Lovely place , drinks before we went for food , great bar staff, little bowl of olives , sat in the window, Lovely ambience, cosy and warm , after we had food we came back for more drinks it was so nice 😀

Tom was a star, what a barman. He brought so much life and soul to the party. I can’t compliment him enough, this man is gonna go far. Amazing night and it was all thanks to Tom. Anyone else the night wouldn’t have been so amazing, you have captured a beautiful vibrant soul and you should thank your lucky stars

What an absolutely gorgeous space, I hosted a baby shower here yesterday and nothing was too much trouble. Tom was an absolute dream bar tender and game show host. He is an absolute credit to your business - wee diamond guy!

Fairly regular vister, draught pironi beer not right, tasted of soap, three pints ordered, one exchanged, second two, staff did not offer replacement so purched alternative pints. Also gents toilets had minor leek fron urinal and attempted fix with torque rolll, leaking accross floor. Poor

Your management is a joke and seriously needs to get of her power trip 6/7 years ago she decided to charge and. Not put vodka in our drinks then finally did with an apology to still 6/7 years be pathetic about it is disgusting 7 weekends in a row I've been going in there and she even served us last night our first drink then decided to say to my hubby If your with her 😳 then no more drink you are one sad human being with no management skills and are so sad how dare you talk to my husband like that you are pathetic

By far the best place in Poulton for cocktails. So many different gins to chose from and a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very helpful too.10/10 would recommend.

Small busy bar, limited seating but a good atmosphere. Staff were happy, helpful, well trained and competent in making our chosen cocktails. Usual facilities including disabled toilets. Overall a very good bar.

Usually start our evening off here and unlike some venues where you have to shout at each other to be heard, it's not a problem in this place. Staff very friendly, sensibly priced drinks and a good reminder of how good Poulton can be for a night out.

We recently held an anniversary party at Boca on a Sunday afternoon. The whole property was free for us to use for a minimum spend behind the bar ( not a problem with a group). Both members of staff that worked that afternoon were outstanding. They both helped us set up at the start and cleared up afterwards which was a huge help. A number of our friends commented on how both Becky and Alex were going out of their way to assist in a professional manner. We had a fantastic afternoon and would highly recommend the bar for your private function.

we were attending a private party upstairs. Room was small, but ample for occasion . drinks were pricey but i don't normally go to wine bars, so unsure if the prices were normal. The main bar was extremely busy, and had a good atmosphere.

We always try to finish off our evening after a meal at a local restaurant with a real cocktail in a classy cocktail bar and believe me Boca is it! Always buzzing and always busy. Young or old it's a great place.

Wow, amazing cocktails and brilliant service! The barman was so friendly and went in search of a new cocktail online which wasn't on the menu for my dad. A nice touch and my dad was really impressed. Favourite cocktail was the Boca Bramble - beautiful!

Came for cocktails prior to a meal at another restaurant. Excellent service and a quality beverage. Defo recommend. Can get extremely busy Friday and Saturday nights.

By far the best cocktail bar I've been too and such a large selection. We only planned to have 1 and move on but ended up spending the rest of the night there! Big thank you to Alex who made our perfect cocktails all night and looked after us ! Will 100% be returning soon!

Went here last weekend with group of friends after our meal at Cincos Mexican, and have to say this cocktail bar is still the best, with its great cocktails, excellent service and just the right atmosphere this place has still got it !! Always made to feel welcome by the staff and it's nice to see the staff remember who you are which is a rare thing to find in bars and pubs these days.. What ever your doing Boca keep doing it !! Warm welcome from Dom the bartender. Made some great old fashioned cocktails! Prices seemed quite reasonable most cocktails are £5.95. Don't think I've found anywhere cheaper! Fresh ingredients, good quality spirits, also we got some nice nibbles in the shape of olives and nice crisps. Always a bonus! Nice work guys!

Not the best bar in Poulton any more. Pathetic overpriced coctails, full of ice and very little else. Music loud and grating. Be careful Boca, Platform 3 is nipping at your heels.

Called in pre Christmas on a Sunday evening minutes after a private function had ended. Staff very welcoming despite having to tidy the venue post party. Cocktails, as always, perfectly prepared..

Always feel I've stepped out of Poulton and into another zone.The cocktails are great and the atmosphere good,see people who are regulars,so others think the same too.Come in for drinks before going for a meal,such a good choice and nice staff.

