Bob And Bert's in Stirling

What an amazing cafe. Plenty choices of dish and so tasty, all 7 of us love the place. Katie made good drinks too, her hospitality is second to none, fast but efficiently done. Would defo be back if in Stirling next time.

Trying some new items, and some old favourites! Firstly, if you haven’t been to Bob and Berts and tried the Salt & Chilli Chicken Loaded Fries then stop why you’re doing and get down there! Absolutely killer! That curry sauce is top-tier! 👌🏻 As for the new stuff, the Korean BBQ Chicken Burger is another great addition to the menu! Topped with coleslaw, cheese, a hash brown and some lettuce, this hit all the right spots! Great flavour from the Korean BBQ sauce, good mix of textures and the chicken pieces were nice and chunky! Obviously had to finish it off with a wee Chocolate and Peanut Butter stack! Ooft 🫶🏻 Get yourself down to Bob and Berts!

Checking out Bob & Bert’s new Salt & Chilli specials today, and they did not disappoint! Seriously, this could be my favourite specials to date! We tried the Salt & Chilli Loaded Fries, the Salt & Chilli Caesar Wrap and the Peach Lemonade Cooler! Also had to order a couple of tray bakes and a slice of Carrot Cake for a bit of balance 😂 The S&C Caesar Wrap is up first, and it’s a delight! Wasn’t too sure if the S&C chicken would go with a Caesar sauce, but it actually works! The chicken wasn’t overly spicy, so neither flavour overpowers the other, and the mixed greens give it a pleasurable crunch! The absolute star of the show today, though, were the Loaded Fries! What a portion size! It’s a mammoth. And it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Crispy S&C chicken, peppers, onions, fries and a curry sauce that could rival any Chinese Restaurant. I’m not sure if the sauce has been tweaked for this new dish, but it was exceptional, and had a much better zing than their usual sauce. The Peach Lemonade Cooler was also a hit! Very refreshing and had a good kick of peach! The tray bakes and cakes were, as always, top-notch! The Carrot Cake in particular was so good! Tasted like it had just been made. If you’re in the vicinity of a Bob & Bert’s then definitely drop in to try these specials! The Salt & Chilli Loaded Fries are 🔥 and would love to see them added as a regular item on their menu.

Visited early morning for a breakfast having been in Bob & Berts in Stirling and Perth on a few occasions and always had good food. There were only two other people in and I ordered eggs florentine and hubby ordered the smashed avocado. We asked for no hollandaise sauce with the smashed avocado and the eggs to be cooked with hard yolks. We waited a while for our food and the drinks had gone cold by the time the food arrived. What we were served was absolutely appalling. In particular the smashed avocado which costs £7.95. The main thing was there was no feta, no red onion, no cherry tomatoes no chilli flakes. Plus, the avocado was practically non-existent with the thinnest of scraping which didn’t even cover the corners of the bread. The attached photo confirms this. The eggs were also runny and lukewarm. My florentine had basically a teaspoon of spinach and the eggs were lukewarm. We complained to the assistant who took our order about the smashed avocado dish and he agreed with our thoughts and offered to replace. However, we had waited so long we didn’t have time so he offered us a refund for this smashed non-existent avocado dish. We should have complained about the paltry portions for the florentine too. Sadly, this will be our very last visit to Bob & Bert’s Stirling.

I ordered ultimate toasty consisted of 2 slices of toast 2 link sausage (each were cut in half to make it look more) 1 egg 1 very small rasher of bacon presentation was not good nothing ultimate about it except the price £10.00 this included 1 cup of house blend coffee needless to say i will not be eating there again when I did complain I was told in so many words take it or leave it---- a very ugly start to my day---

The staff were fun and amazing, they were helpful and relaxed. The food was different and new and amazing, the taste was out of this world. Let’s just say I’d 100% go here again. I’m glad I didn’t go to McDonald’s, because this restaurant really makes up for filling you up with a smile. I see it says ££-£££ but if I’m honest the price for food and coffee was completely affordable.

Ordered poached eggs and the plate was dripping wet including the toast, bacon was overcooked and had a weird taste to it, everything had clearly been sitting under a lamp for a bit and was cold and rubbery. Been here before and it's such a 50/50 split if you'll get good food or not must depend what chef is in. Don't think I'll be back

Came here one evening on my own for a burger and it was pretty good. Have been for brunch a few times with the family and enjoyed their pancake stacks with bacon, sausages and eggs. The meat in the burger is good quality like the breakfast/brunch items. My burger was piping hot and cooked through. Fries were nice as well. More authentic and less processed than McDs. Enjoy!

Late morning visit to Bob & Bert’s after deciding to stop off for brunch. First experience of this cafe and impressions were good. Quirky wooden seated with good selection of savoury and sweet treats to choose from. It’s an order, pay and seat service while collecting your own cutlery and condiments on route. In the past I tend to find places that offer this type of service to be disappointing. Once seated, we waited for our food to arrive. Both ordered soup with toaste deil for £7.95 (tomato & basil soup plus a cheese & ham toaste. We waited around 25 minute before asking a member of staff. Few minutes later our order arrived. Presentation was good and but the toaste was a soggy and the soup tasted nice but was look warm. Clearly the food had been sitting a little while before serving. The place has good potential but service needs improvement.

Came here a week ago and ordered a burger and fries... Burger alone was very pricey and the lady at the till had asked if I wanted fries with my Burger, these fries added on another 6 pounds.... plain fries..... course you think I am going to expect a lot from this meal if its this expensive. Went and sat down but food came suspiciously quick. First look it seemed alright, but after biting it was frozen and still icy. Two store bought patties that were frozen on a crappy bun and little amount of fries. What an idiotic excuse for a meal that was 17 pounds!!!!!!!! We get fed better food than this at school.

Visited 21/1, and was not disappointed. (not had bad experience on any visit). Had French toast with bacon & maple syrup which was lovely. Loads of bacon and more than enough maple syrup. Hubby had toastie and soup which he said was very good and piping hot. Can't fault the food or the service we received.

Just finished a Smokey BBQ Panini, my wife had the Frenchie and we shared Bobs loaded fries. Staff were polite and efficient, food arrived about 10 mins after ordering and was obviously freshly cooked. Paninis were delicious and filling and the fries superb, glad I only ordered 1 portion. If this restaurant wasn't so far away, I'd be a regular. A highly recommended place to stop and eat

Visited for a quick lunch last week. Quick service at counter, with food arriving suspiciously quick. Ordered 'smashed' avocado toast with poached eggs. Avocado was neither smashed nor fresh; instead was presented with slimy brown slices, which I suspect may be defrosted pre-sliced stuff. Tasteless and completely unedible. Tiny portions too. One pleasant male server on the floor who was run ragged. Unable to get attention of 3 other servers who were busy congregated around the coffee machine gossiping, than clear tables or enquire as to how customers food was. Left half my food and escaped quickly. Within a short space of time I presented with horrendous food poisoning symptoms which had me floored for days. Can only have come for here. Shame really as good location with varied menu. Avoid at all costs!!

Very disappointing today. Absolutely nothing on the menu if you are trying to watch your weight. Ordered a hallumi salad as what appeared to be the best option. Hallumi comes deep fried in breadcrumbs, toasted buttered bun , 5 items not on the plate- cherry tomatoes cucumber, spring onion, hummus, sweetcorn (the healthy options) but for some reason fried onions were on the salad. My grandsons were happy the their overpriced kids meals. I would have complained had there been a member of staff nearby. The coffee was lovely.

Take away Chicken caesar salad, with off salad. Really not great. 2 stars as the people are always lovely. Normally 4/5. Not today!
