Blackswan Chippy in Luton

J’ai passé un super séjour à Barcelone à l’hostel Blackswan. L’auberge est très bien située dans la ville proche de toutes commodités. Le personnel est vraiment parfait mention spécial à Loïc le québécois et Ismaël pour les soirées organisées dans les clubs ! Je n’oublierai jamais mon séjour merci à tous !

Have to wait for fish ,even chips but the wait is well worth it plaice is the size of a whale 🐋 10/10

A hidden gem ... fab chips ... fab fish ... what more do you want !? You need to wait a while as things are cooked to order ... but it's worth it. Best Fish and Chips in Luton. Go try it ...

Can't fault food quality all cooked fresh apart from maybe pukka pies.....but that's nature of them. Price a bit steep.

Absolutely fabulous everything is cooked while you are there. Best fish and chips. Fish is so fresh and the chips yum yum yum.

These are the best chips I've ever had, i would have given 5* but they are always out of chicken and sometimes i get charged different prices for the exact same meal.

Been here a few times now but this visit was disgraceful got chips started eating them but they was still raw so took them back in and they said they was fresh they might be but not cooked long enough she started shouting and talking in her own language she shoves another portion of chips and said don't come in again took them home and there we go again they where raw have small kids so couldn't go back again very rude people no need to talk in there own language

Black Swan Chippy definitely know what they are doing. The fish and chips here are made fresh and to order, so you wont be coming in and seeing them give you a piece of ready cookee fish. They actually batter the fish right in front of you before frying it off, which is great. Chips are also made fresh and taste amazing and the price that you pay is pretty standard in regards to fish and chips. There isn't anything super special about Black Swan Chippy which is why I've given 4 stars and not 5. But dont let that stop you from visiting. They might just become your next favourites.

My local chippy all cooked fresh so you do have to wait for a bit but the food is not just sitting there . love the kebab wraps my favourite the fish and chips are nice and crispy

Our local fish and chip shop was closed recently due to a family occasion, so luckily I found this one not far away tucked away in a housing area. Very clean and our food seemed to be cooked to order, so it was very fresh. Prices seemed reasonable. We would use again if our local happened to be shut.

Nowhere else apart from at the seaside can compare to the freshly made fish and chips here !! Glad it is my local chippy Huge portions and cooked whilst you wait Never greasy or soggy Love this place

Many fish n chip shops in Luton are a bit run down grubby and serve very greasy fish, so after a long day at work my partner and I tried Blackswan chippy. 5 stars for hygiene helped our choice and we loved the food. Friendly staff who struck up conversation and freshly cooked fish.. will be back soon.

Loved the fish and chips from here, would highly recommend if your looking for a decent chippy in Luton. Hidden gem this place.

Only round the corner the food is good apart from there very mean with there portions also you order things and don't always get what you have asked for the staff are rude they start speaking about you and you don't understand what there saying the food is cooked fresh about the only good thing

This is a real find amongst chippies! Cooked to order so you know it's fresh. The place is beautifully clean with an open kitchen policy so no anxiety about hygiene, although it deserves five stars on that rating too. I found the owner and his wife very friendly although I was the only customer at the time as I got in early, but they were more than happy to chat. Generous portions and delicious. Being hyper-critical I would have preferred slightly less and a little more crispy batter but apart from that it was well worth the money.

Great food and very good portion sizes. The food is always prepared while you wait so it takes a little longer than the average Chippy, but it's worth the wait. Staff are quiet but friendly. Well worth a visit.

I came across this place as I drink in the swan pub near by.The food tasted great and some of the nicest chips I have ever hadThe lady behind the counter was talking about me in her own language to the chef, and he was in flip flops.... If I had not already paid I would have just leftSort it out Blackswan Chippy!!

Balckswan chippy makes the best tasting chips around luton they double fry them They taste amazing and their kebabs are lovely to id recommend this chippy to anyone

all though the food was nice the portions were mean and more child sized than adult customer service as poor as they did not speak to us other than taking our order and offered no hello or goodbye the shop was very nice and clean

Very nice, very generous portions for a very reasonable price! Convenient use of a small space, with very nice chicken nuggets.

A friend recommended this place to me and it is great!Food is cooked to order so you may have to wait (which i don't mind) and tastes brilliant. The owner told me that the sauces are made on the premises and thats why they taste so good.I ordered Fish and Chips and a kebab wrap for my son, the naan bread is fresh and tasted great.
