Had a lovely buffet with the family! Great selection of delicious Indian food with a wide variety of starters and main course! Service is exceptional and staff were very polite. Relaxed ambience. Want to go back soon to try from the ala carte menu!! :-)

Lovely restaurant lovely food we went on Banquet night it's not expensive. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Bring your own beer or wine. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant from Mr Clive

Fantastic restaurant/takeaway. The staff are incredibly kind and it has a nice atmosphere. Now let me discuss the food! We ordered x1 Lamb Rogan Josh, x1 Chicken Madras, x 2 Pilau rice, x3 Chapattis, 2 Keema Naan. It was BEAUTIFUL. This is by far the most authentic Indian food we’ve had since moving to Bournemouth 30 years ago. The flavours, the smell, the textures were all on point and I can honestly say this is now our go-to for a good curry! Highly recommended!

We visit here usually twice a week, on a Sunday for the buffet and a Tuesday for their banquet night. Never had a bad meal here, the staff are always lovely, food is usually served pretty quick and always nice and fresh. Bonus is that you can take your own drinks due to them not having an alcohol license. Best Indian in Bournemouth.

Very friendly people especially manna vi. They treat you with respect and care. The food is very good and fresh and probably the best in Bournemouth. Sadly I am here for holiday or I would have came here often.

Worst indian takeaway in a long time vindaloo is like water..bland and with no potato in it onion bhaji tastes microwaved always recommended the place to everyone but will never eat there again

We had a fun evening here as a group. Very friendly staff and the added bonus of BYOB. The food was tasty and their house curries were very delicious. Worth a try if you are in the area.

Staying nearby so we decided to have an evening meal here. As it was early evening we got a table. They sell soft drinks but you can take in your own alcoholic beverages. The service and food were excellent and good value for money. Would definitely visit again if we lived nearer.

I’ve always been someone to order a Korma, but tonight I tried Rogan Josh and I have been converted. It was absolutely delicious. Also best onion bhaji I have ever tasted. Lovely people, great atmosphere. Bring your own drink! 👏🏻

A nice restaurant, great food and friendly staff.

Me and my mother didn’t get the kindest welcome but we hoped it was a hidden gem like previous reviews suggested. I can’t eat coriander because I have that thing where everything tastes soapy if I do - I discussed this with the waiter and got told there won’t be coriander sprinkled on top. Unfortunately it coated on everything - even the onion bhaji. Food was okay but we ordered the cauliflower Bhaji and that never came either- just wasn’t the atmosphere we were specifically hoping for - maybe the meat dishes are better but we’re vegetarian and we were unfortunately disappointed

Since moving to Bournemouth 2 years ago we have struggled to find a good reasonably priced Indian takeaway the food was great and it was delivered quickly

Great Indian. We’ve eaten in the restaurant and had several takeaways. Always great quality and fab portion size. We’ll definitely be back.

Had an upset tummy hours after eating. Waiters wait around not saying much and just standing at the bar. Had to keep asking for water even when they saw our cups were empty. Nothing spicy which was a shame. Yeah overall it’s not bad but not the best.

Food not great. Oil popadoms cooked in was rancid, food over priced for the basic standard, toilets dirty and delivery drivers hanging around the bar chatting all evening. More of a kick out of pub late night curry house than a restaurant serving Indian cuisine.

We've lived in this area for over 8 years and known about Bombay Palace but never been in before - what a revelation! Quite a cosy, basic restaurant, the first thing to note is it's not licenced for alcohol so you have to BYO - I quick trip to Waitrose just down the road and back with a nice bottle if white wine and 3 large bottles of Cobra that came to around £12 in total, and it is the cheapest drinks we've had in a restaurant in years! The staff are great and it's a really good menu with good value prices - lots of choice with some less familiar dishes as well as all the usuals you would expect in an Indian restaurant. One word if warning - there are quite a few dishes marked as Vegan but ask to make sure - the vegan vegetable balti was great, but the Naan bread it came with had ghee (butter) on it. They swapped for a plain tandoor bread, which was fine. The food was absolutely delicious and great portions too ... between three of us, we has enough to take home in a 'doggy bag' for another full meal! This is now our go-to restaurant for a really good curry in Bournemouth!

Lovely small Indian restaurant. Portions were big, we had the chicken masala and butter chicken and would highly recommend! Starters and poppadoms also delicious! Friendly staff and great prices. Delicious food!

Seems like the management has changed but the quality is still the same. The food and service in here are excellent. I found a new favourite dish lamb parsee. Lovely medium sliced sauce with tender lamb and lentils. Superb.

I liked the food but the service was lacking. We were thrown the bill without being offered dessert or coffee. We were chatting and they came and checked if we had paid, which rushed us. Felt like we were being thrown out. That was a shame I thought.

Delicious, freshly made food. Tempting menu. Everything sounded delicious. My Nilgiri lamb was succulent and flavourful. Light, melt in the mouth naans. BYO made it a very reasonable treat. Lovely serving staff. Very popular so best to book in advance.

