My friend & I went for lunch at The Crookley today & being a vegetarian, I had mushroom & cheese quiche, my friend had Bacon & cheese quiche, well, l must say, I have never had a quiche so tasty, it was gorgeous! My friend said the same about her quiche. We came away happy & satisfied. I believe it was Emma who made them, so, thank you Emma, for a superb meal. Trish Jones

The prawn salad had a very basic salad mainly iceberg lettuce The chicken salad was lovely. The salad was nice, why not have the same salad with the prawn salad. The specialised was lovely. We had to wait 40minutes for are food. The surroundings was lovely

Second visit in as many weeks and we couldn't have been happier. The jacket potato with both Coronation Chicken and Prawn Mayonnaise were gorgeous. The flat bread with feta (rather than mozzarella) was also gorgeous. Lovely welcoming staff and when the weather is kind the tables outside are gorgeous.

We visit this spot often and its recent refurb is really beautifully done. We visited the cafe and I ordered the veggie breakfast. It was hot, delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. Truly one of the best brekkies I’ve had in a long time. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Their coffee is also very good. The shop too, besides fabrics, stocks a small range of quality gifts. Highly recommend on all counts.

I've started to go there most days & the staff always give you a warm welcome, a lovely smile & quite honestly, nothing is too much trouble for them, so, if you want a first class coffee, then go to a first class coffee shop. Incidentally, they do other drinks & various foods on their menu. Trish Jones.

This cafe changed management some months ago which we were not aware of. The latte and espresso were undrinkable, with one of the worst coffee taste we have ever had. The cheese scone did not fare well either and came stodgy. We felt we were served cheap food and drink, to our disappointment, even though prices were similar to all other outlets. The menu has been reduced significantly to what it used to be. I do not feel confident to return, as it is likely breakfast or lunch could be as bad. However on the positive side, the cafeteria has been redecorated and transformed, and is appealing to sit in. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We were recommended by friends to try this cafe and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and could not do another for you, we were shown to our table and handed menus and advised they had Gluten free options to the menu. We both had Gluten free sandwiches which came with a side salad, which was very well presented and tasty. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone in the area to try. We will certainly return again.

First visit since refurnishment in the cafe, which has also been extended/expanded. Staff very pleasant and whilst a limited menu, we could find something for a late lunch that was adequate. Sadly, though, one of the two water glasses and both teacups were not completely clean ... we changed the glass and drank from the opposite side of the cups to save time. Food arrived relatively quickly by a pleasant waitress. My jacket potato was "warm" but surely should have been hot? The waitress happily brought us a pot of hot water to top up our teapot without question, which was appreciated. We ordered a slice of cake each to follow on and waited for other tables, who had placed their order before us, to be served - fair enough. However, we continued waiting until my husband investigated. Our order had simply been left on the counter and ot actioned. Eventually we were served our cakes BUT, and this is the biggest no-no working in hospitality myself, we were served by a (pleasant) waitress who had one hand bandaged and no blue gloves on. Bandages and dressings become dirty and grubby and are a breeding ground for bacteria. Surely, everyone in the hospitality industry had done a food hygiene course and know you MUST wear a protective blue glove if you have an injury, plaster or dressing on? For this reason alone, we have no desire to return. So sad as a lovely setting at the cafe.

We had two friends joining us for lunch, and on a damp October day, we were looking for somewhere a little different to take them. We suddenly remembered the Blendworth cafe which we had not visited in a while but has the added advantage of the interior furnishings showroom after we had eaten. It proved a very good choice, we booked in advance and three of us enjoyed home made Lasagne, the fourth opting for a jacket potato. These items were from the standard menu although there are also daily specials. The staff were welcoming and efficient and the meal well prepared and presented. The attractive setting and dining area, plus the interesting grounds that could have been enjoyed more in better weather added to our experience. There is ample free parking.

