My Fav place for sure, the food is delicious. I can't lie. And all the workers are working there they are very friendly 😍❤️

We had a lovely time at Bodrum Turkish Shawarma & Restaurant. We celebrated my son’s birthday with family and friends. The food was delicious, and the service was great. We all definitely recommend this place and we will come back for sure. Three important signs we consider for a Restaurant are decoration, presentation, and taste. For all of these, it gets full marks as a Turkish Restaurant. (^_^) (7 star)

Good service , the food could have done with abit more flavour and seasoning . The drinks were okay. Not the best Turkish food I have had.

I had an amazing dining experience at this Turkish restaurant! The smoked chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, the fries were crispy and delicious, and the shawarma was packed with flavor. To top it off, they offered complimentary Turkish tea, which was a lovely touch. Great food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Great tasting food overall, especially enjoyed their chicken as it was flavourful and well cooked. It does come at a price though.

Had worst dining experience came to Leicester for the first time on Saturday. Asked the waitress to bring the menu on which she gave me a cold smirk. When I asked her what's the best on menu, she replied "I'm busy, you can go through the menu and let me know what you want. The food taste was decent but came cold to the table. And customer service made the experience worst.

We visited Bodrum restaurant and ordered two dishes. Both had good quality and were well-prepared. One of the dishes, Adana Yogurt, had a great taste, and the ingredients used were fresh, which made it even better. The only issue we noticed was the lack of enough waitstaff. During busy times, it took longer than expected to get their attention, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I’d recommend it for the quality of the food!

Here's an updated version of your review: --- I recently dined at Bodrum shawarma and had a very disappointing experience. The food was served cold, and the customer service was below average. To make matters worse, they mixed up my order and, when I pointed it out, they claimed they didn’t have the dish I originally ordered. Given the higher prices, I expected much better. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. --- Feel free to adjust any details!

I came to this restaurant with my family and ordered the mixed platter for 2. However the food came in cold and before that we had to request for the waiter to give us a starter before the main meal. Also they didn't give us soup with the starter and when I mentioned it they said it costs extra £5. Also they gave us our lemonade without a straw and I asked the waiter. Then he said there isn't any left. afterwards I found some straw on the tables. After our meal we had to ask for tea and the service was very slow so I had to remind the waiter to give us our tea. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because they charge high prices for their food yet the food was cold and their service was below average.

The owner of the place is not Turkish. Food tastes are average, but they have nothing to do with those in Turkey.

I was tempted by the get 1, 1 get free take away only offer. 2 chicken Shawarma Wraps only cost 6.95. great offer. Quite large wraps with a lot of meat and an interesting, very fresh bouquet of vegetables. Noticeable spicy sauce. They look beautiful and taste delicious. The place will definitely be on my list to visit again.

We visited this establishment during our trip to Leicester. At first we only wanted the shawarma to take away as there was an offer for it but then we also decided to dine in and have a meal. The food was wonderful; extremely delicious and the service was excellent. The waitresses were extremely friendly, helpful and went the extra mile. Also, Turkish tea was complimentary. The takeaway Shawarma was splendid with generous portions of chicken. Most definitely, we will visit again.

while i enjoyed the food there, but felt uncomfortable with the appearance of one waitress who had visible tattoos and another waitress whose dress was not appropriate. As coming up with male members felt really uncomfortable the restaurant should ensure a more professional and respectful atmosphere for all customers / families

Nice relaxing restaurant with good food. Lentil soup was provided as a complimentary starter and tasted good. I would say the best beyti kebab in Leicester is served here at this restaurant. Their special sauce overflowing the sliced pieces of kebab sandwich on a bed of smoky yoghurt made it difficult to resist together with a side of rice. The food portion is fairly large to be shared with two adults. Chicken shawarma was ok but not recommended. Baby chairs are available here. The serving staff were friendly but need to be more attentive. The washroom was spotless clean ! Overall an amazing experience and worth repeating. Updated : Now after one year visited again to try the beyti kebab. Unfortunately the taste has gone down. Prices have gone up. Service was below average. We had to request for the complementary starters to be served . We had to request for the complementary tea to be served at the end. Would not be visiting again I am afraid. Reducing the stars to 2/5.

Oh well,if are in Leicester you must try this Turkish restaurant, if you don't I can tell is a big mistake, since you walk in they are absolutely brilliant,friendly, welcoming, service is so good,they make everyone feel so welcome in their restaurant, every other week I'm going in Leicester to visit my disable son and always we going for lunch here, they make my son with severe disability feel special and for that I'm going there ALL THE TIME,food is outstanding, so good ,well presented it. The food was undeniably excellent—flavorful, well-prepared, and visually appealing. However, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, leading to long waits and a lack of responsiveness. If you can overlook the service issues, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. I recently dined at a Muslim restaurant and was extremely disappointed .Not only was the food subpar, but the waitresses were covered in tattoos, which was a real shock. I found this to be extremely disrespectful and off-putting. It made me question the authenticity of the restaurant. If you go to other Turkish Muslim restaurants in Leicesters they are well dressed, even if they are from different cultures but yet looks presentable. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a true Islamic dining experience.

