Alacati Grill Turkish Restaurant in Daventry

The nicest meal I've had out for quite some time. Really made to feel welcome by all the staff on the evening and actually felt like we were on holiday! Well done, we'll be back soon! Thank you

A lovely surprise. Delicious Sunday dinner. Went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon 4pm. Very quiet - only couple of tables. Great atmosphere, beautiful décor, vey clean. Ordered Haloumi, whitebait, meat moussaka, chicken shish kebab, kids burger with fries. All good but let down by barely warm rise. Other than that all good. Service very attentive. Will definitely return.

All seemed fine, I waited for family to arrive then sat down at a table. Drink order was taken, My daughter ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and I ordered a pint of Efes. When the drink arrived, the orange juice was not at all fresh, most likely out of a carton and my pint, well it was not a pint at all, over 100mls were missing (about an inch of a pint glass big head and a gap) I questioned this and received a glass with about 1cm head - still not a pint but I shut up and persevered. Family ordered the seafood platter which sounded delicious. The squid rings were fine and the prawns I guess were alright but the rest was salty and not fresh. A real disappointment...

Stopped in for lunch having seen good reviews and wasn’t disappointed. The food was fresh, tasty and not oily or greasy. Cooked to perfection and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and portions you get. Will definitely return. Our 4 year old loved the chicken kebab, so perfect for kids as well.

Fresh, outstanding and authentic, first place visited when returning to Daventry on business. Highly recommend. Dropped in a few times across the week on last trip to Daventry, unfortunately can't make it again this time.

It's a lovely place to spend a cold, gloomy Wednesday in February. The food tasted so good, kebabs cooked to perfection and even the salad was so tasty. The service was warm and friendly. Even the kitchen area and loos were spotless. We left Alacati smiling 😊

Not enough waitresses to cope with the amount of diners, the rice pudding desert was very cold, slow service and very expensive!

"Unreliable and Untrustworthy" - I Booked this small restaurant for a luncheon club for 15 people over a month ago - I checked again last week and was told that all was well and they were looking forward to seeing us, However I received a call the evening before to say that they had decided not to open the following day and that my booking was cancelled, no explanation!!!! So please beware, if you make a booking, it may not be honoured, luckily there are other reputable Restaurants around, who are happy to have your custom.

Used the the delivery service for my wife's birthday. Very friendly, family run business. Helped us talking through the menu when we were unsure on dishes we've never tried. Food was fantastic and delivered quickly (30 mins). Would definitely use this restaurant again.
