Bolwing green resturant in Tendring

Booked to return for well priced excellent Sunday lunch. Staff friendly and helpful, nice secluded atmosphere.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The plates were dirty plus also the highchairs the quality of the food was poor the breakfast was too greasy. I would give the place a minus 5

Fuimos a cenar con un amigo en nuestro descanso del trabajo. Un lugar limpio, agradable y amable personal agradable para comer, pero la comida no es la mejor opción, pero no un montón og para mí.

Comida muy mediocre. El servicio bien, una vez estás sentado pero cola para sentarse era preparada durante mucho tiempo. Nadie sabía lo que estaba ocurriendo. Obviamente cortos de personal.

Went for a meal with my friends on Friday evening,I ordered a beef stew,when I got it it was Luke warm,the beef was sitting on a perfectly formed square piece of mashed potato...never come across that before,you could have picked it up in one piece! the beef was piled on top and the gravy was poured in the bottom.I couldn't see any vegetables.A couple of my friends dinners were not brilliant either and theirs was over cooked.Won't be going there again

Poor service, food and value for money. The roast potatoes were frozen not fresh and completely tasteless. One of the steaks was burnt to a crisp and my mixed grill was inferior with a very under cooked fried egg. Have visited in the past and decided to give them another chance to impress...failed! Won't bother again and wished we had chosen the McDonald's restaurant next door for a fraction of the cost.

We were passing so popped in for a quick early evening meal, this is a nice venue, friendly attentive staff that served us, the meals were reasonable quality and price

My wife and I popped in for a quick drink yesterday to be confronted with a member of staff arguing with a customer, no terribly professional I'm sure you'll agree, we have been here a few times before and this was our only bad experience though

we went here to eat on our last day in walton, the service was really good and the food was lovely. the prices were very fair also . kids had pizza and it was massive so was very pleased also kids eat free before 5pm which makes it even better.

Typical gastro pub food, some not so good but alot good ....... great improvement on the burgers, absolutly delish. catered for a family wake ........ very good food and excellent service. Staff always attnetive and when things go wrong from the kitchen they are very apologetic and sort it. Have been going back for several years.

A varied menu with good choices. Starters are a must! The main course is well presented and so tasty. I have visited on several occasions and opt for something different each time, never disappointed. You will be pleasantly full on your exit !

The bowling green is a table table restaurant a little more upmarket than its sister Brewers Fayre Not so many children running around I do find the tables close together not leaving much room or privacy The staff are always friendly and polite I feel the food is a little over priced for this type of place