This is a little gem hidden on wimborne road, we generally take away and order on phone, quality of food is good, level of chilli is at indian bangladeshi level. All in all great experience till now. By the way you can bring your own alcohol in.

Always enjoy a takeaway from this place, the vegetarian dishes are all very good, as is my favourite chicken silsila. Delicious food if you like to try something different from the standard tikka or korma!

2nd time ordered a takeaway/delivery - obviously first was fine - second time stale and dry, binned the lot (£18's worth) - called restaurant (as suggested on web page) only to be dealt with in a very curt manner - no interest in my complaint so dismissive and disinterested...won't be ordering from there again..

This India meal brought its top game. I couldn't really fault it, apart from there could be more onion and ratia. Special mention should go to the Keralan King Prawn curry, which was possibly the tastiest dish I've had from an Indian restaurant.

Cannot wait to go back! The best onion bhajees I've ever had in my life and I usually never order them because they're not my favourite starter but theirs were so flavourful. Great service and food and BYOB makes it a great evening. Highly recommend the Nilgiri Lamb, one of the best curries I've ever had!

Good meal and make sure you bring your own alcohol if you want to drink it. They do serve softdrinks though. Portion sizes are good and it was about £50 for 4 of us for a curry each with few bowls of rice etc, so relatively good value. The only con I can think of is the fact there are few soft furnishings which means that the sound does travel, so a group talking loudly does impact the rest of the restaurant. It's normally busier around 8pm, so you could probably walk in for a 6pm, but a 7pm could be problematic so book ahead. You can only phone during the opening hours to book a table, else the line will show busy. Worth a visit to see for yourself!

We used to use this restaurant a lot but unfortunately it went downhill Tonight we decided to try it and so glad we did in a word amazing...food delivered piping hot and we both agreed the best curry ever...madras was perfect and partners Balti was the best one ever and he has eaten a lot of Balti’s. Would highly recommend and it won’t be long befor we have another.

5 of us went for dinner here to celebrate a birthday, the food was incredible, good sized portions, amazing service; the staff are so lovely and ready to help however they can. Cannot recommend this place enough

Visited this evening with four friends. Our online booking had not gone through, but they kindly fitted us in on a busy Friday evening. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and well catered for vegans and veggies. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The flavours were delicious and we polished it all off! The pricing was extremely reasonable, and great you can BYOB. Will definitely be back, thank you

Very good restaurant 5/5 the owner is very friendly. Food is very tasty, delicious, clean and also its fresh. The take outs usually take max 20 mins. All the items in the menu are very resonable price. Highly recommend everyone to come and taste the indian cusine for a good time.

Was inedible . Chicken was still raw, guy on the phone when i ordered was very rude. However the delivery driver anjat was very helpful and polite.

Starters were really good. We ordered chicken and vegeterian starters. More importantly, they were friendly and especially girl who served us made my kid a birthday card on the spot which moved us. Thank you so much @Bombay palace

Sunday Buffet is excellent. From the very hot chicken to the sag aloo, every option was very tasty and succulent. The staff are very friendly and you can have a joke with them. And the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Rice, nan and veg korma were OK but the Rogan josh, sag aloo, sag paneer and tarka daal were tasteless and disappointing.

Clearly very popular so we were lucky to get a table but the food was incredible and the staff were lovely.

I had the loveliest meal here with my friends. Their Tuesday night deal was amazing value with 5 courses for £13.95! We were all so stuffed and blown away by the quality. Would highly recommend!

We go here regularly & the staff are always so friendly. The food is delicious & very reasonably priced. They have no alcohol licence, so you need to take your own. There's no charge & they're happy to bring you whatever opener you need.

Lovely place and great customer service. But, best of all, is the food. The meat is succulent and really melts in the mouth with sauces is thick and creamy. After being there several time the quality is always there and is why Bombay Palace is my favourite place for a curry.

Amazing food, both dining in and takeaway. Really deep flavours and so many vegan options (the garlic mushrooms are especially good) 👌 the Tuesday banquet deal is great value.

From now on it's my favourite Indian restaurant in town. Delivery time is always punctual or even earlier than expected! Food always pipping hot, full of suprising spices and exotic flavours. Highly recommend!

Worse food ever I had really disappointed…

This place is a great find. We were short on time, so they made sure all cooked to our taste(we like it spicy)and quickly. We had veg options, and managed to finish everything. Decent portion sizes and great taste. Came to drop my son off to uni and so will be visiting them again when we go back later this year to visit him.

One of the best Currys house's in Bournemouth

Best Indian takeaway in Bournemouth that I have found. The meat has been really good quality and well cooked in every meal we have ordered and every dish tasty with a good mix of flavours. Having tried a few others and been unimpressed we will be sticking with Bombay Palace when we want Indian. Not especially cheap, but consistently good.

Excellent food, nice premises and really great service. Lots of flavour, tasty food and not too much spice .... Perfect 👌
