Food was later than was told, but food is always really yummy😍 cheesey chips , gravy and battered Mars bar are beautiful 😇

Ordered at 5.30pm turned up at 7.30 cold

Very very dry doner meat. Almost like chewing cardboard. Chips were dry also, extremely crispy. Temperature on delivery was medium at best, and we live two minutes down the road.

The cod fish and chips were not fresh and had a strange smell. I could only eat a few bites; the rest is going in the bin. What a waste of money. I even mentioned in the notes section that I’d like fresh cod and chips. This is the third time I've had this issue.

Original food was late and missing the chips. Restaurant said they would send some straight out. That was 50 minutes ago now and still no chips have arrived. It has been 2 hrs 20minutes since my food order and we still don’t have the full order.

Fish was uncooked more better then fish , mushy peas not edible just tasted of vinegar and gone off peas Savoy was so hard cold disgusting the whole lot gone in the bin. Absolute waste of time and money. Avoid this restaurant if possible.

Awful service, 3 calls made to the restaurant each time being told it will be delivered soon.

We usually love the food from pepe’s but for the 3rd time on the trot the chips were dried out/lukewarm and clearly left over from the day before.the sausage in batter was the same too.shame because the food is usually lovely

Every time I order from here my order always gets delayed which it’s not the fault of the restaurant if there busy but the quality of the food wasn’t so bad but could of been nicer

delivery was not 35 - 45 minutes as the site said before I placed the order, when I placed the order it went to 1- 1/12 hrs. when the food arrived the order was wrong, although after I contacted the shop the order was corrected and the correct items delivered, but was another 30 minutes wait.

Firstly, the delivery was 50 minute late and secondly the food was not fresh. The fish & chips were dry and felt like they were reheated or refried.

Always a good friendly service Over 40 years using this chip shop every other week including new ownership. Staff very friendly. They often give my Granddaughters free drinks and chat to them like their family which is so important in this day and age.

gone downhill in'past 12 months this place used to go all time 2 to 3 times a week as a truck driver its handy when were parked close by save cookin in truck but stopped 2 weeks back n its defo gone to pot here na not worth the prices be tesco or cook in truck now .... shame really

You extended my delivery time by 15 mins. Then late anyway by another 15 minutes. Driver said nothing and handed the bag.

Two hour wait for delivery. Phoned up to enquire and said traffic is bad. we are only two miles away. Then said order it's just left. Rude will never be using again. Just terrible.

Food always good had problem with a kebab ordered large got small in fact looked like child’s portion but woman on phone was adamant she checked it 🙄anyways todays order was missing bottle of tango I told delivery guy not to worry but he returned with it can’t fault him for that I always like food from here but like everything you get hiccups now and then

absolutely shocking. wouldn't order ever again. savoly was mushy some how along with the battery sasausaged again mushy. asked for no tomatoes in the chicken wrap and got tomatoes. chips were covered in oil. would never order from here again. a disappointing waste of money

Lovely tasty hot fresh food as usual

Years ago this was the best place in Luton. Won awards and all. Now been taken over and it’s lost the lot. Backyard traders have now run it into the ground by going cheap.. another place in Luton gone to pot!

Delivery was an hour after original delivery time which was changed yet was still 40 mins later than the revised time and as the restaurant is a short distance away was very disappointing

Last kebab wrap I had had a better salad meat ratio. This one had more meat and very little salad. Still tasty but could have been better with more salad and mayo. Fish and chips great as usual.

the most dreadful meal we have had the large cod was all batter the chips were hard brittle and dry no salad in the cold kebab wrap the pie looked like it had been dropped on the floor which was stone cold this restaurant should certainly change it's name the pepe fish and chip shop that won awards for their food this certainly isn't we will never order from here again

Worst meal we’ve had from here and we do use a lot! Wrap had no salad in and hardly any meat! Chips had def been lying for a while very dry! Very annoying paying for food that hardly got eaten and went in bin.

I felt a bit disappointed as there was no salad in one burger and also I put no sauce and it had mayonnaise in it the same burger,and I bought one burger as a meal expecting to get chips but there was none with the cheese burger I got the drink.

The food quality was extremely bad. The fish and chips were extremely soggy and greasy. Chips looked old and the fish did not taste fresh. The curry sauce had clumps. Extremely unsatisfied and would like a refund please.

Order was due 19.00 -19.20 then received a message saying 19.20-19.40 Eventually arrived at 19.55

1 and a half hour late and came freezing cold

Food was okay. Delivery was poor. Order was set as out for delivery 5 minutes before the predicted slot ended, but didn't arrive for another 40 minutes to an address no more than 10 minutes away.

The food that was delivered was fine but the mushy peas were missing.

My order is stating delivered at 19:45 when however it got delivered at 21:15

Rubbish. Ordered at 16:56. Arrived at 18:50pm. Soggy chips and soggy fish. Didn’t put vinegar or salt on it even after I called and asked for this. Joke. Never use this place.

Fish and the chips was amazing very disappointed on the gravy.

First time having a burger and kebab here. Burger and chips tasted like they had been around for awhile and were cold by the time it arrived. Ordered here before and it is usually warm and decent chips but tonight's were not great.

Thought I’d give this place ago as my other half keeps banging on how good they are, how many rewards etc they’ve received. Wasn’t blown away, a 10 minute drive home and the chips were soggy, cold and stuck to the paper, sausage was tasteless and overall it was just wasn’t what I was hyped up for. I’m assuming it’s changed management since it’s glory days and corners are being cut?

Chips were hard and the fish was very oily we even had to call and ask where our order was - what happened to Pepe's Fish Bar??? Really has gone down hill - after last time a few months ago we thought we would see if there is any improvement tonight - opposite - your service and quality of your food has gotten worse - very sad - will not be ordering from you again and will certainly and very sadly will not recommend this place for Fish and Chips

The delivery was within the time slot given. Food was luke warm, the battered sausage looked limp and overcooked, the chips were rotten to the core...cold, hard and unbearable. Curry sauce was good but cold. This is far the worst meal I have had from there, and now will not return.

The food was disgusting, it looked like it was 2 days old. Was cold and tough. Would never order from them again. It was a waste of good money.

Eaten from here many times but this time quality of food was very poor. Not sure if change of ownership... Quarter Pounder with cheese... burger was very rubbery.. over cooked! Donner roll... meat was overcooked. Chips not up to usual standard. Highly disappointed.
