Bocadillo in Teignbridge

Went to get some food but couldn’t pay because they only accept cash. This is fine, although annoying, I can take my custom elsewhere. However when the staff openly put you down in front of other customers saying “what is this world coming to” I was pretty upset. You do you bocadillo but don’t openly judge and put down customers for living in the modern world.

Often stop for a Bacon Baguette and for me this is the best Bacon Baguette ever and always look for to when I am passing Teignmouth just so I can pop in and have a nice lunch

Went there for lunch. The atmosphere was good with the door being used as a place to take orders and serve other people You order and then stand in a semi circle around said door and wait for your meal to be served. Food is very good though. though its kinda steep it is definitely not a daily lunch good for speaking to your mates or to fellow customers. Its in the triangle so lots of interesting situations going on. The women is usually in a mood untill you speak to her then shes good

Having heard really good reports about Bocadillo I called in today to sample one of their famous Steak, Onion, Mushroom and Cheese baguettes. The staff were really friendly and chatty and I have to say the Steak baguette was everything I'd been told it was and more! Beautiful fresh bread, packed with delicious melt in the mouth steak, lots of mushrooms, onions and cheese. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back. 😁

I'm a local here and I decided to support a small local business so I went for a coffee here. Right away the service I received was rude and dismissive. The woman there didn't seem to want to serve us at all. I asked for two americanos and this woman rudely just asked if that's two dark coffees. I said yes. When she finally came out with the two coffees I extended my phone to pay and this woman rudely said: "It's cash only. All the locals know this." During COVID times I don't carry any cash on me and neither do most people. There were no signs anywhere that said this, and instead of explaining this politely to us, this woman was rude a belittled us. I hate to think how they would act towards people that are actual tourists here. I won't be going here again.

Been here many times when visiting Teignmouth, if you want a quick bite for lunch its a perfect choice. Baguettes are always fresh and tasty and the sausage and bacon is delicious, never tasted bacon so good anywhere else! Prices are really competitive too. If I ever fancy a bacon & sausage baguette, i'd always go to this place!

I’ve been getting my lunch at Bocadillo for 6 years now since I have been working in Teignmouth. The quality of the baguette is always superb and made in a very efficient time. Keep up the good work👍

Cracking bacon and egg baguette and a cup of coffee for around a fiver. Proper thick-cut bacon and really nice bread. Can't go wrong here.

This great cafe offers lots of tasty sandwiches, jacket potatoes and paninis. The jacket potato I had was big and had lots of filling with a great flavour. The people with me agreed that there food was also very nice.

busy little takeaway ( or eat outside). I'm happy just smelling the bacon frizzeling whilst being cooked. Good value for money. watch out for seagulls outside they just love baguettes

Had a recent trip to old favourite Teignmouth and wanted a small snacky lunch for our time on the beach. We all had a baguette from here. Good choice, freshly made and good quality ingredients, generally filled. Just the job!

Have had a sandwich from here a few times and always very nice. Good value for money and I feel better about myself eating fresh sandwiches than packet ones from leading supermarkets.

We were a bunch of hungry travelers and they made us very welcome ,it was worth every penny, lovely meat balls ,maybe put some rabbit meatballs on next time mmmmm

Baguettes and paninis are really good. If you are not on a diet, try the steak, mushroom, onion & cheese baguette - you won't need to eat for the rest of the day. Run by very nice people.

It is basically a "take-away" place but it has some seating outside. No plates are provided but you can use some plastic cutlery that they provide. There is a wide range of baguettes and jacket potatoes, and if I remember correctly there were paninis on the menu too. You can have your drink in a take-away mug or in an ordinary mug if you are going to sit outside and eat. The two baguettes that we had were superb; full and very tasty too.

