Me & my brothers had a get together in my garden shed pub so decided on Bombay spice for a takeaway.. everything was spot on.. nice & spicy 🔥

More stars are deserved.Had a great take away tonight really good quality perfectly delivered in the pouring rain.Less than 20 quid for 2people with all the little extras.Good hot food.

Had butter chicken from here tonight and peshwari naan. Naan had zero taste may as well have been bland, curry not much better very watery and full of oil and just bland. Wouldn’t eat here again.

Super meals mild curries are very popular and delicious very nice place for takeaway and lunch:dinner menu it’s great for Indian food fans and newcomers and people who need many dishes.

I have been using Bombay spice for a few years & collect , therefore get the buy one get one free. There is always plenty of chicken & enough to share. I share a chicken tikka masala & keema naan with my 15yr old & husband has a naan & curry to himself but always some left over to freeze. There is plenty of keema meat in the naan & the curries are always fresh, I have tried the other local curry houses but we won't use anywhere else other than Bombay spice now. Excellent value, quality & service, would definitely recommend.

As always an excellent meal, service was quick considering how busy they get, not surprising with the quality of the food. I will always go back to them.

This review is based on value for money. 5 star without any doubts. £25 fed 2 adults a teenager and and a 3 year old and we have some left ! We ordered a murgi masala and garlic chicken balti based on the buy one get one free offer when collecting. We also had egg fried rice popadums and dips and a chicken tikka and chips tray oh and also a keema naan. All for £25 ! Now whilst there may be nicer indian restaurants/takeaways out there . None of them will beat this takeaway for value for money and i must say we all polished our plates and really enjoyed the meal today. I hope some of you read this and give this takeaway a try as its 5 stars from us !

Below average curry house, ordered some curries & starters from here today for the first time and unfortunately only read their reviews afterwards. We ordered a mixed grill, onion bhajis, paneer tk, chicken madras, Tarka daal, couple of naans & a mushroom rice. The mixed grill was ok, first thing you notice is the acidic red food colouring, portion size was decent but everything lacked flavour and salt, the lamb tikka was as tough as leather to the point it was hurting my teeth trying to tear it. Worst onion bhaji’s I’ve ever had, these were old and stale & clearly reheated in the microwave, they came in bits & crumbs which I assume was the bits left at the bottom of the container if they ran out. Paneer tikka looked shocking, the taste was bland, chicken madras was ok, nothing special or outstanding, the daal was nice, the naans had no flavour or salt at all, really abysmal, the mushroom rice was uninspiring & greasy with oil. We did get some free poppadoms but sadly it’s not worthy of redeeming the terrible standard of food. We’ve tried it once & sadly won’t be back, you need a new top quality chef to cook authentic Indian cooking here with lots of punchy flavour, as a customer I’d rather lots of flavour than bland flavour.

First time here since it changed hands, I've been missing out on the best Tandoori mixed grill I have ever had, large pieces of succulent chicken and lamb, very nice sheek kebab, large nan, plus buy one get one free main, so I had a special biryani, lots of mixed meat. I will be going back 👍

Ordered from here quite a few times down the years and it's been nice, put the last few times it's been so bland no taste no spice

Asked for jalfrezi got a tikka misala with onions!! Mint yoghurt....more like yoghurt with absolutely nothing!! Frid mushroom rice....boiled mushroom rice...best thing about the whole meal was the chips and they were half cooked!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. BUT THANKS FOR ANSWERING THE PHONE

Unfortunately tonight’s meal wasn’t great, it literally had no spice to any of the 4 meals we had, the chicken tikka masala was more like a korma , the house balti had no spice to it neither did the chicken balti. Very disappointing and needless to say even the 2 for 1 won’t get me back there again.

Sorry to say the food they serve is not the real Indian food.I’m a born Indian man have ever tasted such tasteless food in my life.Taste of India and Bombay is something they have ever tasted.wasted my £45

My first take away in new house. Googled indian near me and saw bombay spice, went onto thier website and seen 2 for 1 on collections. Didn't really explain 2 for 1 of what, everything or just main curry. So I just continued to ordered what I usually get for me and partner and thought I'd freeze the extra. Went and picked it up, it was cooked fast and the people nice enough. Got home only to find I got what I order nothing extra and food was cold so I rang up only to question them about the 2 for 1 offer as I can heat food myself, not that fussy. The person on the other end told me the 2 for 1 offer is on phone orders only???🤔 mmm peculiar, as its the first thing that flashes in your face (online)!!!! I'm like, oh OK, I'll remember for next time to use more of your time phoning up and ordering. So offer on their website or menu does not explain you don't get 2 for 1 on online orders and also does not explain exactly what is 2 for 1. Just to add when in shop I pick up a menu and read, %20 off on all orders over £20, now is this online or over phone orders???? I could have saved myself £5 there. I literally chose the worst option to order my food and ripped myself off 😂🤪. On a positive note, after microwaving my meal, it was quite tasty. Madras could have been a tad spicier but nice. Thanx

This is my go to curry house and normally it is great but the last couple of times the curry has been bland. Whether the chef has changed, who knows. But very disappointed. Hope you can get it back on track.

I left a review just before my last order saying: ‘I love this food and the people, and the prices. Thank you guys!! The food is interesting, innovative and delicious…..’ however that was the very night I had quite a bad meal - everything tasted ‘off’ and a bit weird. Sorry guys but I’m now turned off. And I wouldn’t want to say to your faces or over the phone because you’re nice people. Initially it was the odd tasting yoghurt sauce with poppadoms, then it was the very odd tasting butter chicken which a) tasted weird and b) tasted not buttery at all! The katha dry chicken was weird too and I’ve had that before and it was lovely - the naans tasted old - the only good thing was the rice. Very sorry to write this as the prices are amazing but I don’t think I’ll want to order there again. Kind regards, Becky

Gone downhill since it re opened. My Madras was like a korma. The JAL frezi was tasteless and bland.

Don't usually leave reviews but this place deserved it. Bombay mix used to be our regular but we had a couple of disappointing meals so looked elsewhere. Bombay spice is the new name so thought I'd try it out.... Absolutely brilliant. We have our regular take away back! Food tasted freshly made. Nice extra touches like salads and plenty of sauces. Everyone's meals were excellent. Not bad price either and delivery guy was very friendly.

I can see why they only get a 1 star rating for hygiene and in all my years of eating curry I have to say that this is by far the worst meal we have ever had there is no good curry house in bedworth
