Visited for Mum’s 91st birthday and it was so very memorable. What a fabulous place. Warm cosy nothing too much trouble food so very very tasty and amazing value for money Will definitely be returning. Thank you Blacksmiths staff for making this s really special day.

I was not looking forward to my lockdown birthday so you can imagine how excited I was to receive an Afternoon Tea from my daughter. The platter was brought to my door by Mrs M herself. It was beautifully presented and even had a Happy Birthday sticker on it. The food was delicious, I can honestly say that every mouthful was sublime. Highly recommended! It really made me feel special.

21 North Bar WithinBit dingy lighting, given that the cafe is deep back to front. The teacake was delicious but only scantily buttered and not around the edges, so ask for extra butter. A serviette would have been nice. Taylor decaf tea was extra weak, ask for an extra tea bag to get a bit of taste

4 Chapel StreetThis was our 1st visit, but will become a place to go when we visit the area. Super friendly hosts, the food was exceptional, one of the best, if not the best Sunday lunches we have had. The service was superb and the prices were reasonable. We have paid more for lunch that wasn't as good as this. We will definitely be back.
