Thank you so much, David and your team, for making my cousins 50th birthday meal so special. Loved the personalised menu. Great food, fabulous staff, there were 18 of us, all our food came out together piping hot. Loved the disco. It's great to be able to get up and have a dance. Fabulous restaurant can't recommend it highly enough.

Such a beautiful restaurant and a pleasure to visit. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, a delicious menu selection and five star service from David and team. All of the food is consistently delicious, especially the cajun salmon and veg. There is also a lovely kids menu. We will be back soon!

I had a wonderful Burns Supper here last week. Service was excellent and everyone was happy with their food choices which were many and something to suit everyone. Looking forward to a return visit.

We had my wife's 55th birthday meal at the blue check . Amazing food & very friendly staff. Every one in our party was impressed with the good & staff. They will be having another birthday booking from one of our impressed guests .

I was here for a private function and really cannot fault anything about my experience. The staff were amazing and the food was lovely! With so many people ordering different dishes, I was impressed they were all hot and correct. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff were happy to help. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I Always have a great time at The Blue Check. Im a third generation BC fan and none of us have had a bad experience. We always remark on the good atmosphere and great food. First time going for Christmas Dinner but we'll definitely be back next year.

Very good quality food at a good price. Portions were good for the money. All the food was cooked perfectly and the waiters/waitresses were very friendly and gave a good service.

My friends and I love eating at Blue Check. With the group, JointsRUs, I enjoyed our Christmas lunch here yesterday. The restaurant was full (95 people) yet everyone received a warm welcome. Excellent food at a very reasonable price was served efficiently while attention to detail, like being relieved of our coats at the door to have them returned promptly when ready to leave ensured a very relaxed experience. How the team maintain such a high standard of cheerful customer care is remarkable. Thank you Blue Check.

Back again to my favorite restaurant in Bushey when I arrived on Thursday the restaurant was packed with birthday parties and a Xmas do, but we still had excellent service, great fresh food, and thank you to David for looking after us, see you soon

Our group The Emerald circle club, went there for Christmas lunch. A beautiful walk welcome as soon as you got to the door, a lovely lady was there to open it for you & take your coat etc. The place was spacious, very clean & a lovely ambiance. The food was plentiful & so delicious, great variety of both food & drinks. Great service, every staff member was warm & friendly. The bathroom was kept in good condition, clean, with interesting artwork on display. It was my first time; but definitely won't be my last, Please God.

This restaurant surpassed my expectations on every level, we came for our works Christmas event and consequently my expectations were low. However I was delighted to find that on every level they gave us a stellar evening. The food was great, tasty, hot and served quickly. The waiting staff and girls at the bar were super friendly, funny and helpful and to top it off a great disco full of fab dance tunes and requests. We had a great night and will return. Thank you.

We had such a lovely night last night for our works Xmas do. 13 of us. Everyone loved their food, hot, tasty and good portion sizes. Roast potatoes brilliant, steak melting, the staff were all amazing. What a great night. Highly recommend.

A truly well professionally run restaurant offering good wholesome food, with great friendly service. Surprisingly busy for a Thursday lunchtime. Certainly worth trying out, if you have never been there before.

Today we laid to rest a very special lady. The Blue Check opened its doors especially so we could celebrate her life and share our stories. A huge thank you to them for the wonderful food and fantastic care they took of us all on what was a very emotional day.

Celebrated my 80th birthday with family and friends. There were over 50 of us and everything was just perfect. All the hard organisational stuff was done by David and his team and the restaurant looked fantastic when we walked in. The food and service was outstanding and they were so flexible with dietary requirements that the whole afternoon was a pleasure for everyone. Thank you David I think you will be seeing many of my guests as well as us again very soon.

