Working in Dunoon and found this cafe for breakfast, staff friendly, food was really good and at a great price, lots of items on the menu, cakes, pies, pastry’s etc, will be back again next time I’m visiting for either business or pleasure.

Just had to do a review on this lovely little cafe. Sit in or takeaway. Had cake and hot chocolate mid morning then went back for lunch and had toastie and hot drink. Lovely clean place with fresh hot food. Staff were excellent and service great. Would highly recommend going there if you visit Kirn.

We stumbled on this Bakery on a walk to Holy Loch and what a bonus this was. Friendly service, great bacon batch and scots pies, good location.

We asked the staff to arrange a table for 10 for 12 o’clock for my husbands surprise 50th lunch. They arranged to have my husband favourite meat and onion pie ready to serve. When we ordered the food it came quickly and the service was friendly and efficient. They had also baked his cake which was nicely decorated and we enjoyed this later in the day. We all thanked the staff for making our lunch special and they indicated that they had been happy to be involved.

We were so impressed with this bakery, we returned during our short break in the area. Within our group we had filled rolls, pastry sausage rolls, pies, cakes, treats and tea. Everything was tasty. Staff were friendly.overall a really nice bakery.

We have been staying in Hunters Quay and wanted a light bite... soup and sandwich were both excellent and coffee was as good as any barrista bar... but cam to under a tenner! Highly commended.

In the village of Kirn opposite the old pier. The interior is clean fresh and bright with great views across the firth. Very tasty bacon rolls and good home baking however the Tipsy cake is an acquired taste. Rare to be asked about the preferred strength of coffee - much appreciated. Not the friendliest folk in the world but very efficient. Fair prices and clearly popular in a village that has lost much of its holiday assets.

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick sandwich for lunch. We were happily surprised to have two delicious toasties, mine was cheese and tomato and hubbies was ham and cheese. Top quality ingredients and quick friendly service. Great prices added up to a great meal deal. Eat in and take away available.

Disappointing visit to this lovely looking little bakery cum Cafe where the display of sweet and savoury treats is a feast to the eyes indeed. In this day and age to have no dairy alternatives is really short sighted. Everything was cream or milk based or contained butter and they didn't even have any dairy milk alternatives for my coffee..nor an apology for this! I asked "What milks do you have except for cow milk?" And they looked at me and then looked at each other as if I were an alien! And said "Nothing". And that was that.

Nice bakery goods if a little expensive. Having said that the staff are friendly, the choice is excellent and the hot food is delicious. Nice atmosphere and a good way to spend time on a long lunch.