We arrived at 3 my daughter ordered a panini. We were told the kitchen closed at 3 and everything had been put away. It was suggested that she could maybe have some of our cake as there would be so much of it. Our waitress went off to ask if we could have a panini and came back saying they had a jacket potato left or would make a sandwich. This place is usually a favourite. However, it now appears to be a victim of it's own success.Promising my friends that this was a great place to eat, we visited on a Friday a couple of weeks ago, and regretfully, we had to send our meals back to the kitchen. We ordered the lasagne. It was disgusting. A huge portion of slop, with tomato ketchup slathered all over the top! It had obviously been reheated, but the meat was cold/Luke warm in the middle. Thankfully, the young staff on duty that day were apologetic and didn't charge us for our meals, though we did think that maybe it was a different cook in the kitchen?? The older (very surly) waitress was not working that day, so at least we were served with a smile instead of a scowl. Wouldn't risk more than a coffee here now.

It had been a while since we visited this venue and was hoping it had improved. However, it took over 10 mins. for someone to serve us, 25 mins. for tea/coffee to arrive and then the food arrived a few mins. later. My salmon salad had one slice of salmon hidden under two large slices of lemon, some discoloured avocado and raddichio leaves and a couscous and sweetcorn mix with zero seasoning - £10.95!!! We asked to speak to the manager who was quite slow at coming out to see us, and after I had expressed my disappointment with the various points mentioned he told me that the food was fresh in that morning and asked the waitress not to charge us. No sympathetic understanding, no interest and when I said that I wouldnt return to the tea rooms he was completely indifferent! What a shame that such a lovely venue is totally let down by such appalling service. Just wouldnt recommend to anybody, in fact would warn to avoid.

Visited here today chose from the special board quiche of the day which was cheddar cheese and asparagus. When it came out I was amazed, huge piece of homemade quiche with a plateful of lovely salad and cous cous. Was the size of a proper dinner and was delightful and fresh. Have been here before and will definitely go again. Gets very busy worth booking in advance to ensure a table.

We arrived at about 12:20 on a Monday in early Feb alongside another couple. Specials menu looked good, café wasn’t full. A special treat on my day off beckoned. Once the other couple were seated on the sofa , an unsmiling, older waitress indicated to us the table we were to sit at . No cheery hello from her. We settled in and studied the menu . The unsmiling waitress told a couple who had sat at the only vacant table next to us to move to a table for two now that it had ‘become available’. We both felt she could have asked them in a nicer manner. We saw some food brought out to another table. There were other waitresses around and we tried to catch their eye too but they were having none of it. After about 15 mins we saw the same waitress come to take the order of the sofa couple – great, we thought, we would be next. The unsmiling waitress then came out twice in quick succession to the table next to us but scurried past us, so still no luck. At about 12:40 having waited in vain, we’d had enough and I decided to fill in a customer feedback form which took a few more minutes. We walked out past the unsmiling waitress who said nothing and I posted the form in what seemed to be quite a full feedback box .Neither of us have EVER walked out of an eatery before and I have never felt compelled to provide feedback but this was a truly awful experience. No ‘can I bring you some drinks’ , not even ‘I’ll be with you in a few moments ‘. No acknowledgement whatsoever.Twenty minutes of being completely ignored is totally unacceptable. Talk to your customers & be pleasant to them, a smile now and again would be good and if there are ‘issues’ like food delays just tell them. A very poor, very disappointing experience which quite spoilt my day off. We will not be returning and will not recommend the café to anyone

Myself and my daughter visited the shop and cafe. The shop had a small sale so managed to pick up a few bargains. We then had lunch in the cafe, which was very busy. It appeared they struggled a bit with the number of customers, so the service was a bit slow. The food was really good. The lady who appeared to run the cafe was seen to be quite stressed when customers arrived who hadn't booked, making one customer clearly feel like it was too much trouble to find her a table and so left, clearly unhappy with how she was treated. Our overall experience was good and it is far better than the keydell's cafe.We will visit again.Thank you

We visited late one afternoon and the service staff were delayed in attending to us. The lady seemed distracted by friends that were sat at another table. The order for desserts only came out with great delays so we were all eating at didn't times. Not enjoyable experience we had believed it was going to be.

