The food was too overpriced.Although the atmosphere was amazing and the service was great.Recommend going here with friends or a partner but not for a family dinner,The food was not worth it including the price…

Took my wife here for her birthday, great food and service. Was really happy with the waiter Babul, very friendly man and always attended to our needs, top guy and great service.

Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere

We came as a group of seven to celebrate a special birthday. Lovely atmosphere and service. Food was delicious. We highly recommend visiting 70one.

A group of friends and myself came here for a birthday dinner and quite frankly, I wasn’t left impressed. The entrance to the building, the welcoming from the staff was nice and easy, we got settled in with their help quite quickly. The environment was okay, they had some sports channels on and traditional background music. The food..the food was interesting, It was okay at best…overly spicy at times, hard meat or oddly spiced but it wasn’t entirely bad. The staff were the nicest thing out of this whole experience, they were nice and caring. When we asked for a surprise for the birthday individual, they came in clutch! In all honesty it was a one time experience, wouldn’t come again but I’d recommend it if you’re an Asian food lover, maybe I’m just not a fan.

Good was REALLY good. We ordered the cheese balls, lamb chops and fried fish it was 10/10!! The gosht Karahi was the best I have tried in a very long time. Must visit. Definitely coming back soon!!

The food looked good, but it tasted terrible. The pina colada tasted like as if it had gone off. The only saving grace was the amazing service. I wouldn’t come back again just because the food was bad.

Came here hoping to have a nice evening with the Mrs., but honestly, it turned out to be a poor choice. Chicken 65 had a decent taste, but definitely didn’t capture the authentic flavor.👍🏻 Chicken Dum Biryani was flavorful — probably the only highlight of the meal.👍🏻 Nawabi Murgh, however, was undercooked.Raised it with the server, who brought over another staff member that flat-out dismissed it, saying their recipe involves “chicken being cooked twice.” Regardless, both of us had stomach aches the next day — so something clearly wasn’t right. 👎🏻 The Pina Colada was just odd — topped with cream and tasted nothing like a proper one. Not planning a second visit. Once was enough.

Excellent place , job well done

Came to visit after all the hype on social media. Carpark is huge with plenty of marked spaces. Welcome was fantastic, starters were spot on, mains were very average and the bill was high. Also some minor details, small plates for the mains, no serving spoons so had to use the already used cutlery from starters which isn’t great when everyone is sharing food. Clearing plates before starters were finished then placing the same now dirty plates back on the table when we said we’re still waiting for a starter to come… Overall a 6/10 for a normal curry house but certainly not fine dining especially if you have the sport on and music blasting.

Good food quick service and always there if you need somebody.

I went first time to this restaurant.my honest review is..the food was 4 out 10. We ordered mix grill with lamb chops so chewy mostly bones.and cheese kofta..uncooked. Spoke to the customer service guy.he said I will pass it to my manager. And the masala nali was ok.with garlic nan..place is nice.but not worth the money we paid. I won't recommend it to anyone who wants to eat nice food.

Came for my birthday for the first time and loved everything about it was worth it! The vibe is unmatched and so is the view! Will defo be coming again and will defo recommend to others!

Butter Chicken Pasta, Lamb Shank Biryani and their Matilda Cake were all spot on. They do some great shisha and cocktails too. Definitely recommend.

Food very tasty, loved all the flavours but with no alcohol the drinks options were a bit limited. Would not do tap water either. Would be good to have a non alcoholic beer. The restaurant it's self was a nice setting and I'd recommend for the food alone. Thanks

Amazing night at 70 One in Northampton! The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, and the service was friendly and on point. The food was unreal—Lamb Shank Biryani, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Chicken Lollipops, Pulled Beef Tacos, and Bao Buns—all full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The drinks were just as good—loved the Velvet Mango Fusion, Strawberry Mojito, and Pink Gin Spritz. Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to go back!

Honestly one of the best restaurants I have been to. I came here once last year when I was visiting the area and every dish and mocktail was made to perfection. Had me dreaming about the food and then was the perfect place to go to for my birthday. I would drive 2 hours to come here again just for the food and ambience. 10/10 would recommend!

We booked a table for 9 for this lovely evening. All of our friends enjoyed the most. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing and the staff was really friendly. At the same time we enjoyed the UCL match as well. The food wasn’t tasty enough though but still quality and quantity was perfect. Highly recommended.

Amazing selection of mocktails, the pina colada and the strawberry mojito were some of the best mocktails I've ever had. We ordered 5 starters and everything was incredibly flavourful, our favourites being the beef tacos, paneer and chicken lollipops. The dum biryani was incredible. The Matilda cake was the best cake I've ever had. A lot of things are spicy, so if you don't have a very good spice tolerance ask which dishes are best for you.

