The blue Lagoon was friendly,very welcoming and provided an excellent meal. The wine list was sensible and had a good selection of acceptable wines

Great food, and service 10/10 5***** New owners are really making this place work, had sit down meals and takeaway both have always been spot on.

My first visit to the Blue Lagoon since its change of management. The change wasn't immediately apparent but on being greeted by new faces and welcomed to their establishment, a number of subtle improvements became apparent. The menu was pleasingly varied. My two friends and I each chose different dishes. We all very much enjoyed our choices. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The pricing was comparable to similar establishments in the area. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. We will make the Blue Lagoon a regular destination. Particularly as, of course, it remains an excellent venue for dinner before walking around the corner for evening shows at the Regal cinema. Andrew

Terrible value for £. Instead of 8/9 pieces of meat I got given 4! Basically just sauce for £15!!! Wont use again and neither will our families. Gone really downhill in quality of food.

My husband and I booked dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The customer service was excellent and the staff made a real fuss of us. The food was exceptional and there was so much of it, I had to take some of mine home. We were given a complimentary side dish and offered a drink on the house after our meal. It was a wonderful experience and really made our celebration that bit special. Thank you to all the staff for their hospitality. We shall definitely be back and will highly recommend to our friends and family.

This is a hidden gem. The menu is extensive and the descriptions of the food is good. I had the chicken tikka dopiaza , cumin rice and parotha and it's the best I've had and I've had many! The waiters were friendly and helpful x

Delicious food. We've came here on a weekend away and had a fabulous meal. Service was really good and attentive, food arrived quickly and was full of flavour. My garlic chilli chicken bhuna was bursting with flavour and heat. Highly recommended.

I saw on Facebook that this place was having a "Grand Opening" on Father's Day. I thought it would be something different so why not. I am not sure that my wife and daughters, son in law and granddaughter appreciated the 70 mile round trip but "it was my day and my rules." We hadn't got a clue what to expect but as we entered we were warmly greeted, with the strains of a very accomplished violinist in the background. There's a first time for everything. It was when we were seated opposite the Lord and Lady Mayor (plus some rather nice looking desserts in the window) that I realised the guys here were making a big effort. Unsurprisingly it was rammed, which can be a bit of a worry as the food and service can suffer but pleased to say that they were on the ball. OK we might have been slightly carried away by the occasion but we had a great time. Nothing at all lacking with the service, food and of course there was a very 'conducive' atmosphere. This was further aided by an extremely talented close up magician, I am not easily impressed but this guy was a cut above. I wish I could give him and the violinist a plug. It's a Bangladeshi restaurant, sister to the well regarded Thespian in Stratford on Avon. The menu is therefore instantly recognisable as typical of many restaurants and the food is up there with the best. Even a particularly fussy daughter and 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed it. The photos will tell you more than I can. In a nutshell, moist chicken and very flavoursome. The bill was quite reasonable and I am definitely returning if I'm in the area after 6.00pm. I am thinking that this restaurant may be under new ownership rather than a new venture, I am sure much will have changed with the food so I would be interested to know what the locals make of it. There is a lot of competition in the area and this is a good thing provided there is enough custom. A night to remember for us.

Moved from the area and Blue Lagoon don't deliver where we are now 😢 Back to house sit for someone so had to try our old fave.....not disappointed! Still the best around, the flavours have so many layers and all the dishes taste like they should. Some restaurants you can't tell what the dish is unless it's written on the box! Not the Blue Lagoon, everything is individual and spiced and seasoned to perfection. Yum!

Really good food and incredible staff , nothing is too much trouble. Very attentive and food was served fast to a great standard. We had a barbecue fusion and a chicken tikka Balti , recommended them both I have Been a few times will definitely be going back !

accompanied by some of our extended family from Australia, we all enjoyed an excellnt meal at The Blue Lagoon (Evesham) with attentive and friendly service. Everyone had a differenr dish, including a couple of side dishes and naan bread, for me washed down with a fine fresh pint of Draught Cobra. The food waas freshly cooked, piping hot, spicy and delicious. My wife and I have been clients for over 12 years (although not frequently enough!) and we certainly were not diappointdon on this occasion. Our 14year old, discerning grandaughted was equally impressed. We'll be back.

Used to be the best Indian for miles around but not this time. Speciality house stir fry. Bland and mushy obviously made from frozen veg. The rice had an unpleasant aftertaste to it too. Couldn’t eat it. Husband’s veg curry not much better. Used to be so many good vegetarian meal choices but only a handful to choose from. Really disappointing after using them for so many years. Different owners? Definitely different menu. Didn’t complain at time just wanted to leave.

I've had some poor meals in my life and this was right down there with them. My wife ordered a vegetable stir-fry as a main - stir fries should be crispy and vibrant - this one looked like the vegetable leftovers from someone's Sunday lunch....

We were sent the wrong order and someone else received ours. We had to wait for food to be cooked again and then further wait for the driver to come back to deliver it. We waited just over an hour and half longer than expected.

The food was an hour late and cold on arrival so I had to microwave everything. Tasted good so couldn’t claim all the money back but asked for one of the meals back.