My mother and I who had travelled over an hour to visit me, visited Blendworth after she had read a number of good reviews from Tripadvisor. Well I have to say we were both very disappointed. The only good part of out experience was walking into the furnishings shop and been given a warm welcome by the ladies from the shop. This sadly changed once we entered the cafe, as we were scowled at by the older female waitress, with no warm welcome in sight! It was pretty quiet with only two other tables occupied, but despite this we were forced to wait whilst the two members of staff seemed more interested in rearranging the furniture than taking our order. So 20 minutes later our order was finally taken and we hoped to be enjoying our treats shortly. Sadly we were disappointed once again as we waited 'patiently' for our order. My mum's flapjack turned up, which she patiently pushed to one side wrongly assuming that my mincepie and our drinks would follow shortly (when she did tuck into the flatjack she was very disappointed to taste a very sugary snack). Well how wrong we both were, despite no other customers arriving it was at least another 15 minutes before my mincepie turned up delivered by one of the waitress's. Thankfully our hot drinks followed shortly after. Despite the long wait the mincepie was pretty poor, very soggy and lacking in taste.Safe to say I will not be revisiting Blendworth cafe again.

This is a regular treat for breakfast. Wonderful selection of dishes (but no fry ups) using quality ingredients. The lunch menu looks very tempting but I haven't been there at that time. It is a popular place to go and rightly so. Great service and great food. Amazing selection of cakes of different sorts.

I was very disappointed when I asked for a table with my husband. We were told we could use a 4 seater, but we may have to "share" the table with other customers! We were shocked and decided to leave. I emailed Blendworths and hoped to receive some feedback, but received no response.

Snap decision to pop into this cafe. We were hungry and ready for something to eat. It wasn't busy so we had the pick of the tables. The waitress came to take our drinks order straight away and when another waitress brought the teas to us she said the food would be about 10 minutes. It was no longer than that. Scrambled eggs on two slices of toast each my husband had bacon with his (three rashers) and I had smoked salmon. All I can say is delicious. Good quality produce, excellently cooked and presented. Friendly staff and we intend to return.

Called into Blendworth Fabrics and found they had a fantastic cafe. The menu was basic but plenty of choice. The presentation of the food was good and the table service was first class. We will set be coming back. As an added bonus there is lots to see in the shopping half of the venue.

Well laid out with clean and comfortable furniture. Coffee and cakes were good and the staff friendly. Just not quite 5 stars.

Booked a table online, taking a chance on a place to eat we had not eaten before. My wife and I were with another couple and had the following from the menu: Starters; 2x Ham Hock & Cheddar Croquette, Mustard Mayo. 1x Cajun Tiger Prawns, Asian Sauce, Mixed Leaves. 1x Nachos – Sour Cream, Guacamole, Salsa. Mains; 2x Slow Cooked Rack of Ribs, House Made Barbeque Sauce, Fries, Coleslaw (1x half & 1x full) 1x Quesadilla, Toasted Tortilla Wrap with Melted Cheddar, Onion and Peppers, with added Cajun Chicken 1x Cooked Venison Haunch Steak, Chive Mash, Seasonal Vegetables, Port Reduction, Berry Jus. The food was outstanding, all of our food pierced at the table hot and freshly cooked, flavour of all the dishes was fantastic. I had the venison dish and it was exquisite. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with table service and a good knowledge of the menu. We would all definitely return to this pub/restaurant. Food and drinks were reasonably priced.

Tried to have lunch here today. It was lunchtime and with the relatively small choice of meals and snacks available, (breakfast stops at 11:30am) it would have been reasonable to assume that demand could be met. Wrong! With only three quarters of tables occupied, my first choice of meal was unavailable due to a lack of potatoes. So, having had to choose another dish, twenty minutes passed before being informed that an ingredient for that was missing. I found this unacceptable and left having been refunded for the inconvenience of having to put up with such shoddy service. I was not the only complainant and something needs doing to improve service in this establishment.

We visited today and will definitely be returning, took advantage of the Priceiswight deal and had 2 courses for 2 people 25.00 pounds.... Was the best Sunday Roast dinner we've had in a long time, plates were warmed, food excellent and service was very good, plenty of parking and noticed they have quite a few offers on during the week at lunchtimes. Lovely location too for a countryside walk before or after.
