Bomba Kebab & Pizza in Thanet

Been coming here for a little over 2 years, staff are friendly, food is great, won't go anywhere else.

Pizza was burnt on the bottom teasted like off milk was not happy worst place to get food from never going there again 👎👎👎

Absolutely disgusting!!!!! dried up over cooked chicken pita bread looked like it had been frozen and heated up that was dried up and hard. chicken wrap the wrap was hard old like it had been left out all day. small portions this place should be shut down what a disgrace!!!!! how can you be happy to serve food like that manky place

Food is good! BUT, need to prioritise the customers in the shop rather than deliveries. We waited aaaages.

Really tasty shish kebabs, loads of fresh salad and sauces. Humous kebab is also great. Handy local. Decent value, good quality.

Order: 2 wraps, 1 halumi cheese, 1 chips, 1 drink- £29! Overcooked, reheated and dry wraps. Falafel wrap = 3 burnt falafel balls, afew tomato slices and a shaving of salad (see photos) chips burnt, soggy reheated (see photos). Halumi dry and incredibly salty. Chicken wrap OK but dry. For the price astonishing bad, l know we are in a cost of living crisis but FM!

Rude staff don’t seem to want customers, man who served me was on tiktok the whole time and barely acknowledged i was there. Also overpriced, £8 for 5 small cubes of chicken and a pita!

Absoloutely foul!!!! The donner was freezing and multicoloured!!! A cold blend of white brown and grey, it was just screaming food poisoning! As it was the beginning of the night it was quite obvious it was yesterdays meat as his donner had not been switched on yet. Not even a hello when we entered and to be talking on facetime whilst cooking just says it all really. You'd be a fool to waste your money!!!

Delivery driver didn't come to the address, demanded we went to him as I got to the car he swore at me and threw my food on the floor. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE, ps. The only reason I got it from here over other places is due to the time but next time I will just have cereal

Most disgusting food i have ever had in my life. The meat taste like someone rubbed it under there armpits. They just throw it together and hope for the best. Seriously i do not understand how they have a shop or even a food hygiene certificate. Will never ever be ordering from here again, absolutely vile. Always makes me feel sick the day after aswell

Awful, placed a large order for hungry NHS staff to be told the driver has gone missing, no offer of refund, no apology, nothing. Disgusting service. Do not order if you want your food being eaten by the greedy driver. That's if the food was ever sent.

The owner is friendly and the shishs are always cooked over real charcoal which makes the flavour something quite special. The pita bread is fresh and the salad crisp. Highly recommend this kebab shop!

This is the worst restaurant I ever been in Margate.The food that I had ordered was cold and wasn’t even cooked properly and I waited for 30mins for a food.I talked to the fat guy from TikTok and was disrespectfully being rude to me in Turkish and was swearing so much.I ordered doner kebab and baklava the baklava wasn’t even much sweet and the doner was so bad that I almost threw up.Make your restaurant better.

Used to use bomba kebab all the time before the first lockdown. And never had an issue with it. Placed order for chicken shish kebab and what turned up was disgraceful. A few bits of the greasiest chicken chicken into a box with curdled and split burger sauce. Stone cold pitta bread just chucked into the carrier bag which wasn’t even cut. The salad was separate which I was fine with. Chicken and sauce tasted like sick, had to cut pitta bread myself to assemble kebab. Called restaurant three times and all three times I was shouted at by an extremely aggressive male who said salad is meant to be separate (which wasn’t my issue) and that kebabs in turkey are meant to be served just how my picture shows. The place needs to be shut down if this is how they serve food and speak to their customers. Also a call to environmental health wouldn’t go a miss.

Absolutely disgusted with the food that arrived. Tasted dirty and greasy, shouted at by staff when I called the restaurant to complain. Chicken just thrown into the box with the worst burger sauce I’ve ever tasted. You can see how greasy it is. Chicken shish is grilled, this was dripping with grease and tasted like sick. I even had to cut the stone cold pitta and assemble the kebab myself.

Ordered a cheesy garlic bread and xl kebab we got a baguette of gb bread from aldi 'burnt' with cheese shoved in. And a kebab which from everywhere else we have order an xl to be the size of a medium. Very disappointed tried ringing and get put straight on hold for ages to be hung up on. Not impressed

Was absolutely disgusting. Food came separated had a box of chicken drenched in chilli sauce the bread came separately as well as the salad. Now been in bed all day throwing up. Would not recommend if you don’t want food poisoning 😡😡

Absolutely terrible food! Partner got a half pounder cheese burger and when he went to eat it the burger bun fell apart it was soggy! Food was cold! Kebab was dry and stone cold and chips where burnt Won’t be ordering again

Chips was proper soggy dead wouldn't feed them 2 my dog the bottle of coke was warm and flat the mother had a nasty sick bug after eating 1 of your half pounders, give this place a big swerve they should shut up shop and crack on

Great food, very generous portions with plenty of salad. The kofte was just a bit salty other than that enjoyed the food and good service.

Had the chicken shish with chilli sauce. They used proper chicken breast not processed and it was cooked beautifully. The chilli sauce was absolutely delicious, best chilli sauce I've tried anywhere. Would recommend.

Worst kebab place I’ve ever been in and coming from London I feel that’s a massive statement! Took almost an hour to put our order in and then another 20 min only to get falafel that was pure ash! A hot and very annoying atmosphere I would highly avoid this place! Staff miserable and rude! If you don’t want to be working at 2am then don’t! No one is forcing you.

