Highly recommend the beef Sunday dinner. Great portion size, delicious roast potatoes and vegetables crispy Yorkshire pudding!

We are regulars at the Bluebell, for drinks and food. Love the veggie Lasange. Often pop in for a drink when out on a bike ride too! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

Visited for first time on a mid week tea time. Served by lovely waitress, excellent food, we had a lasagne really looked and tasted hand cooked and the legendary cheese and onion pie was gorgeous. No complaints at all except no parking available but will still return

I will not be going back to The bluebell food came out bruschetta was hard cold bits of bread and a bowl of mushy tomatoes with big chunks of garlic. The Philly cheese steak watery yellow cheese hard onions and peppers and no jalapeños I asked for jalapeños for them to come 10 minutes later cold in a bowl. If you want a nice pub lunch avoid this place at all cost.

This is a good pub. Went on a Thursday night for the pub quiz. Service excellent. I would have marked better but I was not happy with 1) Being almost surrounded by customers at 3 tables who brought their dogs with them. 2) The gents toilets. I last visited here 6 months ago and was dismayed that the lock on the toilet door was missing. 6 months later it has still not been fixed! Basic stuff.

I used to love their steak pie - big chunks of tender steak, superb pastry, lovely gravy, but not anymore! I can only describe the filling as mush, with no signs of actual meat! Credit due, they immediately removed it from the bill & blamed it on a new chef! The only saving factors, the beer (MPA), is still good and Cool Hand Luke, you couldn't have a better 'front of house' guy. Looking at the Sunday menu, it seems there's been a downturn of choice & quality. Try to cut costs maybe.
