy on her kebabs. It was her 30th Birthday, on coming back from a day out. We treated my daughter and family. There response is that it was the best kebab she has ever had. All I can say is thank you for ending her 30th with the greatest kebab she has ever eaten. X

To say I'm disappointed is an under statement, havnt been for a long time with working away and was desperate to get my lovely kebab.... Having had amazing portion size and tastiness I was disappointed to get my large shish kebab that contained 4 small cubes of meat a flat pitta bread with a small teaspoon of salad and chips that had definitely seen better days. It wasn't busy so there was no excuse for this , the food cost a lot of money but i had 4 pounds of food from the 35 I paid I would never go again after going for over 10 years.

By far the best quality kebab and selection of salads/sauces I have had in Aylesbury and surrounding areas. Not only is the food to die for but the customer service is top notch!

First time I tried this place. The food was burnt and tasteless the portion was very small. Over priced they only accept cash. I won’t be going there in a rush.

Friend suggested this place for being good and the best kebabs in Aylesbury but they let us down. 2 mixed kebabs with cheese, chill sauce and garlic sauce plus chips and cheese for £35. One kebab had 2 bits of chicken and one had 3 bits missing cheese. The chips was a tiny box. Called them a few times and they didn't want to rectify the issues. Never again will me, friends or partner will order again from them.

Ordered two mixed kebabs with cheese, chilli sauce and garlic sauce plus chips and cheese £35 it cost. Missing cheese on one kebab, 3 bits of chicken on one and 2 on the other and a tiny box of cheese. £35 is alot of money just for what i got i was told i was supposed to get 4 bits off chicken on both. They haven't bothered to rectify the problem even though i have been a customer for many years. Pretty disgusting and i sometimes have 2 takeaways aweek with friends. They lost not just me but 2 other customers.

When I lived there years ago, I ate my meals there every day. It was incredibly delicious food. The owner and staff were interested and friendly. Definitely a great place to visit.

Great lamb shish kebab with lovely salad and a pot of houmous, forgotten how good kebabs were until I had this very tasty one. Would highly recommend this lovely takeaway/restaurant!😃xx

Always eaten kebabs from here and best in Aylesbury. Just had a full breakfast in their cafe opposite and I have to say 10/10! Beautiful food, lovely chap serving me and if you have a big appetite…. The full breakfast is a feast! 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast in Aylesbury! Awesome place!

We ordered two kebabs- One a large chicken Shish and the other a mixed kebab plus chips. Both kebabs were absolutely delicious and better than a previous one we had ordered from Atalay in Thame. Will definitely order from here again. Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed!

We spent £30 and had to throw away half of the order, long black hairs entwined into the chips and into the meat. It was really disgusting! I called them as soon as I could to get my money back but they said they would only replace the food. Once you have an experience like that you don't want to eat there again!! Very disappointed....

Previous review I gave a bad review as I’d had to wait 3 hours for a delivery, I’d like to update since and say this is the only kebab shop we use in Aylesbury. Always order for collection now and it’s always ready when I arrive. Food is always top quality and very tasty! Thanks guys love Jordan ;)

The guys always nice and helpful. The restaurant is always clean and everything is fresh. The best kebab in Aylesbury definitely.

Went in after the theatre to grab a quick bite to eat. After ordering and the kebab being made I was told cash only. Frustratingly went to the nearest cash point without argument. When I got back to the kebab shop I was told I had ordered a large with in fact I hadn't and when questioned got told that a large is better. Seems that they try and take the mickey on either people that want food without an argument or drunk people.kebab really was not very good so would not recommend on basis of customer service and ethics.

Absolute rip-off. £12.50 X-Large Lamb Shish, 8 bits of lamb, very small. £3 for a small box of fries. Credit to the take-away, they refunded my money. However, I wont be going back again.

Purchased the £20 box thinking it would be nice. Supposed to be mixture of lamb and chicken shish, lamb kofte, lamb doner and veg kebab, all we received was basically the last knockings of dry overcooked lamb doner. 2 bites of lamb shish 2 bites of chicken shish, a pitta bread that was stale and a basic salad. Dont waste your time going here. Very poor service and even worse food. One of the worst kebab places in Aylesbury.