My Family, Friends and I all had the most fabulous time on Saturday evening at Bluecheck for my 50th! It was perfect and all exactly as I wanted... everyone was very impressed with the look of the restaurant, the staff and service and of course the food! My Dad and Boyfriend are normally very hard to please 🙄 and even they had nothing but good comments. So many lovely compliments from all my gang. Everyone was super impressed!!!! There’s always normally something to complain about 🙄 BUT not this time thanks to David and his team. I was also very grateful for all the help David gave me, from storing my cake to making all my decorations look nice, and table plan etc made life a little easier. I went in early to do those few bits, but they had literally done it all, making it so easy for me from the beginning. Can’t praise it enough and we will definitely be back... along with some of my friends and family too no doubt. It was the perfect setting and night for me and was exactly what I wanted. The other groups in there were lovely too... we all got on well together...which was also nice. You won’t go wrong if you have your special occasion celebrations here x

Arranged lunch on Sunday for 50+ people and everything could not really have been better. David and all of his colleagues were very helpful and efficient, and all the guests were very complimentary about the food. Highly recommended.

We hired the whole of the Blue Check restaurant to host our son's Barmitzvah at the end of July. It was a truly amazing evening the food was incredible, the menu that we were able to offer our guests was immense with steak, sea bass and vegetarian options. All cooked to perfection and nothing too much trouble in any way even if someone wanted to change their mind. The staff were amazing so attentive and lovely. David made it all so relaxed and easy to organise. It couldn't have gone any better and we couldn't have asked for anymore. Perfect venue, location, food and staff - truly amazing. We are still having comments from guests as to how good it was. We were thrilled with evreything thank you all sooo much.

What a delicious meal! It was a special celebration and was perfect! Very attentive service and discreet - no one hovering. Spoiled for choice on the menu! Sea bream with pesto gnocchi was scrumptious. Salmon is beautifully cooked as well.

Have enjoyed 2 private functions here and both were really enjoyable, great nights. 1 star dropped due to parking issues (not venues fault). You'll find parking in neighbouring streets or the golf course opposite... 5 minute walk.

Great food, great service, great decor and atmosphere and excellent value for money for the quality. This was my third visit for a friend’s birthday and I have been impressed every time. A real jewel in Bushey.

Went this evening to celebrate our sisters 70th Birthday. The food was lovely and the service was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was fully booked the bar service was extremely quick.

We haven’t been here for some years although recommended by friends. We finally visited and were pleased to say it lived up to the recommendation. The menu is very good value 2/3 courses and the staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

I was here for a birthday party and can't comment on everyday service. That said, the menu for lunch was pretty varied. The food was well presented and delicious. The service was good too and the staff very helpful. Being on Bushey High Street parking is not easy but there is a car park 200 to 300 yards away. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited for a family Celebration. There were 19 people in our party and we were very well looked after. The food was amazing. We had travelled over 200 miles to be at the celebration and we didn’t feel rushed during or after the meal....

Fantastic evening spent at Blue Check for a 40th birthday party. The food, staff or the service were all excellent and it is such the venue is really well decorated with a lovely atmosphere. This is the second big birthday we have had here and will definatly be back for one of their entertainment evenings. All of our guests thought it was fantastic. Thankyou Blue check. Diabolical behaviour in this establishment last night. Our Christmas works party of 12. Greeted by a frosty waitress demanding we order quickly. Literally standing over my nurses, (yes we work for the NHS) demanding they order now, quickly.....beyond rude. Food was ok apart from several items not available as had sold out. This by the way is a Thursday night Christmas party in a empty restaurant with 3 other table and they've run out of items on the menu. The background music, not festive at all, a compilation of 70s/80s you'd hear in a supermarket. I asked after listening to this for over 1.5 hour could we have some Christmas music please. "You wait" came the reply, its not only you lot in here. Charming!.. you're right it wasn't only "us lot" whatever that meant in here? Were we any less worthy than the 3 other tables of very elderly people, probably regulars who were also there? Either way that didn't matter. It was the extremely rude manner in which we were all spoken to and treated. The DJ which was promised on the night was the rude proprietor David. I wasn't waiting around for that. I paid and left as soon as I could. My other colleagues decided to stay and make the most of the evening. It gets better. They were hassled to pay the bill. Why? They weren't leaving. It wasn't the end of the night? How dare you. I'd say in my sum up "The Blue Check Restaurant" is best past its sell by date. What used to be a good place to party and have fun is no longer. My son summed it up perfectly (he works near there)... I've never seen it busy in there, always empty. I doubt it will be there this time next year. Whether it will be or not I will never step foot in there again. Shame on you.