Probably the best place to go in Poulton on a night out if you don't want pony music and pony people.Quite small but that adds to the intimate atmosphere. The one negative is the annoying wannabe black guy with a beard who is always in there, the only thing faker than his watch is his tan.

Me and my other half had been for a meal at the Mexican over the road then decided to make the short walk across the way for a drink afterwards, to our surprise the bearded barman from cincos was working at Boca too! Are these places somehow linked? He recommended us each a cocktail to our personal tastes, highly recommend the apple jacks! we enjoyed them so much we ended up ordering quite a many few more, Maybe a mistake with work looming the next day, but defiantly worth it at the time!

After previously bad experiences at boca I heard it was under new management and thought I'd give it a final shot!Well all I can say is fantastic!The atmosphere and lighting was so much better, I was greeted by the new manager and acknowledged by the other 2 staff that were on. The only downfall was the cocktail menu was slightly extensive and I got bored of reading it half way through and just picked whatever I remembered! The cocktail itself made up for it though! Made fresh right in front of me and unlike other bars in the area i could taste the alcohol!Prices were competitive but would benefit from having a happy hour. Just a thought!Overall 5 star quality! Well done!

Boca is one of the only places I drink in Poulton. Cocktails are always fantastic and very good value for money. Always a great vibe in here, I'm yet to have a bad night.

Boca offers fantastic food during the day where you can hang out and grab great tasting high quality food for a great price - that was until they stopped opening on week days! Absolutely devastated as no where else in the area offers such great lunch time food :(

Fantastic rasberry mojitos. People are lovely including the door staff and the owner is really friendly. Its always buzzing and good fun.

I go here every time I'm in Poulton-le-Fylde (which is quite a lot). It's such a nice wee place. It's not a massive place but it has a great atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and the background music is awesome. Not intrusively loud but awesome. On top of that the coffee is great and the food is extremely tasty. I would recommend everyone to pop in if they're around and about and in need of refreshment. Top notch.

Visited recently and although they were busy I can't fault the service. They were polite, attentive without being overbearing and gave us a warm welcome. Had a very enjoyable time and would visit again when in the area.

i frequently visit boca and am always greeted by well presented warm and welcoming staff the service is great food is of a high standard and reasonably priced would reccomend this to friends and family as it is a very welcoming and comfortable place to relax and unwind.

With my daughter I have been to Boca for several years now and what was usually a pleasant experience was today ruined, and ruined quite deliberately, by a particularly unpleasant member of staff. I can appreciate that staff face demands to enforce the laws on underage drinking but my daughter is 19 and in fact had an 18th birthday cocktail party at Boca and so I was unprepared for the snarling and snide interrogation we were faced with, by some determined to be unpleasant, and clearly enjoying the opportunity to be unpleasant. I went elsewhere for lunch and won't be going to Boca again.

Very average. Coffee ok. Nothing special. Sandwiches and wraps ok.Tables are too near the door draughty when the door opens. Too small.

The place was clean, staff were pleasant, drinks were reasonably priced, atmosphere was relaxing we will visit again!

It is over a year since I last posted a comment on this great little place but as we come here regularly I thought it worth highlighting again. The cafe is in the centre of Poulton-le-Fylde with a large window onto a bustling street. The coffee is really good quality the decor is modern and stylish but it is particularly the staff that make it a friendly, pleasant, relaxing place to meet friends or enjoy a leisurely read.

Was looking for a venue for a special birthday get together. Wanted somewhere that bit special for afternoon tea/cocktails and cupcakes. Boca closed on Sundays so great place to hold a private party with an up marked feel. Love to meet friends here for lunch or coffee. Food always of the highest quality. Goats cheese and mango chutney salad delicious. Held the party late afternoon and it couldn't have been more perfect. Staff created wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Attentive, friendly and helpful throughout serving the most delicious cocktails/drinks/coffees. Superb range of cocktails, so many to choose from. All my guests commented on how just perfect Boca had been in making my party special. Relatives from Manchester visiting Poulton for the first time vowing to return to revisit and call in to Boca for lunch. They will not be disappointed. Thank you Boca for a special birthday I will always remember. Highly recommended.