So this was the second time I’ve ever ordered from this place. I admit, the food was lovely. However, I booked my food for delivery this evening and had a phone call within 10 minutes of placing the order. The man on the phone told me I had to pay £2 due to the fact of the area I lived in…this didn’t say it on the website though? And not did I get charged for this last time I ordered. I told him I won’t be paying the £2 charge as it wasn’t advertised and he proceeded to basically shout at me on the phone telling me “WELL DONT ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN THEN”. Soon after I put him in his place about his appalling customer service. He then told me I don’t have to pay it on this occasion. I absolutely will never be ordering from this place again and I recommended NOBODY to order from there, the only rating they will be getting from me is 1 star. This place is clearly not fit for purpose, and clearly do not care about losing customers. Who knows, maybe they charge you extra on your food too without you realising, check your receipts!!!

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Bon Appetite, a Turkish kebab shop that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a clean and inviting atmosphere, as well as a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The food at Bon Appetite was truly exceptional. The chicken kebabs were particularly noteworthy, as the new grill they recently installed added an extra layer of succulence and flavor to the meat. It was clear that a lot of care went into preparing the food, and it really showed in the final product. In addition to the delicious food, the service at Bon Appetite was impeccable. The staff were attentive and made sure to check in on us throughout the meal to ensure that we had everything we needed. They even went above and beyond by bringing out some complimentary baklava for us to try. It was a small gesture, but it really added to the overall dining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Bon Appetite to anyone looking for a delicious and professional dining experience. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. I will definitely be returning to this establishment in the future.

Portions are too small. The pictures provided are without the pitta bread to show how much meat is actually given. I gave three stars as the food is good and the pleace is very clean but the portions are too small for the price. 1 portion of chips, 1 chicken shish and 1 shish kofta total price £15:00. Pictures are below, see if you would be happy with the quantity.

Positives:The restsurant was clean. The food was tasty and plenty to fill us up. Negatives: The restaurant is small; tight seating for approx 20 people. Restaurant only open in the evening. No child seats. Not suitable for wheelchair users.

Not been for a few years and have had kebabs from other places. It’s only when you go back to Bon Appetit you realise just how good they are compared to their rivals. Tasty meats, fresh salads and it’s great the way the pitta bread soaks up all the juices. At other places the pitta is like dry, tasteless cardboard. Highly recommended. I’ll be back again ASAP.

My friend and I have eaten here nearly every Saturday (apart from lockdowns) for a few years. Fresh well cooked food. Decent portions. Always piping hot. Such a friendly place

We ordered food but never gave us the correct amount e.g we asked for 4 chicken burger meal but only gave us 1 like come on you rested the order what I said on the phone and still get it wrong not going there again

Used to be my favorite kebab shop In Aylesbury but today was the Driest chicken shish and rice and my missus mixed lamb donner and shish was the same we may aswell have eaten a card board box and saved space in our recycling bin.

Have used them for years and then stopped as last few deliveries were not good but decided to give them another try tonight - never again order was cold,completely wrong and just awful- complained and the right order turned up 20 mins later, hot, right food and an apology but should have been right the first time

Good standard of cleanliness and they do a decent poached eggs with mushrooms. Friendly staff and a very good range at reasonable prices. They were also open earlier than other similar places which helped me.

Myself and a friend visited here today for breakfast. As far as im concerned it was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Plenty of it, non greasy, extremely tasty and great coffee too. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The food tastes great but advise caution when they cook raw chicken as they use the same tongs for raw and cooked. I have had to pull them up on this a couple of times. I won't eat there again.

well, the one on the left hand side does breakfasts and lunch - open till about 5 pm when the other one kinda opens doing kebabs and late night food. Both are brilliant and I understand that both owners are great friends. It's a long story. So, the cafe version - brilliant coffee, great lunches and breakfasts and very popular. Great atmosphere and really nice people who have a chat, smile a lot. Nice to sit outside at one of the little tables with a coffee and watch the world go by for a few minutes. The kebab shop version - excellent kebabs, always people in there, good for a laugh and really tasty. Go to either or both, they're great places.

Not visited for some time as I no longer live close, but popped,in when I was in the area. Very busy Friday night, all a bit chaotic, but they do manage to get it all together to produce very good, tasty kebabs. Got to be the best kebabs in Aylesbury .

I was told that this is the best place to eat in Aylesbury, it definitely was not. Even though the food is cooked fresh, it is too over cooked to the point it is rubbery and chewy. I did not enjoy my meal and wouldn't go there again.

Lived in Aylesbury for 13 years and never been here, my sister recommended to me so I gave it a try. Why is this the first time I'm eating in this place, the food is delicious and the staff are so very friendly. The food is cooked to perfection and taste amazing. Highly recommended.
