Very decent portions but not quite the quality it was previously. Ordered Chicken Satay which was decent, with plenty of onions & peppers(which I love)but I've seen more sauce in a tiny wee sachet. Extremely disappointing.☹️ The free prawn crackers were fine🙄

Amazing food always fresh and hot always delivered on time tried a few Chinese takeaways in and around the area and Hong Kong house is the best been using them for 5yrs and will continue to do so 5 stars

Curry sauce was too thick tonight

After waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!!! Part of my order was missing and the salt and chilli chicken was stone cold!!! I can appreciate it being busy on a Saturday night but I’ve never waiting that long in my life for a delivery from anywhere!!!! Waste of money and time ... won’t be ordering from here again!

More than two hours for a delivery. Once a loyal customer, I won't return. Unfortunate because the food is good.

Waited over 2 hours for my food to come salt & chilli chicken balls were like mush asked for no onions or beansprouts in my noodle they were full of them so was a ruined meal always order from here but won't be ordering again very dissapointing

Food was nearly an hour late and the order was wrong. When I phoned woman was rude and wouldn't listen. Never again.

Food wasn't delivered at all. Waited 2 and a half hours. Was told an hour into waiting that the driver was 'en route'. No show an hour and half later. Checked in with restaurant, told he'd be there. Eventually called to cancel with no apologies or even any customer service from staff.

The curry sauce came all stuck together like jelly in the tub 🤢

Delivery was very early which is good but if the order isn’t complete then it doesn’t matter. Again, after me putting it in the delivery instructions, I didn’t receive my free prawn crackers! This has happened a few times now, doesn’t seem difficult to throw in some prawn crackers, especially if you’re able to deliver so early and quick!!

The food was absolutely disgusting. The sweet and sour sauce was completely inedible.

Ordered food 2 hours ago and still waiting, have been trying to phone for the last 15 minutes but no answer. Have already paid for order through just eat or would cancel.

Waited over an hour and a half for delivery, chips were cold so straight in the bin, chow meins had a bit of heat in them but not enough to be able to finish them. added half an hour on to delivery which is standard but then added another 20 minutes and and still 15 minutes later than that. no offer of anything free like some other takeaways in the area have done before. new ownership but gone downhill, would be a last option to order from here in the future

food was late. app said it was delivered when it wasn't. had to call to find out what's going on. chips were cold.

Food arrived at requested time but the chips where very overcooked or had been reheated and the chicken was extremely chewy.

Excellent service and food as always. Wont go to another Chinese take away in the area.

Perfect speedy delivery, Mini spring rolls delicious but not enough sweet chilli sauce to go with them, it was literally a few drops in a tub. Salt n pepper chicken was flavourful but chicken was chewy & greasy, & bland fried rice :( loved this takeaway but not so keen on it now it's under new management. Won't be a returning customer

I have always ordered my Chinese takeaways from here, it's the first time I've ever been disappointed with a meal. The food was definitely not the usual quality & I couldn't eat it. I'll be looking elsewhere for my Chinese takeaways in future, actually gutted as I loved the food previous to tonight ☹️

Tasty food that was really good value

Shocking delivery time. No sorry when phoned up about it. Nearly 2 hours wait on food and 30mins late after they said it was on way. Food was frozen and put straight in the bin when it arrived. Would NEVER recommend to anyone!

Absolute shambles! Placed my order at 8.22pm and the restaurant added 30 mins to the delivery time, taking the delivery time to 9.40pm. Not an ideal start. The food didnt turn up so I called and they added anotger 20 minutes on. Ended up cancelling the order. Absolute joke. Dont even deserve any stars.

Its new ownership but the cook is the same. Still 10/10 quality food.

Added on thirty minutes then arrived thirty five minutes late. Not happy. Don't use.

Food was nice but I ordered a chicken chow mein and got a chicken fried rice instead. The exact same thing happened the last time so there must either be a glitch on the website or the person reading the order isn't paying attention. Didn't really want a chicken fried rice, so not ideal!

Food arrived late and it was luke warm. Didn't get gravy that was ordered and paid for. Supposed to get free mini rolls with orders over £18 didn't get them either.

Delicious. Arrived a little later than expected but well worth the wait. Grateful for the extra time to be extra hungry when dinner arrived! The food was at the perfect temperature & the portion size just right. This is by far the best Chinese delivery in the city! nom nom!!

