Did an Abba themed bottomless brunch. The queens ans staff were brilliant. Great atmosphere, music and entertainment. Nachos that were served were lovely too. Such a great time. If you havent been to this bar before, get yourself down!!

I’ve been out on Newcastle gay scene over 20 years. I’ve known Bobby’s as Rockies and Secrets and whatever in between. Bobby’s was amazing even when it opened and set the scene for what it was gonna be. I just wanna say going in over the last month or so when Coco as been the host as took the place from vanilla ice cream to double chocolate with all the sprinkles. She’s a superstar ❤️ and Tom is thep best bar staff, he knows my drink as soon as I walk in and as always made me feel at home

Brilliant drag bar in the heart of Newcastle. Easy to get to, close to lots of other bars. Cheap as chips drinks, lots of offer including bar deals! Toilet access and seating available. Nightly entertainment available!

Best bar in town if you like quality music and great stafg who go the extra mile to make you welcome. Also safe as good quality door staff here who care for their clientele ...well done all round. The drag queens are spectacular.

Bobby's is one of my absolute favourite bars in Newcastle. Its super inclusive, everyone is always friendly and the staff are legends. It's welcoming to all as long as you are welcoming to everyone too 😊

Simply the best and you'll hear that tune here as you rock the night away with 6o s to techno it's magic in this place ...one of the best free and I emphasize free as it's better than £20 plus into power house.

Bobby's Bar is situated at 78 Scotswood Rd Newcastle and directly opposite Leonardo hotel formally known as Jury's Inn and next right beside Redugh Bridge. I have been here on many occasions but recently Thursday evenings for what I can say is a great night out to be had all. Rue Paul's Drag Race is shown on Thursday 9pm -10pm and you will see past contestants giving meet & greets, entertainment with talk and audience participation. They have devised a game where you scan Q Code from around the bar and vote whom you think will win that weeks episode for the converted Rues badge or the challenge. This is a great place to visit if you love Rue Paul's Drag race. There is no food on offer here but bar snack can be available, during the week can be peaceful so if you like a relaxing no stress day or evening then during the week is best time to visit, but if you like 3 deep at the bar then Thurs/Fri/Sat would be best. To Kirk (Owner) My only downside to Bobby's is that there is no WiFi available for customers, but I feel this could be changed in light of Thursday evenings as you are asked to scan Q codes to join in, and not everybody is on a unlimited internet access on their phone ! Amazing night with lovely staff, entertainment and customers

I love this place. Its the perfect place to end your night when you've been out at the clubs, the drag performers here are always amazing. I had an incident a few weeks ago where I was being followed on a night out, I came in here and asked the staff for help. They were amazing, allowing me to stay with them even once the bar had closed to make sure I was safe before returning me to my friends. Cannot reccomend this place enough

Coming from Brighton everyone assumes I would be comfortable on a gay scene: the opposite. A year after I moved up here Bobby’s opened. Between Pebble Dash and mother Tucker I began to believe that Newcastle was what it claimed to be, accepting, understanding and genuinely didn’t give a dam what you were, Gay, straight, anything. It literally is the perfect bar for everyone.

Quiet before the match but great atmosphere

My visit this place has been excellent until Saturday night….the staff are excellent but be careful with one of the male bartenders…I’ve been ordering the same drink (double Malibu and mango monster) there’s normally a quarter of a can left…. In short they didn’t put the alcohol in but still charged me. When I questioned him he said he had but there’s no alcohol in this. Disappointing but still an excellent venue!! Id still come back but not karaoke night. 😜

First time in this bar. We spent all night here. The new dj was so friendly and the music was so nostalgic. We had the best night. Spent far too much on shots but hey ho. Thankyou for a great night. Happy 1st birthday 🎈🎈🎈

Had a fish bowl for 6.95, two cocktails for a tenner. They also had the footy on and all geared up for Halloween. Didn't know whether it was the owners but two friendly dogs came and said hello
