The food was great, so was atmosphere, I was served by Melbourne who is very polite and good towards customers he deserves a good review , overall a great experience.

Best butterchicken I have ever had

Absolutely exorbitant in its pricing. Quality of the food is in no way commensurate with the price. Also 50 pounds for a mediocre screw top wine is a joke. Would not recommend and regret having visited.

Sadly the food wasn’t great, the service was poor. I was given a business card by the manager and the waiter couldn’t find his notepad to take the order and then he wrote the order on the business card. There was also a 15% service charge added to the bill which I asked for it to be removed.

Not a busy night but service was slow. Have to wait for the manager (,may be owner?) to take the order. Too long a wait for butter chicken and Naan. A bit on the high end. Two small veggie samosas cost GBP8. It's a table cloth with linen restaurant. We were under dressed but still were being served. Waiters were polite and professional.

Meh. This is Indian food for white people. It was acceptable food but not worth it's high price point. Service was good though.

Have been coming here almost each time I've been in London since 2019. Robert takes great care of us and food is amazing every time.

Bombay Palace offers delicious North & South Indian cuisine with warm hospitality. The location is perfect for a romantic night out or a small banquet!

An Indian store, its location is clear and the employees are cooperative. The restaurant manager himself supervises the tables and ensures customer satisfaction. I ordered butter chicken, plain biryani, and two naan with cheese and garlic again, delicious.

Nice place..when we went for diner around 9.30pm..was well received ..looking inside it was full with people from other countries and local..food was tasty..till now enjoying food...

Incredible authentic food! One of my favourite Indian restaurants in London. As a vegetarian there are numerous delicious options available and all of the food is clean without excessive oil. Excellent service from the staff and very hospitable. Highly recommended!

We visited in w Wednesday night - the food was fantastic, the service was great - it lacked a little in atmosphere (a bit quiet). The menu was not super traditional- but the food was so good & big portions.

Went there for a private dinner with our office colleagues. Honestly most of us didn’t like the taste. Mutton and chicken were not fresh, vegetarian samosa was too salty. Paneer dishes were average. Service and staff was very casual in serving . I think this restaurant need lot of improvement to live upto its name. Not visiting risking again. Thanks

This was our last meal in London before we returned to the states. The food was very high quality and was very good. The service was also on point. The staff did a good job explaining the dishes we ordered and the recommendations they made were very good. All in all a good experience and we would definitely return. If you want high quality authentic Indian food in a nice environment you will not be disappointed visiting this establishment.

Food was incredible, very extensive menu and knowledgeable and attentive staff (shoutout Robert, he made some great recommendations). Great place for my family and I to eat before we head out of London.

It's a really nice place to eat. The food and service given were amazing. We had a vegetarian option but the choice was really good and they also catered for special request for dietary requirements. Will definitely be back again.

Very good food, the place is pleasant, the prices are not inflated by a 15% "service charge". Allow 50 pounds per person with a dish and a drink.

Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The authentic Indian food, warm hospitality and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience. We will be back soon!

Amazing food for our first day in London!

After a chilly day we were looking for something warm and comforting. We took advantage of the taster size portions (fantastic idea) to try a few different dishes, all of which were delicious! So flavorful and perfectly spiced. Will definitely be eating here again. The butter chicken, chicken nilgiri and paneer makhni are all recommended

I have been a regular customer to this restaurant. Yesterday I was in a party of 14 people. The prices have increased, the portion sizes have decreased, they had no Prosecco and it was only 7:30pm and the restaurant was not busy. Bearing in mind they were given 6 weeks notice for our Christmas party. The starter of tandoori chicken arrived for 14 people. Instead of the customary chicken leg and chicken breast options, we were all given chicken leg. No accompanying chutneys and no small salad on the plate. Literally a chicken leg on a plate. The saag paneer came looking like it had been in a blender and just mixed with paneer. No cream etc as per usual. Now I know how the food is normally presented and tastes. I felt they had made little if any effort. We paid over £1000. It wasn’t value for money. So we are looking for a different venue next year. Very very disappointing.

I come here every time I have people visiting London!! The food is top knotch (like genuinely some of the best) and the service is unreal! Most recently Melbourn took great care of us and had excellent recommendations!!!!!

This is always one of my favorite stops while in London. It’s a very chill, easy-going place. The food is amazing, and the service is amazing. I always spend a little more than I want, but it’s definitely worth it. This time, our waiter, Melbourn, was there to help us choose the best dishes, and serve us a really nice bottle of wine. I’ll be back again next time! As well.

Halal, true, delicious, but very expensive. Chicken biryani costs 28 pounds! The quantity is small, barely shared by two people, and the masala as well is 26 pounds, two naan breads are 10 pounds, a little dough and a raita salad are available for 4 pounds, the biryani comes with a raita salad, a rum shower is cheaper and of the same level, but what distinguishes this is classy and quiet once in a while, it is suitable for newlyweds and those who are not hungry, a rum shower is saja 😂

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Palace with friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. The chef is truly exceptional; his sweet dessert took me straight back to my childhood, bringing back fond memories of the Indian sweets I’ve always loved. The biryani and chickpeas were equally amazing, full of rich, authentic flavours. Dining here felt like sharing a meal with family, and meeting the chef was an honour. If you’re craving a genuine taste of Bombay, I highly recommend Bombay Palace. I’ll definitely be returning!