Not the best quality Chinese food if I'm honest

Service was terrible. Restaurant extended the delivery time by half an hour on receipt of order but couldn't meet that. It took over 2 hours to arrive, despite being told at the 1 hour 20 minute mark it would be a few minutes and was out for delivery, and again at 1 hour 35, and again 1 hour 45 when the restaurant hadn't phoned me back despite a promise to speak to the delivery driver and do just that. I just kept getting fobbed off. They even marked my order as delivered at the correct time so just eat couldn't see the issue. I waited 50 minutes for my order after that. Food itself was mediocre, some of it pretty flavourless. I would have been disappointed without the delivery issue.

Delicious food as always and would recommend. Order beef and black bean but got the wrong dish- turned out to be lovely anyway. Hong Kong House every time for a Chinese in the big G.

Food was greasy, Luke warm and took forever to make. Not the cleanest looking shop either. I would avoid at all costs.

The driver was really bad, he would not even get out of his car to come deliver the food to us. We had to actually walk to the next building to get our food and he was just sitting in his car with his jacket on. Not even bother to get out of the car at all and seem like he doesn't even care about it. It was just disappointing as the food is good, but because of the poor service we received we are more likely to doubt whether to order from the shop again.

Food was prompt and had that fresh from the kitchen heat. A little upset the set meal comes with 5 and not 10 mini veg rolls, also the rice is not plain boiled rice, unfortunately.

Took over an hour on a Monday night. Food arrived cold. Driver asked for extra 50p but could not tell us what for and said we would have to phone the restaurant to find out. Considering we waited until 22:40 for our food we shoudnt have paid for any of it! Cold and slow!

Order came about 20mins early and delivery driver was very pleasant. Food was delicious! Love the prawn dumplings and chicken gyoza. Salt and chilli chicken balls were great, not soggy and chips were good too. Would definitely recommend.

My boyfriend highly recommends the Quorn chicken curry - and finding a takeaway that caters for vegetarians is a challenge we have. My chicken fried rice was amazing as always, I forgot to order curry sauce (own fault) and yet it was so perfect I could eat it dry and still love it. Service was great, they called me to organise delivery at gate within 12 MINUTES of order confirmation, I'm beyond impressed. Delivery driver was so lovely, I wish I had more money to tip higher. Cannot recommend enough.

The food was not nice, the chicken was chewy with the amount of batter on it. It all tasted very stale and I understand it was a busy Saturday night but I don't want food that has been sitting out.

Late, Cold and Burst open. Called to complain and was told that it was late due to the traffic. At 7pm. On a quiet Thursday night. They reluctantly agreed to replace the order and we ended up collecting it ourselves. Used to be great service but it's slipped in recent months.

Asked for no veg in the noodles but the noodles came with veg. And the lemon chicken dish is very bitter compared to others. Other than that good food, good delivery time

Thai green curry didnt have much flavour, noodles were good, but they didnt even include the free veg spring roles as we spent over £18, really poor. Would not order from here again.

This is my regular takeaway, however, due to the poor quality of my order I may not be using them again. The food arrived later than the stated time, over an hour. The food was also cold. The curry sauce had no taste, it tasted like powder, it was inedible.

Very fast service tonight. Food is amazing.

once order placed then notified of extra 30 min wait on top of estimated hour. the food was not worth the wait. poor quality, and cold when arrived even though short distance. Would not recommend.

Forgot curry sauce. Ordered dim sum, chicken was lovely, pork was burned and inedible. Have always liked this place and will put it down to Xmas rush.

I've eaten from here loads and the foods been great however this time the Curry was so salty I couldn't eat it. A little disappointed...

Very poor. I have ate here loads of times before but this was not good at all. The chicken curry was very bland, as if the sauce and meat were cooked separately. I mistakenly ordered chips rather than rice too. The chips were awful.

Yeah I ordered from here for the first time and was really happy the salt and pepper chips are especially good.

Will not be ordering again, the food came before the delivery time. However the food was tasteless and we threw half of it in the Bin. so bland and tasteless would have been better making it myself as it had no flavour whatsoever

Very quick delivery. Must also mention that the large fried rice portion is massive and could easily serve three! Being on my own I sadly had to leave a third of the box.