I eat here every time I'm in Leicester for work and it never disappoints, food is excellent and the waitress is very welcoming and helpful.

I went to eat with my family got really disappointed . When it comes to food prices were same as konak and other Turkish restaurants in Leicester, food taste was ok not upto mark. Ribs were burnt/overcooked , was called out a waitress but she never came back even though the restaurant was not busy and as-far there were three people working in and busy in talking with each other . I don’t know why restaurants like this don’t focus on customer service . We pay so much and have to face unpleasant service. I should read reviews before going in there.

Waiter tries to please but forgets to bring basic cutlery. Had to wait for plates before we can start eat, we had to help ourselves. No garlic source, no chillie source served, not sure why. These are standard sources served, ordered a platter and surely should come with sources. Bread was freshly cooked and tasted nice. Platter mix was ok, is ok, but nothing special to shout about. Tea served without proper cutlery set. Aayran tasted very bland, on sip then left it. Did complain but no apologise and still charged for it. ………………… Thanks for the reply. Pleased to hear waiter will be given more training. I don't agree with your excuse on chillie source. You state Customer has to ask for it, how does Customer know if the source are available? Unfortunately, my experience with the service at Flavor Haven was far from impressive. Despite the excellent food, the service left much to be desired. The waitstaff appeared disorganized and inattentive throughout the evening. From long waits to receive menus, to delays in taking orders and refilling drinks, the service was consistently subpar. It took an unusually long time to get our food, and when it finally arrived, it was clear that the staff was overwhelmed and not fully engaged with their tasks.

Food is really tasty and good portions. The service isn't great though. Although the chap was friendly he kept calling me 'brother' which was a bit weird. He also forgot our drinks, didn't bring some of the food we asked for and was in general a bit unaccommodating which was a shame.

The menu changed a bit since the new management took over. I like the new setup, it's more spacious and can fit more people. Before, it was tough to go in a group, but now they can even join tables. I also noticed the new ceiling, it looks great. The food is still good, with the same quality and quantity. If the menu says it's for one person, it's for one person, and if it says it's for a family, it's for a family. I did miss the soup they used to give. That was like their signature item. The staff was attentive, and the service was quick. All the food came out together, not one by one like before. Overall, it was a great experience, as always. I've never been disappointed here. If you're a fan of Turkish cuisine, you have to check this place out.

Revisited the restaurant this time with my office colleagues because I really like there food and servicebut unfortunately so many things are changed by now. The staff is changed and Englishgirl has lack of knowledge . The blue eyed guy was rude and they have increased their prices too. There standard of food quantity wise dropped Really disappointed.

Have re-visited this restaurant since it re-opened. It must’ve changed management. You can find a variety of foods as well as shawarma now, but unfortunately the food came out cold. I ordered a portion of plain rice and the majority was cold with some hot spots you can tell it’s been microwaved in And lastly, the mint & lime didn’t contain any mint. The waiter insisted it took longer as it was fresh, the only fresh part is the quarter lemon that was squeezed into the sprite/ soda. Also, the prices for the meals are rather high if you’re going to get cold food that lacks flavour. There are certainly better Middle Eastern restaurants out there. Bodrum definitely has a long way to come.

Good place for a kebab. Served soup snd bread not long after ordering. Kebab was lovely...what a joy. 12/06/24: Decided to have lunch here. It was nice but the portion (Chicken Shish & Chicken Shawarma with rice) appears to have gone smaller. This time no full size circular bread just 4 slices and 3 dips. Would be nice to have the full size bread.

Authentic Turkish cuisine and lovely relaxed atmosphere! The staff are very attentive and make sure you are comfortable and catered for. The desserts are definitely worth a try if you have some space left after their generous portions.

Much more expensive than before. Small portions. Complimentary food removed (free soup, starters and naan bread removed from orders which was included before). Staff arrogant especially Blue Eyed waiter was rude and banged food on table when called more than once. Same guy was quite humble when he started work a few months ago but has become dismissing and rude in recent visits. Had to remind him repeatedly to bring all items of ordered food. Poor customer service in recent months and only grabbing money. No respect for returning customers and dismissive when given feedback. Average price per person is now 15-20 pounds for soup and mains, and bill is even higher if drinks, dessert and sides are also added. Poor Hygiene and food stained crockery. Such a Shame and disappointed with behaviour of blue-eyed waiter.