Went there on Sunday evening. Genuinely not happy. The food was decent, The butter chicken was nice, but the level of service wasn't great. 2 stars at best

Amazing food but i think it needs more private seating areas and also more food for what you are paying for you get the smallest bowl of rice for £4 ! Drinks are so overpriced. They dont do free TAP WATER!! i just think its overpriced in various ways AND THEIR SHOULD BE SEATING ABOVE THE WATER!!

High end presentation has to come with high-end taste as well. It's not worth the price. And this is not coming from a brown person who hasn't tasted anything other than rice and curry at home. Disappointed with the papadum serving dish.

First time being here, and we travelled from quite far away, We had high expectations however unfortunately the food didn't live up to the hype. Service was alright. However, we did ask 2 members of staff if we could sit outside (shisha area) for 10-15 minutes, they both agreed to it but after 5 minutes, they said we had to order something to sit in the area, we decided to order dessert. A minute later, the same member who allowed us to sit for 15 minutes asked us to leave as we had to eat our desserts in the main hall, even though there were plenty of tables free. This was very embarrassing for me and my friends. Don't think we will be recommending this place or visiting again.

Lovely tasty food, beautiful interior and was seated facing canal which was lovely. Couple fault the service or food. Very generous portions too.

I came last Sunday and the service was very poor, the short waiter who looked about 13-15 years old kept having to rewrite our whole order as he kept getting it wrong. He also never put in our order properly so it added around another 40+ minutes of waiting time for the food to come. However when the food arrived it tasted very nice I highly recommend it, it’s just that the service here was poor.

Amazing service and very tasty food. Full of flavour and well presented. The service was excellent and professional. Great location, loads of parking available on site for the customers free of charge,friendly and welcoming managemer ,they welcomed us although we showed up without reservation . Fabulous interior, plenty staff member so the service quality was awesome, we really enjoyed our food ,it's a bit spicy for us but it's the nature of it. Try vitgin mojito and pena colada these were amazingly delicious. Staff both waiters and waitresses were kind and helpful, the restaurant was clean and tidey inside out ,cutlery and dishes were clean ,everything was top notch, well done to all of you and thanks

I've been meaning to leave a review for a few weeks now but it kept slipping my mind to do so We dined here on Valentine's Day, we'd seen it all over social media and it was only 20 minutes from us so we were really looking forward to it! We arrived at 7:30pm and we were shown to our table straight away, everything looked great The outdoor dining area is separate so you have to step back outside for a second to get to it but that's not a problem for us We sat down, there were 2 TV's playing the football and loud chart music playing through the speakers. I was looking around at other couple and boyfriends were literally ignoring the girlfriends just watching the football, it's not exactly the vibe I was going for and for me that paired with the music ruined the atmosphere completely. The staff were really friendly, they had plenty of people working so you weren't left waiting for too long. The lady taking our order mentioned that starters and mains would be coming out at the same time as the kitchen was that busy. To me, this isn't fine dining. They'd clearly overbooked the restaurant and wanted to get food out as quickly as possible, as both our starters and mains had arrived on our table by 7:45pm For me this is way too quick. The food was incredible, although we felt so rushed to get through our starter because we didn't want our mains to get cold, it just makes the experience less enjoyable. We only had a small table and we were overwhelmed by the amount of food (1 starter each, 2 curries, a biryani and a naan) it was just all so intense I would go back on a night that wasn't a special occasion, but if fine dining is what you're looking for then this isn't it I'm afraid It's such a shame, a few tweaks and our night would've been perfect but instead we were left disappointed

Overall a great atmosphere with nice aesthetics. The starters were really good. From the chicken lollipop to the loaded fries, we enjoyed it all. The mains unfortunately lacked a lot of flavour. Truthfully we were slightly disappointed as the taste of the biryani and gosht karahi lacked flavour.

We came to 70 one for the first time and had the cheese bombs, samosa chaat to start and the butter chicken, green chicken curry, and the lamb biryani as mains. All of the food was great and the service was also delightful including our server Naheem.

Naheem and aman provided excellent customer service. They were very polite, and answered all our questions. The food was amazing, full of flavour and very fresh.

Quality food, however portion sizes and prices weren’t the best.

Booked for Friday evening, this was our first visit. Easy to find, nice big illuminated sign out on the road. We booked the Shisha room, great canal side table for two, overlooking the canal and water features, only one strange observation was the two huge tvs displaying football… this sort of took the spark away from the room. Service was very quick, plenty of staff on hand and we didn’t wait very long. This is a dry restaurant so no alcohol is served for reference. Food is great, good choice and full of flavours, mixed grill is so flavoursome and tasty served on a skillet so piping hot.

The ambience, food and staff were lovely. The burger was also so good. I will come back soon.

First time here and everything was perfect. Their service was immaculate and there was cute little features for Ramadan. Very thoughtful from Mohammed and Ibby with their brilliant service. Will be back.
