Well managed little farm. Kids love the sand pit and play area while parents can relax close by. Clean toilet facility. Didn't have time to visit the cafe. It looks good with outdoor seating. Excellent day out for both grown up and kids.

We stopped here for lunch and had a ploughman's and a toasted cheese and onion sandwich. (The onlon wasn't included on the menu, but i asked and they were happy to do it.) Both were delicious. The ploughman's included some delicious chutneys and very good home-made coleslaw. Simple food done very well, a real hidden gem

Stopped off for a light lunch on a very long journey. Literally 5 minutes from the M1. A delightful spot run by a delightful couple. So much nicer than motorway services. Also has a farm shop with local produce.

Our new family members had never fed lambs before, so we took them here yesterday morning. Well organised and two barns with lambs eager to be fed. You pick up the feeding bottles from the farm shop for £1 a bottle

My wife and I stopped here for some coffee and we were amazed that we could go and feed the lambs. It was the highlight of our trip and the owners were so friendly and genuinely happy to have us there. We ordered some sandwiches which were prepared to perfection! We are heading back tomorrow for some more lamb feeding action!

We stumbled upon The Paddocks at Bliss Lane Nursery on a trip to Silverstone. We were looking for somewhere to stop for brunch before heading back up the road and didn't want to opt for one of the usual chains. The owner was welcoming and friendly and the food freshly prepared and delicious! Lovely coffee served with hot milk. Just off the A45 @ J16 of the M1 so an easy stop off for anyone wishing to avoid motorway service stations/chain restaurants.

Me and the other half went to Bliss Lane this morning and it was lovely. Had the place to ourselves, which I suppose from a business prospective isn't brilliant, but we loved it. Beautiful when the sun came out and the cream tea was superb

I had used tripadvisor to find somewhere to stop for breakfast near the M1. We were not let down. This is a fantastic little find. We stopped and had a lovely breakfast with fresh made coffee and the kids had a hot chocolate and sausage sandwich. The staff were very friendly and everything very fresh. We liked it so much we stopped here again on the way home and even though the traffic was really bad, we held out for this place.

Such a gem of a place. Wonderful for kids and grown ups alike to be able to feed the lambs and goats. Not a huge selection of plants but what there is there is nice quality at reasonable prices. The tearoom and small farm shop on site are worth a visit too. We found it completely by accident but will definitely visit again.

Have been going here for lunch for a number of years. They do the most wonderful bacon sandwiches, not only that there is a wide selection of food freshly cooked and freshly made. A good place to take children, in the spring they can feed the lambs for a small fee. There is also a small flower nursery with a variety of plants and shrubs also a shop which sells fresh vegetable produce and very good meats. The service is friendly and Geof is an ace host.

Originally found this delightful tearoom on a trip 3 years ago and were passing by again this week and had to pop back for lunch. Was not disappointed, warm welcome from the staff and proprietor. The tearoom is not large but well laid out with clothes and runners on the tables. The menu suits all tastes for all times of the day with a specials board. The food is locally sourced and freshly cooked and/or homemade. Attentive staff took our lunch order and within minutes we were tucking into large portions of beautifully prepared and presented lunches with a large pot of tea.Excellent and well worth a visit, will call again if in the area.

Just off the main A45 in Flore, plenty of parking. The tea room is set out nicely with tablecloths and glass covers on the tables. We had coffees and toasted paninis. One with Brie, the other just plain bacon. The bacon was cooked from fresh. There was salad and crisp parsnips on the plate.Service was quick, despite cooking from fresh, and several other customers. Lots of choice on menus. Will be back.

I don't think you could get much more entertainment value for £1 (at the time of writing) as this place. You can also feed the goats and sheep (another £1 per bag), and there's a good value farm shop and cafe.