Had a couple of hours to kill before a wedding and was hungry. Tried this place out on the recommendation of an uncle as it's "The best in Leicester". He was not exaggerating, it was probably the best Shawarma that I've ever had. Will definitely come again when I'm next in the area. Also the customer service was 11/10. 🙂👌🫡

Staff were friendly. Tables were clean. Toilets were very clean. I had the biryani dish very tasty. I had Brought a friend with me who never came before and wasn’t going to eat anything . and they gave him a soup to try on the house. Very lovely hospitality. The salad was very nice. For future reference just be more focus on the orders as I got the wrong soup for starter. And please allow for customers to finish their starters before bringing the main dish. As by the time I had finished my main dish was not very warm. I look forward to coming again :)

Rude staff I visited this food place first time so not sure what to order, not helpful staff. They had all trainee staff and my order came delayed and cold. They gave us wrong order twice. Would not recommend this place at all

The food itself was very nice and did come very quickly even though at times communication between staff seemed an issue. The food was hot and felt fresh and just very good money for value and so it is a place I would potentially revisit but there were some issues. However, my main issue and for a review that can’t be more than 2 stars. When we had asked for some tap water for the table we were told we are not allowed to have this and that they don’t serve tap water at all. This seems very strange and odd for a restaurant to refuse tap water.

I’ve been here numerous times, first time food was burnt but I thought let me try again, second time wings were not cooked properly third time ordered via uber and had missing items in my order no sauces either, nothing. Upon reading other reviews it seems these people are either forgetful or tactical especially in regards to missing items in takeaway/delivery orders as the customer is not likely to come back, are they? fix up

On a cold, wet and windy night in Leicester I was delighted to find this restaurant. It was warm, comfortable and welcoming. I had a mix of chicken and lamb shish with kofte rice and bread. With a bottle of water this came to under £14. My server couldn't do enough for me, she really was first class. The food was excellent quality and I would happily dine here again

Was nice food but let down by the fact the lady said they couldn’t give us the complimentary Turkish tea as it was for people breaking their Ramadan fast. Talk about discrimination and worse not displaying this on them menu. Probably because they know it’s not right. I hope the people observing Ramadan are not offended by this behaviour of human beings.

Food was nice but the customer service was bad and they were disrespectful towards me.

Ordered the lamb shawarma and was basically tasteless. Was really disappointed. A work colleague had recommended the food at this place so thought I’d try it out. Never again. The lamb had a really gamey taste with no flavouring. The Tzatziki didn’t taste anything like it should. Won’t be ordering from here again.

The worst I have ever received at a restaurant. We ordered food with no salad yet it came with salad. We genuinely do not like salad so asked the waitress to replace the fries. She started to get defensive and said I told the chef and they put it on. Sh bought a plate for us to scrape the salad off. We mentioned we really don’t like the taste of the salad and wasting food, she started arguing with us and stormed off. We walked out without eating the food, they didn’t even care. NEVER GO HERE!!!

Amazing food for great prices. Try the lamb shank with the okra. Portion is enough for two and the quality of the food is just next level to be honest. Anywhere else it'll cost 20-30 pounds but here it's just under 12. You also get a complimentary lentil soup and Turkish tea at the end. Hands down my favorite spot to eat out in leicester.

I went to the restaurant with my mom and we sat with my mom at the very end as she covers her face. The place is niqabi friendly ! The food was a 10/10. very good proportions for the price and we had a soup at the beginning and some Turkish tea for free too whilst we waited for our meal. The place is warm and very comfortable. The waiter, a young gentleman Nazim who served our food was very respectful and polite with us ladies, we highly appreciated his behaviour. The waitress irba was also 10/10 asking us if everything was good and giving us recommendations, her customer service was on point, smiling and welcoming. We are so full !

Recently visited Bodrum Shawarma right as they opened for the day, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service. The gentleman who served me was incredibly kind and went out of his way to prepare my meal promptly. The chicken shawarma was nothing short of amazing – it tasted fresh and was full of flavor. I’m definitely planning to return again for more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality shawarma and exceptional service!

Visited this spot yesterday after work. Was very hungry so couldn't risk trying any another place. Ordered the mix Shawarma platter. The taste was impeccable. The service and quantity was also top notch. The lady server and the guy at till were highly courteous towards the customers. Also the complementary soup and the tea after were a cherry on top.

I can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant . This is type of place you would recommend to your mum who isn’t used to eating out and you want to make sure she has a guaranteed pleasant meal and experience with her friends. After first visit, I had such a good experience that I was convinced couldn’t repeat it so tried to find an alternative restaurant. We circled the city centre and came back to Bodrum. On second visit it was just as great as first visit. Third visit to Leicester, we did same thing and tried to find alternative restaurant to broaden our dining experience. We walked round everywhere reading menus but we dined once more with Bodrum. Again extremely happy with our meal and staff. We concluded that once you go to Bodrum, you stay with Bodrum. We’ve been spoilt by this service! We have already picked what things we might try on menu when we go back. I cannot wait!!!!!!!

Best shawarma I've had so far in Leicester! We've ordered takeaway, but planning on visiting once to try a mix platter as been very impressed with the quality of the food and the flavours. If you order takeaway make sure to get a separate portion of tzatziki as it's made to perfection! Sorry, no photo's this time as we qw so hungry, we forgot to take pics of the food.. 😅 And it was that good that couldn't stop to take a photo 😅🙈 I'll do them when I visit their place. Oh, just one feedback for the owners - consider changing the paper used for the wraps to waxed paper to hold the juices in better and avoid it sticking to the hot pita bread. Otherwise, all beautiful and delicious food! 😊
