Blue Lagoon in Glasgow City

Food was rank rotten.not cooked properly. The fish was full of bones.and soggy and like rubber.the pizza cruch was not cooked correctly. The pie was raw inside. Please avoid like the plague. Everytime you go in its different staff. And they are ignorant. And dont listen.NEVER AGAIN. HEALTH HAZARD

Well the size of the portion is shocking and complete over priced for what u get wouldn't recommend nor go back more value m better fed at McDonald's down the road

Era una tienda de chips muy limpia y las papas fritas estaban bien, pero el pescado no era muy bueno y la masa era blanca pastosa y empapada y he encontrado esto en otras tiendas de chips de Blue Lagoon, así que todas deben ser iguales. Recuerdo que solían ser buenos, pero me sorprendió lo mal que están sus peces maltratados y necesitan a alguien que les muestre cómo freírlos. El servicio fue bueno al igual que los chips, así que le di una calificación promedio, pero el pescado me mantendrá alejado.

Tiene que ser una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida; si vas a Islandia, es algo que debes hacer sería lo primero en mi lista llegar temprano para obtener la experiencia completa una vez que esté oscuro, te perderás mucho antes de que se ponga el sol. es el momento ideal una vez que ingrese, obtenga una bebida gratis en el bar de la piscina y una máscara de barro de sílice complementaria si alguna vez vuelvo a Islandia en el futuro, definitivamente regresaré

La persona que estaba sirviendo era muy grosera, y no lo haría porque nací yo. No puedo creer en estos tiempos que esto todavía continúa. Una experiencia totalmente increíble de principio a fin.

30 minutes late and unable to contact shop as phone just rang out.

Went in with some colleagues for a late lunch, this was close and had some good reviews. We went inside and had a look what was available and were curious about some of the Scottish favourites. Upon asking he replied with “this is good Scottish food, aren’t you local?”. We were not obviously and he continued not telling us what was what. We thought maybe this was a bit of banter, which we didn’t mind we are a light hearted bunch and after this carried on for some time and he said order something or get out I don’t care, we had had enough. He then seemed to get offended by our reaction to walk out without ordering. All I would say to anyone who is thinking of going is .....DONT! There are plenty of other places that would be happy to serve you no matter where you are from.

Best food from chippy I have ever tasted!

Ordered a burger with no mayo arrived with mayo. Was a long time for delivery and longer than the estimate. The food that did arrive as requested was good.

fish would have been nice if served after it was cooked as to it sitting in the hot plate on one side for hrs it was hard, dried out fish. Don’t normally complain but this was awful... never again.

Chips were the bottom of the barrell...all very bitty..fish was cold...first time it has been like that

Shocking !!! Ordered at 2115 , after calling shop for over an hour but with no one picking up the phone i tried calling Just Eat to cancel with no success. Driver turned up at 2240 , by which time i had went off the idea of a chippy.. Had food here previously when i had picked it up and it was really good.

After a night out or a day session it's a good place to go and get some food. Chips and cheese with curry sauce usually does the trick.

Wasn't overly impressed. Chips werent very fresh.

Even in the deepest snow, the delivery was on time :)

I ordered online through Just Eats at 7:45pm. It said it would be delivered at 8:40pm. At 9:30pm I called the store and the RUDEST man answered. I asked after my order and he slammed the phone down, him and a woman in the background were SCREAMING at each other and he said it would be there in 10 minutes. No apology. Nothing. Extremely bad delivery service and apalling phone manner!! Just terrible!!!!

fantastic chip shop. had many a munch from here and always great. has a real authentic chip shop feel.

Pre ordered from here at 16.20 my delivery time was 17.45 didn't arrive until 18.15 and the food wasn't that warm. I called the shop to ask how long it would be and the woman who answered was very rude told me she was very busy and to call back in 10 minutes. Will never be ordering from here again.

Visit here whenever I am in Glasgow. The food is always hot, lovely and fresh, well cooked and very tasty. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the Special fish.

Driver phoned 20 minutes before it was delivered and was very rude on the phone and when he eventually arrived he was very rude again therefore I did not feel comfortable and decided not to tip. However, the food is very good but the delivery man has made me feel unwilling to get delivery again.

I gave this restaurant 1 star because it wouldn't allow me to give 0 stars. The driver went to the wrong address, and after trying to get through to the shop for 25 mins, I was shouted at and told I was lying when I said no one came to my flat. Totally disgusted with the Blue Lagoon!

We ordered fish suppers and we're extremely disappointed with what we received. Not only was it extremely greasy it was chewy and over cooked, as if it had been reheated a couple of times. Had to go in the bin!

Worst delivery I have ever had. The macaroni was out a tin and I ordered a 2L bottle off irn bru that cost me £2.30 and they sent me IRON BREW that you buy from lidl 😂😂😂!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!

Food was excellent and was delivered quickly, only disappointment was that onion rings were not home made. But other than that food was great. Highly recommended

Absolutely rubbish, my burger was some ball of deep fried meat that was disgusting with cold chips! Never thought a chippy could get a burger and chips so badly wrong.

The chips were under cooked the pizza crunch was over cooked and the curry sauce was like water, won't order again from here.

Asked for curry sauce on the meal instrad it went all over the bag and not one little drop on the chips which resulted in the food being soggy the roll n fritters were dripping in oil as was the rolls waste of money wont try here again very disappointed

Food was lovely piping hot however order did not arrive when expected as they had not received our order even though it had been accepted and money taken, had to contact just eat to sort it out, so food was an hour and a half. So 👍Blue lagoon👎👎 just eat go collect it ourselves in future

Came an hour later that expected time. Food was "Re-Heated" and also cold when it was delivered. Ordered A fish supper and the batter on the fish was hard, chips were cold also and to top it off there was a hair in my curry sauce.

Good chippy. Would like to suggest it should have curry sauce and pickles on its menu. I've not bought from here before just because they didn't sell pickles when ordering online.

Unfortunately the food took over an hour and a half to actually come and when it eventually did there was a hair in my meal.

Nice apart from chips seemed like reheats and not very fresh plenty of sauce and they were eatable

This establishment should really receive a rating of zero as I didn't actually receive my meal. I called around 20minutes after the estimated delivery time to be told that the driver could not find my address and so had returned to the shop. I didn't receive a phone call asking for directions OR to be told that my meal would not be delivered. How long would I have waited if I had not called them? I asked if they would re-deliver again if I gave them directions and was told no. I will not be using this establishment again and would not advise anyone else to use them if you actually want to receive your order.

TERRIBLE!! After waiting an hour and half I called the restaurant to be greeted by what can only be described as an arrogant b*%@#+d. So cancelled my order which they still sent with the delivery driver being cheeky because apparently they don't deliver to my area. Would avoid at all costs!

Was excellent quality, very fast delivery and well packaged, tasted delicious also.

So I only review when its amazing or really poor in this case it was the latter Waited 1 hour 40 mins for delivery. Got here everything was luke warm sausage supper far too greasy to even eat. Fritters were the worst ive ever had but once fritters go cold they are rubbish so that's the problem sure if it was maybe a little warmer theyd maybe been nice. I actually life a five minute drive from the chippy so it's obviously been in transit for ages. These people don't care about quality avoid like the plague. If your looking for something decent search for Denis fish bar, have ordered from there an the stuff is fresh an warm just fancied a change, shouldn't have bothered. So yeah avoid ;)

Found three hairs in my sausage supper. When i called the shop to ask them to replace or refund me they said no the delivery driver won't come back to my house because its 3 miles away so "just eat" it. Excuse the pun but i totally advise against ordering from here. Absolute amatuers
