Menu is varied however it is expensive for what it is. I had a smoothie and a croissant which were average. This came to £7 but any sort of main meal is £10+. The cafe is busy and is hard to get a seat if you go at peak times. There are better alternatives for lunch in the town.

Popped in for a spot of lunch, while out walking/shopping. Food always tastes great and lots of choice on the menu. Reasonable prices and friendly staff!

We took our granddaughter here for cake and drinks. The service wasn't brilliant but okay. The cake and drinks were okay but there were so many uncleared tables, it actually made the place look dirty.

Noor on the till was fantastic, really friendly and welcoming! An absolute credit to the business. This is my absolute favourite place to come for lunch in Dunfermline

I’ve have been here a few times to give this place another chance and end up disappointed every time. The food is really expensive and not great, the service is awful and overall wouldn’t recommend. I asked for peanut butter and chocolate milkshake and it tasted of Hazelnuts. There are much nicer places in Dunfermline that are cheaper than this.

Our first time in Dunfermline and we were lucky enough to find this place for brunch. We didn't have to wait long at all and had trouble choosing what to have as there was a great choice on the menu. A savoury roll and a delicious piece of carrot cake hit the spot washed down with lovely coffee. Friendly staff, great atmosphere - perfect for a visit on a Sunday morning.

Went in for a drink and possibly a bite to eat. The service was painfully slow and we ended up just having a couple of cans. It was half empty and I'd hate to see the speed of service if they were busy

Waited 15 minutes to be served although there was no one in the queue Toast was white with very little brown Poached eggs were overcooked No problem with the staff However 1 girl was at the serving hatch serving meals and she had long loose hair. My granddaughter's meal actually had a long brown hair in it but she presumed it was hers But was it?

I popped in to get 2 cakes to take away. I was rudely left waiting whilst the 2 staff members chatted behind the coffee machine. After around 6 minutes I was served, rudely, and got my takeaway. I have literally returned to my grandparents, cakes for them, and they are solid and clearly days old! We had to bin them and I will not be returning!

Last chance to check out Bob and Bert’s festive dishes, before the new year. The Boxing Day Toastie was the most intriguing on my hit-list, with a stacked up mountain of turkey, ham, stuffing and Brie on sourdough toast, with a cocktail sausage and side of gravy. Unfortunately the gravy was unavailable, which I think may have helped this dish. It was nice to start with, but the heavy combo of strong flavours became a little too much by the half way point. The Mac n Cheese bites, however, were delish! Hope they are here for the long haul! As usual, pancakes and french toast were tasty, although, the bacon was a little more fatty than normal. The Peanut Butter stack is ALWAYS a winner!

Never tried this chain before and won’t rush back. The positive was the coffee was great and tho we didn’t have cake they looked very tempting. It was however pretty expensive and small in quantity. However, 15 minutes queue to order as only one till open. Then our meals were brought out separately about 10 minutes apart! Both were very disappointing. The food is not expensive but it’s also obvious that very cheap ingredients have been used. Might be a place for coffee and cake but wouldn’t recommend the food.

I was charged 60pence extra for oatmilk !!Outrageous, I have never been asked for this ever.I brought my cappuccino up to £4.10 ,this is a record .!! Even roadside cafes don't charge this .A very nice drink but I won't be buying it in bob and burts.

My mate and I were in Dunfermline for a football trip, were peckish and saw this place and in we went. I went for the breakfast brioche bun which was bakon, sausage, egg, mushrooms in a brioche and it was nice. Not the biggest but pleasant enough. I also was sorely tempted by the Biscoff cake and the temptation got the better of me .I am pleased it did as it was superb and very big. Very tasty . I also had a latte which was nice too. Only slight complaints were I felt at £14 for those three it was a little overpriced , albeit only slightly, and that the staff seemed slow in clearing the tables. However, if I am in the area again, I will be back.

Just not very good, staff indifferent and not good value for money. Staff could see what was being left but didn’t ask if any problems. Main issue with food was the amount of fat being used and it tasted as over used.

First visit to Bob & Bert’s and it was great! A vast menu to choose from, we went for the berry granola bowl and pancakes. Both delicious with fresh produce and freshly made. Coffee was lovely. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would recommend for a relaxed bite to eat

We recently enjoyed a lunch at this cafe which was lovely, good choice of food, amazing coffee and staff very friendly. Yes I would agree the cost is a bit pricey but in this current climate I would expect that as this business and its staff have to survive as well. Only negative would be toilets could be cleaner, we definitely will be back 👍🏼

Not particularly good. Cake was £3.25. Oh well, gave it a go. Back to Spoons for me. £19 for that little lot.

Poor service and awful food. Server was half asleep and rude, no indication to where cutlery or anything was, jo milk offered with out cofffe. Order came out wrong and had to wait 15 mins to be replaced on top of that had to refund the amount to our card and then charge the same amount back out leaving us with a few day wait time for refund. Food was cheap and nasty, door to the shop was open most of the time leaving us freezing. Two 6 seat tables were taken up by on person each with laptop and paperwork surly the interests of everyone would be better served. Top top it off toilet floors were covered in urine.

Visited this lunchtime with service users. Food was ok although 2 of the baked potatoes were very small with hardly any filling, the 3 filled rolls all good, no complaints. The issue arose when it came to paying, quite disorganised. The gentleman became visibly stressed, struggled to find the price of most items. We needed individual receipts + as the till didn't print these, they needed to be hand written, he didn't know what to do + when he asked for help he was told "he's busy" + "I've not a clue, sorry", there was a woman standing close by who looked like she could've helped but didn't. I made eye contact a couple of times but she just let him muddle on through. I ended up saying to him to forget about the receipts and I would do them myself on return to work. He was so anxious, really felt for him. He needed support + didn't get any. Wasn't a pleasant experience. I've worked with adults with additional support needs for nearly 20 years + have an autistic stepson. I'm all for places like Sensoriale but please support the staff to be the best that they can be.

We went here for a cup of tea as it is dog friendly. That was a big plus. However you can only seem to order via the screen opposite the counter and this was not easy with lots of people milling around. We found seats towards the back and the lighting was poor which was probably just as well as it felt slightly grubby. My husband wanted to use the toilet and said it was filthy and certainly the queue of people waiting to use the one toilet would not have allowed a clean. Overall not somewhere I would return to as a parent of a student.

Excellent. I wasn't expecting much considering it's a supermarket cafe but my breakfast was perfectly cooked. The hashbrowns and tastie scone where a real highlight. I got the big breakfast and a latte. The cost came to just under £12. Not bad compared to the other cafés in Dunfermline. Ladies who are serving are friendly, polite and very accommodating. The coffee is real, vibe in so comfy and cosy. You forget you are in the middle of the shop. I went during the summer holidays, so the were lot's of lovely families. Only con. The is only two people working in quite a large cafe. The serve is quick still. But they really should have more help. It's within walking distance of the high street and bus station. Overall very please. Will be back very soon.
