Blue Ocean Chippy in Leicester

Ordered from here a few times and food is exceptional it’s really good and tasty and if you have any notes they will try there best to accommodate like they have with me so for me I’ll keep ordering from here, Thank You guys =)

Do not order a chicken burger or expect to be ripped of big time

chicken was dried up not nice at all

Lovely as usual but mushy peas too salty

Shocking paid £6 for large chips and I wouldn’t even call it a small

First time ordering from here was all hot and fresh. Onion rings were the best

just brilliant, love the spicy potatoes 5*****

Ordered in person and still got order wrong but only realised once home

the food was fantastic, I will deliver be ordering again

wasn't happy chips where hard plus still had potatoe skin on the chips plus the pie was cold so half of it went in the bin

I did make a note when ordering to the driver not to go down the Blaby bypass but to come through Whetstone, but he ended going up and down the bypass, he would have been here earlier if he had gone the way I said.

New Super Naan Box! Okay my picture doesn't do it justice but look at this! 12" pizza box filled with mixed meat, cheesy chips, choice of a sauce, beans or mushy peas & also a choice of salad with a naan bread sitting underneath it all! Not only was the taste amazing but it was so filling. Easily enough for 2 people and will be buying again. £13 amazing deal!

First time using them and food was fantastic

Unfortunately the chips were rushed with lots of unmelted cheese. They were also cold as the courier took the long way round to get to us. Sorry

absolutely lovely. was abit skeptical as first with how far I lived ftom restuarnt but the chips were still hot and very tasty.

Good sized helpings and the fish was very nice. Everything was really hot too.

Well I’ve ordered a few times from here but this time was a little disappointing!! 6 pieces of scampi where there was at least 10 in the other orders. Chips were just a bag of crispy pieces. Beans were a mixture of fresh and leftovers. Peas were like water. However the mixed kebab was perfect!! You win some you loose some. If the next order I have is poor I won’t order again from here!

Everything we had was hot on arrival. The delivery driver friendly and helpful but professional. The food was lovely. I especially liked the hot wings.

food was cold and the chips old. Always had lovely hot fresh food from here but not for a couple of months so thought I'd treat myself tonight. I'm wondering if it's changed owner. Because of lovely past experiences il give another go hopefully just a one off

Great fish with plenty of chips! Sadly does not come with mushy peas or lemon.

Lovely meals for us both, unfortunately hubby was looking forward to his Cornish Pasty but got a beef and veg slice instead. 😞

The munch boxes are really good value for money I got to kebab pizza boxes and feed 6 of us will definitely order again

Onky thing I can say is great amounts etc but was missing x1 salad and Ben though asked for the kebab meat to be slightly well done it came cold and barely looked like it had been cooked. Very disappointing .

Tasty meal but next time I’d rather order items separately as opposed to a tray. It was a bit messy. Sorry.

We have ordered from here quite a few times before and enjoyed the food . We ordered yesterday and food was awful . Much smaller amount and poor quality . My mini fish was dry, chips were the dry scraps . Faggots broken up and lumpy . Very disappointed !

Recently moved to Sedgley and tried this Chip shop for the first time , I must say they have a great portion and lovely food

Came all the way from canada to try fish and chips from this chippy absolutely satisfied great taste and friendly staff.

Just eat app won't accept ou address as Bradshaw court rather than drive making it awfully hard for driver to find us !!! Not a problem for Amazon or Uber !!!

Low quality and greasy. very expensive for cheap small greasy tasteless portions.

What has happened this chippy use to be good. Quality is going down hill and the portion size is shocking. Use to struggle to eat the amount. Now the prices have shot up and the portion size is almost 50% smaller. Will now be using another chippy.

Bad half of my food did not turn up i paid 25 pound for one meal to come and it’s cold I’m absolutely fuminh

the time kept being pushed back for delivery originally the time was 8.35-8.55 it was delivered closer to 9.55

food was only just cooked. curry sauce didnt taste right.

It's a lovely clean chip shop, the guys who cook the food are lovely, but the girl on the till isn't as friendly and her English is very poor! We are predominantly a white estate, so why have someone who doesn't know the language on the main part of the shop? If in Belgrave then yes, great idea

Really quick delivery and best fish and chips we've had in a long time

have been getting food from here for years and it's always been good however I had chicken on Wednesday and it was very dried up and looked like it had been reheated. Chips were stale I woke up with severe D&V in the early hours of Thursday morning and am still very unwell today. have spoken to GP and they confirmed that these are classic food poisoning symptoms am very disappointed

The driver was rude the food wasn't wrapped properly spilled out & greasy

Order wasn't packaged properly and mushy peas were watery was very off putting

Wings was so small love thus place aswell

Cold chips and all hard, placed order and restaurant kept changing delivery time.. Arrived over a hour after placing the order Cold hard chips and hour late not good at all..

Fantastic fast food always hot and on time with always polite delivery persons fully recommend this place.

We regularly use Blue Ocean as it is easily the best local fish and chip shop in terms of both quality and quantity. The fish has always been outstanding and the deliveries have been prompt. We would recommend highly.
