Clarkston Jasmine in Glasgow City

Delivery was late. Food was still hot which was the only positive. Ribs were tough and dry and inedible - I had to spit them out. Spring rolls were giant and thick which meant they were not crispy and the coating was soggy. Salt and chilli chips lacked seasoning and were soggy. Prawn crackers came in a thin plastic bag and it had given them a plastic flavour. This was the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. Shredded beef was passable, the prawn dish tasted weird. Absolutely dire. Avoid.

I had the chicken breast with gravy and chips the chicken was sliced and tasted like dried up sticks ,the chips were cold ,would never order here again ,so bad £15 down the drain .so disappointed.

So wee done delivery but took while so called and offered pick up still got charged delivery then it came and it was full onions literally 3 cubes chicken taste was lovely but quality for money not good called Amd told me was a ful breadt no way

Food was not normal standard. Very poor. Food is always great during the week but weekends are very disappointing.

Food was late but spoke to nice staff member on the phone who assured me order was on it’s way and it arrived not long after. Unfortunately missing fried rice, food was cold and quality and quantity of meat in main dishes was extremely poor. Will not be ordering again.

Getting properly fed up now with delays in delivery & will be going elsewhere. Been customers for many many years too. Tonight it’s been well over 90 minutes and the app is stating our foods been delivered but it still hasn’t been. Getting closer to 2 hours now.

Delivery took almost 2 hours, despite showing approx 50 mins max at point of order. Too late to eat when arrived. Delivery times should me more transparent.

Great food shame about time it took

This is usually my got to place but the order I just received is shocking. The delivery was on time, the food was not it's usual standard. I order spring rolls which were great no issue there but the chicken fried rice was not fit for human consumption. Drowned in salt, chewy chicken and taste of fish? I'm disappointed and hope that the usual standard returns promptly. Been looking forward to this all day to only being able to eat the spring roll starter.

The food came cold, the chips were soggy, the curry sauces and sweet and sour sauce were like jelly, the food was not great at all and staff weren’t helpful

Just ok to be honest. Never been before as this isn’t my area but probably get better from my usual go to places. Chicken fried rice was way too salty and mini spring rolls were disappointing. Sweet and sour sauce side portion we didn’t touch as it just looked and tasted weird. Shame.

Noodles very dry as was the chicken .. Rice stodgy and chicken toast burnt and very very dry

Best Chinese by far there is a reason the Jasmine has been there so long 10 out of 10 thanks

2 hours to get food, food was cold and the chips were burned. Worse takeaway I’ve ever had wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I will never ever be back.

Food was nice , delivery times are terrible. It was delivered in the time frame however 1 and a half hours every time we've ordered, it's clear that the shop is busy enough and there is a need for more delivery drivers.

The honey chicken was dry just didn't have a nice taste. The pancake rolls were ok. But really small for the price. Beef curry and rice was ok. But over all for the price and size of the pancake rolls. Dispointed

Monday night ordered at 8:30 after a long day at work but food didn’t arrive until 10:00 It was freezing cold….and although microwave can help some things just are rubbish after that. Really disappointed and annoyed after a stressful day

Waited 2 hours for food and when it came it was awful. Chicken balls were so dry that we couldn’t eat them and ordered something else instead.

Ordered sweet n sour chicken in batter. Completely over cooked. Even a steak knife couldn’t cut the fried chicken. Basically inedible. Sorely disappointed. Been good in the past.

Excellent as always. Highly recommended. One thing to note is that if you order direct with the restaurant there are free wings over £25. You don’t seem to get them ordering via the app.

Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup - Sweet and tasty but watery. 6/10 King Prawn and Sweetcorn Soup - Sweet and tasty, but watery. 6/10 Prawn Cocktail - Very good. 9/10 Honey Chicken Wings - Brilliant, beautiful batter and flavour. 10/10 Sui Mai Dim Sum - Don't know if they make their own or buy them in but excellent. 10/10 BBQ Spare Ribs with BBQ sauce - A let down. Gloopy bland BBQ sauce. The lack of flavour let them down. 5/10 Free Prawn Crackers - Excellent. Small portion but it was the good ones, flavoursome and puffy. 9/10

Food was cold chips soggy and tasteless

Ordered Chicken & Ginger and also Chicken & Sweetcorn plus Sweet and Chilli Chicken. The Chicken and Ginger was just chicken and onions and carrots and there was absolutely no Ginger on the dish whatsoever and the chicken had a weird taste of chlorine. My daughter took one mouthful of the Chicken and sweetcorn and refused to eat the dish, so I tried a bit of her dish. The dish tasted watery and there also seems to be a taste of chlorine from the Chicken too.

Food is always hot when it arrives and I ordered from here once and never went anywhere else since. Still using Clarkston Jasmine 6 years on 👌

Satay sauce was very watery, vegetables consisted of bamboo and onions only. Salt and pepper chips had no seasoning.

Delivery was 15 early than earliest expected delivery time. Food was hot. Tasted fab. No complaints over here

Food took almost 90 minutes to arrive. had to phone the restaurant to see where order was. Food was bland and not worth the money,

Dreadful £40 carry-out meal for three. This carry-out specialises in lightly cooked onions - a cheap bulky filler. The Beef Kung Po was mainly onions, a few pieces of green pepper with a sauce so awful I didn't eat it. The Emperor Scallop was again mainly onions and contained only four tiny scallops. The Chicken Satay was fine but again bulked up with onions. The Peking Spare Ribs came in a watery tasteless sauce. This used to be the best Chinese carry-out in the area. I think they are now all about cost-cutting. I'll never go there again and neither should you.

First time I’ve been dissatisfied with this restaurant. Crispy beef very vinegary, could not finish it.

Food was over 2 hours late, I called after 11/2 hours to be told it was on way when it obviously wasn’t, Food wasn’t that great either, highly unlikely we will use again