In the best possible way, Bliss Lane Nursery Tea Room is like stepping back in time. Relaxed, friendly, locally produced quality food and tea served in china cups with saucers. Your nan or auntie will love it! You will not be placed under time pressure here, so relax and go with the flow. However, it's not just for the old folk! As it's name suggests, Bliss Lane has a small scale nursery with plants for sale. It is quiet at present but it is February so that's hardly surprising. Then there is a small farmyard where children are actively welcomed. At this time of year the princely sum of £1 will gain you access to the lamb enclosure. Another small fee (again £1 payable in the farm shop) will also equip the kids with a bottle of milk to allow some hands-on feeding of the lambs (subject to their feeding requirements). I have to say that children are really made welcome here, with special kiddies meal packs available too. Please note that sterilising hand gel is provided around the farmyard but children additionally should always be encouraged to wash hands thoroughly after contact with any farmyard animals. Contact with the lambs is not recommended for the under 5's so this activity is restricted to kids over that age. That is for your children's well-being.That brings me full circle and back to the tea room. The cakes here are really special and home-made. In fact, Bliss Lane Nursery and Tea Room opens 6 days a week, only closing on Tuesdays as this is baking day.

Like a previous reviewer we'd been meaning to call in at the tea room and finally got round to it on a Saturday morning as we were in the area attending a wedding in the afternoon. We had a pot if tea & a couple of slices of cake, both tea & cake were very reasonably priced. The menu was fairly comprehensive & if we're that way again we'll have something more substantial. Tea room staff were friendly & the place was nice & clean as were the toilets. The tea room is down a no-through road & parking is near the farm with a very short walk to the tea room.

A few weeks ago we visited this cafe, and thought it was wonderful, but it was very quiet. We ordered food and drinks, coffee was a bit stewed, but otherwise all was OK. Went again on Good Friday, and it was so different. It was busier, and the staff just couldn't cope. Ordered food and drinks. In view of my previous experience of the coffee, I asked how long the coffee had been on. Was told an hour and a half, and anyone who drinks coffee would know after that length of time it will taste pretty awful. Asked if it was possible to put some fresh coffee on as any coffee sitting on the heat for this time would taste stewed. The reply was 'coffee is still OK for 3 hours, and we are far too busy to put some more on'. Putting a fresh pot of coffee would only have taken 2 minutes, and would have kept a happy customer, and nicer coffee both for me and other consumers, but all he did was show how little customer satisfaction means to him. Had he said he was busy now, but would put a fresh pot on shortly I would have been happy. The pot on the stove was nearly empty anyway. It took over half an hour for 3 soups to come, and the pot was on the stove!! and the people on the table behind us gave up waiting for a sandwich after a similar time and left to go elsewhere. OVERALL, THIS PLACE IS LOVELY IF EXTREMELY QUIET AND NOT A COFFEE DRINKER , BUT IF BUSY, DO NOT VISIT.

Bliss Lane has a lovely little tea room where freshly made meals never fail to please my family and I. There are always specials on the board, fresh cakes and a very friendly welcome! There is also a garden nursery on site, plus a small farm shop stocking local produce, all run as family businesses. The tea room has a great menu - something for everyone - and also a small selection of gluten free and dairy free products. And the veggie breakfast is just great! :-)We're regulars there, and always feel like it's a kind of home away from home when we visit.

I popped in here by chance, while I was out driving with my daughter and granddaughter. It is a little off the main road and it's a real hidden gem. We had a very pleasant lunch, we had latte for me, a pot of tea for my daughter and cola for my granddaughter. We all had different things from the menu. We very much enjoyed what we had and I was amazed at the variety on the menu for such a small place. It was very clean and pleasant and the staff were very frtiendly. Then we had a little wander around the farm next to the tea shop and looked at the animals which my granddaughter enjoyed immensely. We will certainly be returning very soon.

Closed. 😭 A cosy cafe with friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating in a quiet courtyard conveniently located just off the high street. Nice breakfast and lunch menus available; and of course a good selection of cakes and deserts. Well behaved dogs are allowed inside and outside; water and complimentary treats offered. Parking just a couple of minutes walk away; toilet / baby-changing facilities on-site (ask staff for key). Card payments accepted. Highly recommended.

The Staff at The Olive Branch always have a smile and they are volunteers. Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel welcome. The Homemade Cakes look delicious and the large Cheese Scones are always eaten by my friends. In the colder weather my friends usually have their soup and I always see someone in there eating a Full English Breakfast at lunchtime.