I stumbled upon this bijou cafe bar by chance and was so blown away by the relaxed atmosphere and outstanding quality of food and drink I have returned several times since. All the staff are friendly and professional but special mention must go to Lisa who never fails to make you feel welcome and serves up the best coffee I've had in some time. Well worth the bus and train ride to get there, I cannot recommend highly enough! !!

6 of us had lunch at Boca last week. All food was excellent. Great selection and freshly prepared. Very tasty and decent value for money. Service very very good. Lisa looked after us and was excellent. She also makes fantastic coffee. Recommended.

Go there regularly for a girls lunch and bottle of wine , always lovely. Lisa one of the waitresses in particular could not be more helpful and charming. The others whose names I don't know - sorry but are all very attentive and lovely. Food delicious , good selection of wine and cocktails also.

Despite living in Blackpool, we don't often go to Poulton Le Fylde for a night out. Mistake! Started off here before going to The Mews for a meal. No bright lights, great music, comfortable seating, mixed age group, friendly people and great guy behind the bar. Wife and I will be checking out some of the other establishments in Poulton, of which there are many.

Great little welcoming bar with a huge cocktail list. So many Mojitos to chose from! They also do fabulous olives which are brought over with your drinks and topped up regular, a nice touch. We will definately return on our next trip to Poulton.

Been a couple of times for lunch recently and would say the food is of very good quality and is very tasty. Can't fault the service and in general it is a relaxing place to be. Will be back soon

We went to the cafe as we were staying at the breck apartments nearby. The cafe/ bar had a lovely feel to it and staff were really nice and helpful. The food was lovely and fresh. Our daughter chose it and she is only 4. I really liked a mirror that was displayed on the wall and the owner was there and told us where he got it from...so we are now in the process of trying to get one. I know this is nothing to do with the food but it is an example of how helpful the staff are that are working there. If we returned to poulton in the future, we would return to this cafe. Nice and relaxing and very clean.

Last Thursday afternoon my mum and i decided to go to boca for a coffee. As we walked in people were leaving from the sofa area so we sat there. We were acknowledged by the two male staff members but still we sat there for 10 minutes before we came to realise that they were too busy chatting amongst themselves to take our order . I stood up and asked if we could order. He said "yes". I asked for two large coffees with hot milk. When they came we were given cold milk. We had waited so long that we did not change the milk. Later on another family member arrived and sat with us. A female staff member walked in to start her shift but looked scruffy and unprofessional. We again sat there waiting for someone to come and take a new order as the person that joined us wanted a drink. The female staff walked past us a number of times but didn't seem to want to take our order. It took one of us to stop her in her tracks for us to have our order taken. We asked her if we could order she said "yes" very abruptly and like she couldn't be bothered. We were shocked with her attitude. I enjoy visiting boca but with experiencing bad service I will be staying away from their for a while.

Although you stroll into Poulton Town Centre after getting off a train at the station which is less than 200 yards. you enter Boca with its tastefully designed interior and plush seating arrangements leather sofas/chairs and stools next to the wall seating, you could actually be anywhere on the continent of europe be in Spain France Boca has that Continental feel about it.THe food is English/Continental and is very tasty thats why it gets a 5 star rating. Its a great meeting place for friends and family just small enough for those intimate encounters.

This is one of the "in" places in Poulton for lunchtime diners. Good selection of savoury food although deserts are virtually non existant, if you don't like muffins -forget it ! Coffee very good. My 'cafe of choice' in Poulton!

Recently went in to Boca on a whim, and had one of the best Soup of the days I have ever had! (Tomato and Red Pepper if you're wondering). The atmosphere is warm and fresh during the day and feels like such a breath of fresh air, with wonderful staff who cater to your every need, though that isn't the highlight of the place, that commendation belongs to the excellent atmosphere at night!Once, the nightlife in Poulton was very rustic and out of fashion, with nothing to really draw a crowd, Boca changes that with the relaxed atmosphere, moody lighting and chic music. Not only is the service fast, but the sheer number of people should be testament to Boca's status as the best bar in Poulton!

I'm not surprised this bar is finalist in the fyldes best bar award, its lovely decor is a great setting for a bit of lunch or a few drinks early doors to late evening, it's great value for money and the cocktails (there is a choice of about 80) are gorgeous. Friendly staff and great service make this a must go destination

First time here and it will not be my last. Had a couple of coffees and a couple of sandwiches. Very friendly staff and prompt service. The food was excellent along with the coffee. A great comfortable atmosphere. Excellent decor as well. Can't wait to go back and try more.