I decided to try this place out and the butter chicken and dhal here was absolutely amazing. Nice ambiance and the friendly staff catered to my allergies perfectly. I am definitely coming back here again and would recommend it to anyone around who wants to try some of their delicious curries.

I was here a month or so ago and the food was fantastic, and our host was also a gentleman. I'm celiac, so naan is normally out of the question, but I mentioned this to our host and he made a special request for the chef to make a glutenfree naan. The chef went off menu and made GF naan for me, which was delicious. I don't often get that sort of service, so it means a lot when you have dietary restrictions and a restaurant makes that extra effort. Thanks!

Food was very ordinary and Waitrose curry’s I think are much better, prices are ridiculously high and probably was the most expensive I have eaten, a bottle of water is £6 Mayfair restaurants even don’t charge this much. There are so many better Indian restaurants in the area than this one. The only good thing to say was it’s clean and well presented and the staff were professional, shame about the food though

What a super find! Not cheap but the quality of the room, the food and the service is truly excellent and so it's worth every penny! This is not your standard curry place. We will be back, staff lovely and the atmosphere is relaxing. I also noticed that the respect for allergies on an adjacent table was spot on. Can highly recommend 👌

We had our wedding lunch at Bombay Palace and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The whole team were excellent throughout the process and made the day very special for us. I absolutely agree with the reviewer that wrote ‘ridiculously expensive for what you get so many better and cheaper alternatives’. Most of the food was tasty but not exceptional, we were very disappointed with the vegetables which were over cooked and bland. We thought £6.45 for 2 tiny poppadoms was ridiculous. Service was friendly and helpful but 15% service charge was excessive. We wouldn’t go back.

I highly recommend Bombay Palace if you’re looking to organize a company dinner. Tl;dr great food, great price, great space, great service. I was looking for a restaurant to accommodate a 20+ party and came across Bombay palace which had a private room that could fit between ~20-30 people. It also had a bar and lounge where we spent the first hour and a half mingling and waiting for the full party to arrive while munching on delicious side dishes (the fish was my favorite). Robert the manager was so wonderful to work with, I really appreciated how considerate he was and how fresh and hot the food tasted. He also made sure everything we ordered didn’t go over budget, which as an organizer I really appreciated. The operational efficiency and attention to detail made the entire night run very smoothly, and I could tell that Robert also equally looked out for his kitchen staff, wanting to make sure they weren’t scrambling and had enough time to prep for everything. The result was a very successful dinner party, and you know it’s a good party when almost everyone stayed till the very end!

First time having dinner at Bombay Palace. Amazing food and service was fantastic. Ordered the Lamb briyani and it was so tasty. We also had the palak paneer, aloo gobi and thhe king prawn. All the food was delicious. Will come back again.

Location was superb. Restaurant aesthetic were beautiful. However it lacks lustre on the food taste & service. We were 9 people, 6 adults & 3 babies. Food was just average & there were lot of glitches in food order. Sometimes it was missed other times it was double order. Food was expensive, though justified due to the location. Thing I loved were the Afghani veg momos, damn delicious, rest everything was just ok.

Excellent food and nice to have such a variety of vegetarian and meat/fish dishes that are of great quality. We were 3 people and had the vegetarian grill platter, yoghurt chicken, salmon, cumin and caramelised onion rice, and parathas with pomegranate raita. Everything was delicious. Service is very kind but at times a bit chaotic with the large number of them running around in the dining room. We had 5 different waiters come to our table in the space of 1 hour. The atmosphere was disappointing. The interior could do with a makeover. It looks outlived, and cheap fake plants DO NOT belong in a high-end restaurant. A small suggestion to the waiters to not come into the dining room with a hair cap, it looks very unprofessional. Overall the food was amazing, if now only the dining experience would match the quality of the food.

One of my favorite Indian restaurants in London! You have to order the chicken Tikka Masala and the Prawn Bhuna, very rich and flavorful! I love their mini Samosa too. The staff is super friendly.

Really not worth the prices. You can find far superior Indian food elsewhere. The chilli paneer was way too sweet. When asked about my food experience, I told them. The manager told me that I must be eating it wrong and should wait for the flavour to hit the back of my throat. I am Indian and have eaten chilli paneer my whole life. The decor is archaic and interior needs a refresh. Tandoori soy chaap had good flavours but not worth £27. You are better off at Turmeric Kitchen, Dishoom, Tamil Prince.

Booked through the first table and hence had a discounted price. Food is decent but not worth the full price. Atmosphere is of a takeaway rather than fine dining(as per location and pricing). Early lunch and restaurant wasn't ready, toilets being cleaned, kitchen staff shouting, plates banging etc. Not a pleasant experience.

Six of us attended last Wednesday night. two friends and our family of four staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely amazing. Location is really good and the restaurant looks amazing inside.. food not cheap but well worth for the service and quality. We hope to attend soon again, many thanks to all the Staff.

My husband Shekhar and I dined this evening and we have been to multiple Indian restaurants in London but I can assure you it's one of the best! The service and attitude was exemplary. Food was way out!! So many items to choose from and you would not know what to eat. Both Melbourne Rosario and Shubham were so wonderful, help, sweet natured and attentive. I am so glad we chose to try this restaurant! The Chile was very good and Raul's was so fantastic. You must try this restaurant once