We tried cold and hot take away food in sandwiches, baguettes and rolls - everything was tasty and fresh, perfect for your picnic! Fantastic range of fillings. The owners are very friendly and polite. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I have a very fussy 5 year old daughter and noticed this place did plain cheese sandwiches so we stopped to get some lunch. The staff are very friendly and the food is lovely and all made to order. value for money is brilliant, we had 4 drinks, 2 sandwiches, 1 baguette and a jacket potato (in fact 2 jacket potatoes) all for just over £13. would highly recommend

Bought a large baguette from here filled with my favourite filling. The staff were friendly, the prices were very reasonable and the food tasted absolutely sensational. Would definitely recommend! 5 out of 5!

Visited with my daughter. We had a baguette and tea and it was lovely. Friendly staff and not too expensive. We will be going again

Yo estaba en Teinmouth por negocios y llamada en bocadillo por recomendación de un local porque se supone que debe hacer el mejor bacon Baguette en Teinmouth y tenía razón era delicioso. Los propietarios eran apresuramos sus pies pero aún así me las arreglé para ser amable preguntando si hubiera un buen día, etc. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo cuando en la zona.

Volvimos de nuevo después de 2 años, cuando me dieron 5 estrellas por el más delicioso filete, hongos y baguette de queso. encantado de decir que nada ha cambiado, tenía el mismo y fue igual de buena como anterior. Siempre está lleno, lo cual dice todo.

My dear friend and I fancied something different for breakfast so headed to Bocadillo's. A good selection of items to choose from.. The meatballs took our eye. We were pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were. Fresh bread and some delicious grated cheese on top. Served with a friendly smile. Thanks.

she took us to Teignmouth where we had a bite to eat at Bocadillo and I have to say that the food we ate was delicious.I even asked the lady who served us if she could re-locate 300 mile North to where we live.Will definitely return when next in Devon.

Lovely sandwich shop in Teignmouth, offering a range of warm and cold sandwiches made to order. I love the salads that they make up with you. Its a very popular sandwich shop and often has big queues especially with workman. It has a few tables outside that you could sit and eat you sandwich/jacket potato/salad. It also offers hot and cold drinks. Owners very friendly.

Everything we've had from here is lovely, my new favourite is the steak, mushroom, onion and melted cheese baguette.... Delish, Everything is freshly made on that day. You won't believe the menu for such a small place! The owners are lovely people and such a laugh

Great food. Now going there daily, I highly recommend it to anyone! Staff are great, and if you are in a rush you can order by phone then pick up and pay when you get there! Absolutely amazing!

The baguettes are great - really top quality bread and fillings, especially the steak and onion. They do really good value jacket potatoes as well. good place to sit outside in the summer.

Visit this takeaway with outside seating everytime we visit Teignmouth. First class food everytime we visit. Not tried all the food because everytime we visit we have the steak, mushroom and melted cheese baguette. That good we can never be tempted to try anything else. The place is always busy which tells you everything.

I eat here on a very regular basis and the standard of the food is always very good.Keep up the good work.

This sandwhich bar with outdoor seating is one of my favourites to grab some lunch from when on my work break. Their sandwiches are huge and they have a wide variety. My particular favourite is the ham, cheese, and pineapple panini. All ingredients is fresh and delicious.

Great staff, great food, great service.. Highly recommend! Here on a holiday for approximately a week, will be bak for more.

Staff are brilliant here, very friendly and always willing to help which is more than I can say for some of the other restaurants around here! Food is top notch Everytime, I have been visiting Bocca for about 6 years and I love it. Tried the other sandwich bars but still always come back to Bocca. Food is cheap and very quick! So suprised they don't have more reviews!

One of the best sandwich shops in town with a great variety. Jacket potatoes are absolutely amazing. I'm surprised Bocadillo's doesn't have more reviews! It's awesome

This is the best sandwich bar in Teignmouth by far. Julie & Martin are the most pleasant owners I have ever met. Everything is made fresh to order and is very reasonably priced. This is my regular sandwich bar with a friendly atmosphere. This gets a No.1 vote everytime. Well worth a visit.