I arranged for friends to come to Bar Boca last night to help me celebrate my birthday and thanks to the excellent staff we all had a brilliant night. They had set up the bar upstairs and very kindly put out and arranged the snacks I had left earlier. Tom made some lovely cocktails - to the usual high standard we've come to appreciate in Bar Boca - best Frozen margaritas in Poulton! All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional - Liam and the team could've have done any more and ensured we all had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this venue for any celebration.

Great place,tastefully decorated,excellent service.Had a couple of very tasty wraps ,(not expensive) washed down with avery acceptable red wind.Very relaxing atmosphere,much better than the well known chains.

Great coffee, great service and a lovely place to spend an hour or so reading the papers and chatting. One small criticism - I would have loved a breakfast menu, but they could only offer toast.

Had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch with friends . Very good and not expensive. We had to sit upstairs as it was busy but unfortunately they were unable to close a window which made it very draughty. Would recommend but don't sit upstairs if its cold.

I visit boca for lunch and cocktails later on, both are excellent with high quality food and drinks. The lunch menu is mainly sandwiches and salads, but is excellent quality and there is plenty of choice. The only problem is at night, it can get very busy! Moscow mules highly recommended!

Mostly I go here in the mornings for coffee which is consistently good. The lay out and seating makes the most of the small space and the varied seating creates a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The odd occasion when we have have had lunch, the food has been ok. Also a good atmosphere early evening for a glass of wine or cocktails but later it becomes unbearably busy and crushed. Very handy for the railway station only a few yards away if you are travelling by train.

Boca was recommended to us, and is now the only place in Poulton le Fylde that we lunch at. and also visit for early evening cocktails when we are in the area. The staff are friendly, respectful and service is quick even in the busy periods. The menu is small but compensates with food that is freshly prepared, pleasantly presented and up to a high standard. A must try is the cocktails all prepared with finesse and polish. The evenng atmosphere is warm and vibrant being a smallish venue .

This is cafe in the daytime with lovely decor and the best coffee I have found in in a long time and a bar at night with an extensive cocktail menu and drinks choice, we went early doors last week and it has a really buzzing atmosphere, what a welcome addition to Poulton's vibrant night life

We have been during the evening and had a great time. The cocktails are amazing. But, just had lunch today, I had a `home made' chorizo soup - it was more like broth - brilliant - reminded me of Spain. Hope its on next time, we will be back!

Visited Boca again for lunch and was not disappointed. The food was excellent, a lovely fresh sandwich with plenty of garnish. The coffee was excellent, served at a perfect temperature and complimented with a biscuit. Certainly to be recommended!

Had such a good night out here recently, cocktails were great especially the Mojitos!! It is always my first place of choice for a girlie lunch too, and all my friends have been impressed with it. A first visit to Boca and will not be my last! After a friendly welcome staff quickly made us flavoured coffees whilst we chose from an appetising selection. We went for a salad and bruchetta, both very tasty and the salad was huge! Relaxing music, attentive staff and good menu especially the cocktail menu which I will be back in for one weekend evening!

Looked lovely from the outside, sat down at 3.55pm, was told they would take our order shortly. After waiting for 15 mins in a small venue where in the meantime the two bar staff were chatting, went to the bar to ask if we could order, only to be told they had stopped serving food at 4pm. It was clear we wanted food but the staff couldn't have cared less. What a shame, we live in poulton and would have been regulars had our first visit not gone so poorly. Customer service requires improvement.

Definitely visit Boca for a cocktail soon- with an extensive drinks menu there's something for every taste. Also well worth a trip for a coffee or lunch in a relaxed but friendly atmosphere. The staff are also wonderful and will go out of their way to help. All in all a great addition to Poulton.

Finally made it to boca cafe/bar in poulton for lunch with my daughter last thursday.Having heard great things from several friends over the last year or so expectations were high,and im happy to say it lived up to its hastily gathering reputation as the new place to be around these parts for some time. EXCELLENT FOOD! good selection of gourmet sandwiches (upon enquiring i was told all the meat is local and roasted daily on the premises),lots to choose from alcoholwise and theres a good selection of soft drinks.All the staff were professional and friendly and checked back to see if everything was ok,so much so i was compelled to leave a five pound tip!! All in all an excellent new place to visit,great vibe,great food...well done Boca!
