Twice we have come at 3:15/3:20 and twice we have been kicked out saying they are closed. Waste of petrol don’t even bother.

Struggled to find somewhere that was a) open or b) actually serving off the menu at lunchtime on a Sunday. There was loads of choice, every item of the breakfast was cooked perfectly and it was decent value for what we got. Only slight negative was that they already put milk in the teas which wasn't an issue for me but the wife only drinks black tea so was slightly presumptuous and I ended up drinking them both but I really enjoyed the food and would absolutely 100% go again

Came for the first time today and will definitely be coming again! Great food and cheap too, we ordered a toastie with chips and a bacon and sausage on toast with two drinks for only £15 and it was stunning! Definite recommend 😊

Blue cafe special breakfast was cooked perfect with coffee and toast included for £7 , my grandson the quarter pound cheese burger with chips which he loves from there ,excellent value for money, cost around £15 including drinks .

It's better than qs cafe where the anti social hang out. But would be better if customers were not so loud. mine you it's everywhere. Food is better than qs cafe as well. Gone really downhill has qs cafe. t

Prices are extortionate. Food isn't even mediocre. 1.60 for an expresso size cup of tea. The fact this place is filled with pensioners worries me that they are all being overcharged. Check the prices

Visited last week when had time to kill in Farnworth, and was peckish. Ratings made me choose this café. Didn't have to wait long, food was tasty, they know how to make a good cup of tea too. Staff were friendly. What more do you need? Happy to recommend. 😊

Upon entry the café is bright, tables are clean but quite dated. There seemed to be far too many staff/ family members loitering around the kitchen chatting away and they constantly stared at me as if I was an unwelcome outsider during my short visit - This was intimidating and made me feel nervous. The old, laminated menus are sticky to touch,. The prices are quite high for what you get; not value for money at all. The Full Monty Breakfast for example :- 2 bacon and the 1 small, deep fried 'chippy sausage' was hard on the outside and a soggy goo on the inside; naturally this went back. They actually counted out a single tinned tomato onto my plate and the single egg was over cooked. The small portion of mushrooms were like rubber the only thing that tasted okay were the beans and the single piece of medium toast. Each item of food had the same nasty taste of grease. that matched the ambience. The staff were not dressed in uniform or clothing you would expect to see in a café and looked as if they had just fell out of bed. As soon as the sausage went back they made me feel unwelcome and started clearing my table before I had even finished my cup of tea and had a chance to look at my newspaper. I feel that this is the normal treatment for anyone who dare criticises their food. Overall experience was terrible, the food was very poor quality and overpriced. and the portions were tiny; not enough for a child let alone a working, adult male. Budget Food @ Premium Prices - Don't bother! wasting your money here!

Found this place by accident but they were very freindly and served really good food. It has a big car park next to it disabled freindly entrance, toilets inside aswell. It was quite busy but the hot food we ordered was very quick and very nice. Worth calling in.

Great little cafe in centre of Farnworth with plenty parking. Food is good and it is always busy but there is plenty of seating. I usually go for breakfast. And it is open Sundays. Very popular.

We had traveled from Scotland to Worsley for a family christening and were looking for somewhere for breakfast on the Sunday morning found this cafe on Google and made the short journey to it. And so glad we did food, service, and staff were all fantastic and excellent value for money. Even returned on the Monday morning for breakfast before heading back to Scotland. Couldn't fault this cafe at all.

Always very clean. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. Food is good I have never had a bad meal . I recommend the omelette or breakfast yummy.

I'm a local and a regular. The Blue Cafe is great place for breakfast or a down to earth lunch. Nothing fancy, but everything they do is done well. Recommend the breakfasts and if you ask they do great poached eggs. I've also tried the steak and kidney pie and the pudding and chips. Both excellent. It can get busy at times and noisy with a full range of customers: families with babies and young children, working folk and groups of retired friends. Staff are friendly and capable providing great service and easy clean surfaces mean that everything is spotless.

Shocking full breakfast but only one sausage no mushrooms everything else you get 2 of are the super expensive sausages because as i can seen they are them cheap ones with 90% bread in

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a outstanding evening and the restaurant was indeed the reason for the successful celebration. The waiters contributed in a pleasant style, the meals were great and my friends were very glad. We shall surely come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

Order the bacon , span & egg on toast as always cooked just the way i like it , crispy bacon & nicely done spam , not greasy like a lot of places i visit . Love it 😀

It's good for the price, go often and never had an issue.

If you are looking for a great full English then here it is, quick turn around and staff are all pretty decent. Open kitchen so you can see the chef's preparing your meal. Personally I have never had a bad meal and have used them for years.

Good food priced pretty well. The Tuna Jacket is enormous and comes with a huge salad and coleslaw. Staff are always very friendly and it's usually pretty busy which speaks volumes. Breakfasts are also great.