From the small window facing the terrace we were asked to collect our food although we were sitting out. The cutlery were non existing. Like "hey you" in some foreign language. Too loud music in foreign language there and bear in mind I am a foreigner. We do like bacon and ordered the pizza with bacon,as a halal place we got something terrible instead of bacon,they were not supposed to have it What bothered me the most we had to pay for it before food was even delivered

Remarkably the food was REALLY NICE. 😀 The place doesn't look or feel like it would serve tasty food but it was late so we thought gotta try it as the kids wanted pizza and we fancied a donner kebab. And low and behold food was delicious. Yep freshly made pizza and yummy mixed donner kebab. So if your hungry and wondering if it's worth it. Answer is YES. and it's open till 2am. So one of the last places to eat that is open late.

This used to be our go to kebab shop. But for the last few times we have ordered from them all you can taste is chilli. Even though we ask for garlic and chilli they keep sending it with loads of chilli and a tiny dribble of Garlic. We have called them a few times because of this. Nothing has changed. No more will we order from them again.

Basic kebab, not bad and price OK. It's no Mezze/Mangal type kebab, good drunk food and open super late.

1 star (only way to get on the board) live less than 5 mins away got a chicken donner got home and there was more grease and oil even Greenpeace walked away from this (did mention there was chickens involved) the white bag was see through grey paper wrap see through all you could see is a orange box was tempted to switch the lights of see if it glowed in the dark but na better of in the bin

I ordered crispy chips & most were barely warm let alone cooked. Pita hadn't been warmed through properly either. Not the hardest dish to make. Also my brothers half pounder was inedible

I've had some ropey pizzas but this hands down wins the award of worst. There was grease running out of the box

My son rang to order they couldn't understand him and put the phone down we tried to ring bk but couldn't so tried another phone they answered I spoke and they took 5 minutes to accept my address I started placing the order talking clear no laughing he said you joking me I not stupid you order online I said I'm not joking he put phone down again I couldn't order online so went to a decent shop don't know what I did wrong but awful service will never ring again.

Bomba kebab , the family make me so welcome, also they open very late until 1.30 in fact it’s my favourite place because they open at around 2pm . Plus stay open late beyond the other not so good kebab shops . The family are lovely and always make me welcome to enjoy their amazing Turkish cuisine. For example amazing houmous falafel and fish and chips .i like the fact you can take a seat and eat too , plus the only Turkish traditionally prepared take away delivery or collection, with a Seaview that’ll make you smile .

Just to warn everyone if your thinking about working at Bomba Kebab and pizza Place, I suggest you don’t the manager and staff were nice at first and then they switch up and become so rude, their behaviour is disgusting. I only worked for a day and they expect me to be perfect IN JUST ONE DAY! there so two faced it’s unbelievable. Also there English is very bad they need to be taught some English lessons, They can’t even communicate with customers properly and don’t understand anything you say.

My order was chicken doner, chips and chicken nuggets. Instead of chicken doner you get chicken skin, worst doner in my life. The nuggets were funny and the only thing i liked was the chips

I ordered a pizza last night and it said it would be delivered in 45 minutes. I waited an hour and called the takeaway. I was told that they called me twice and rang the bell but they couldn't find me so the driver had taken it back to the shop. The phone didn't ring and neither did the bell! When I told them this he got very annoyed and said that they did. I asked where the delivery driver had been and I was told that he couldn't find me so took it back! Left a review on their just eat page and they blamed me for ringing an hour later and cancelling my order and not paying! I'm glad I didn't pay by card.

Dont really write reviews but I just ordered a kebab from this place and it was horrible! The kebab stunk like it was out of date and i couldnt eat it due to the smell and the chilli sauce was terrible. Food gave me a stomach ache after eating one mouthful, never order from here! Found this place on Google as was staying the night in Margate. This place had good reviews and I'm glad I found it. Good tasting food, fresh and was hot. Found the price of the food a bit cheap . would highly recommend a visit specially for a good kebab skewers.

A fairly typical Kebab & Pizza place but the menu is extensive and it stats open till late. Worth checking out if you have been to an event at the Winter Gardens for example!

Food gave my friend food poisoning! Was throwing up from midnight to 6 in the evening! When I tried to call up and get a refund, they called me a liar and kept hanging up on me! Awful customer service! Very rude manager and terrible attitudes towards complaints!

I have had the same problems with ordering my food also maybe they should have some 1 with good english on the phone as lot is the old man not understanding what ur ordering or he talks over u and doesent lusten has been rude he maid me wait 2 hours 4 my order i kept ringing him he kept saying its coming i had 2 go down 2 the shop in the end he hadent even cooked ot kept saying i never ordered it lol but what was so out of order he kept telling me on the phone its on its way y say that ??? Eddies is better i only really use them because it was eddy who opened it first and its same food and eddys is closed 4 some reason but its gone down hill since eddy sold the amount of food u get is so much less now hardy any chips the trays have gone up and they toke the chips out the special thats y its a speciel u get everything soggy chips if they where nicer they wud gt more trade eddy always gave me some thong free 2 or extra chips which is nice whats the point in loseing ur business 4 being rude and greedy prices r 2 high now put the chips bk in with the special please hope u take on bored put some 1 with good english on phone old man is no good and very rude

Disgusting food, plus rude staff.

I have been in here recently for chees burgers and they are to die for. Great quality meat and the extras you can get are very good. A burger you can eat and know you have had it . Pleasant staff very clean and you can sit inside too.

Pizza was not very nice at all. Garlic and herb dip was disgusting. I'll stick to dominos in future.
