Had afternoon today for my birthday with my partner and our puppy. They went above and beyond to cater for me and provided me with a full vegan afternoon tea. Definitely a lovely change from the usual "you can have it vegan if you take off (meat/cheese/egg) but still pay the same price". I understand that they tried a new recipe too to make vegan cheese and tomato pastries which were delicious. Also turns out that afternoon teas have £5 off on Tuesdays at the moment, so they were £7.50 each - which is such a bargain. Even came with a little treat for the pup. Fully recommend and will definitely visit again.

We came to celebrate my daughters birthday today. There were 6 of us in total (2 of them our reasonably well behaved dogs). Everything was utterly brilliant, from our super quiet table (a must for our girls), the food was delicious and plentiful and we just had a fantastic time. The biscoff cake was such a brilliant surprise and really made the day. Thank you so so much for being so amazingly kind and accommodating to us and for a fantastic afternoon. We can't think any more highly of you and will definitely be back.

We booked afternoon tea for 5 - with plenty of complications: allergies, a vegetarian and a birthday. Fantastic quality and flavours, great range of items, exceptional vegetarian items. Lovely, welcoming staff. Just superb. And so reasonably priced. Will definitely go back

A dog friendly cafe, amazing cakes, super friendly service. Also has a great campsite. With a chance to see goats, sheep alpacas and geese. Loved it.

I walked and played with my dog on the wonderful facilities. The cafe was wonderful and all food is cooked daily. The farm store sells sausages eggs etc. It is so worth a visit when this epidemic subsided.

We were invited to a 40th birthday party in the Greyhound on the to save us from driving home late at night we booked a room there. On both counts we were pleasantly surprised. I was last in the Greyhound some 25 years ago, and the lay out was the same but wonderfully restored. I spent many evenings with good friends, back in the day, and it had lost none of its atmosphere. The buffet was lovely, the friends were all there, if just a little older! Our room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and quiet with lovely shower to blow away the cobwebs from the previous night! And there is a small patio out back overlooking the countryside, where you would be able sit and have a pint from the bar, I look forward to that next time. All told a lovely little country pub. We will be back.

I’ve been coming here for over a year since I moved to this town. Absolutely incredible with the flavours, quality of meat and ingredients. You can tell real passion comes from them making food. Always willing to go that extra mile for you, and really reasonable price considering the portion sizes and quality. Family owned and run business and they are so friendly, all of the staff are fantastic. They have a fabulous pub too I am yet to try called the dove. By far the best Indian I have ever been to.
