Bodega 50 in Hackney

Consistently good food from this great neighbourhood takeaway and shop. The flat breads are particularly good. We used to enjoy eating in when there was seating, but it’s still great to go and get a coffee and a sandwich here. Highly recommend, whether you are vegan or not.

Great potential for the location, good food and coffee too however a refurbishement is long needed as it looks shubby and dirty everywhere and it is, Food Hygiene rate says it all.

Vivimos a la vuelta de la esquina de este café y encontramos que toda su comida es deliciosa. El tofu y la tostada de mostaza es un favorito en particular y los pasteles siempre se ven geniales. El café que usan tiene un sabor ligeramente ácido del que no somos muy fanáticos, pero tienen muchas otras opciones para elegir. El personal siempre es muy servicial y el servicio normalmente varía rápidamente.

Bodega50 is a true lovely cafe and staff and owner are nice&relaxed. The place is dog friendly too. They serve very good coffee, quality and tasty vegan food and healthy fresh juices. Lovely cakes & artisan breads. It could be a very pleasant place... if only maintained clean. The walls have not been painted for ages and are all marked as the door, the seats' cushions are dirty (it would be better no cushions at all then) and floor looks has never been oiled so hard to clean it. Windows glass not clean too. The kitchen at the back would benefit from being renovated because in the end..is about managing and eating food in there so hygiene comes first. They have a great potential for customers at the back too but no one ever seats there as not much looked after area with piled stuff. If they would make it tidy & cozy with some comfortable chairs, plants outside windows I bet many people would use that part too and they will sell much more probably. There is some some wall's art at the front which they have now covered with some metallic shelving, a pity as also less space but it looks temporary. I hope to review it again in a few months and give the place a full 5 marks as they can get that with no much effort !

Would recommend it to everyone! Located in the heart of Stoke newington, this little cafe is great for working, sitting on your laptop or just grabbing a coffee to go! Also they have a great selection of food and sandwiches! X

I work right next door in the nursery and sometimes we go in for coffee or a bit to eat. Very local and loads of people go in before and after the school run. Can be busy during the mornings but gets quiet about 11 and after then busy again about 3ish. Friendly staff. small and cosy. Seating in and outside but not much space. Can eat and drink there or to take away. Not to expensive. Serve sandwiches, bread and cakes.

Tasty coffee, great healthy juices and very quick service. Love our wend coffees here. Even do an almond milk bubba cino for my son

I went here just for a chai latte. it came out with a teabag and milk added to it. I'm not a fan of ordering a chai latte and it being a teabag - if I wanted a chai tea I would order a chai tea. in saying that though the staff member was nice and inside has a nice atmosphere.
